The professor completed her studies at the University Clinic of Otorhinolaryngology at the Main City Hospital in Vienna. In this clinic, she currently leads the team of otorinologists. In 1999, for her scientific work, Knerer Shally was awarded the title of University Lecturer in Ear, Throat and Nose Medicine, as part of her work at the University Hospital. The training included surgical and conservative treatment in all areas of otorhinolaryngology, including operations on the ear, neck and salivary glands. The main focus is rhinoplasty surgery. The treatment of internal problems of the nose, such as the septum of the nose and paranasal sinuses, and in particular, functional and aesthetic, as well as rhinoplasty with a change in shape. In the private practice of Wiener Privatklinik in a calm environment, the professor conducts a detailed examination, relevant preliminary tests and recommendations, including computer simulation. The professor performs operations at a Vienna private clinic as a general practitioner.
