We can advise it to other people
The goal for which we went - we achieved, we were told the diagnosis, the task that we set ourselves - we achieved, so we are satisfied with the trip to the clinic and, in principle, we can advise it to other people.

Thanks to the great Bookimed and coordinator Marne Pastukhova for help in organizing the survey at the University Clinic of Freiburg
I learned about the clinic from my friend, who was treating epilepsy there with her son five years ago, after a single attack in the clinic. The child returned to normal life. I went to the clinic with a diagnosis of my son's parkinson. We conducted a checkup at the clinic to confirm the diagnosis. In the shortest time - 5 days of inpatient stay, we had a complete clinical and laboratory study, necessary for diagnosis and treatment. Yes, unfortunately, for today this disease is indistinguishable, but it is possible to improve the quality of life with the help of correctly selected therapy. We were offered treatment with drugs, which I, as a doctor, did not even hear in Russia. Ochenb was impressed by the organization of work in the clinic: quickly, clearly and without unnecessary words. I was placed with my son in one ward, we advise him. department, professor. It should be noted that all the research conducted in the clinic, meet all world standards (this I can evaluate, again, as a doctor). And also we were impressed by the very good-natured attitude of the medical staff to us, from the nurse to the chief doctor. Thanks to the great Bookimed and coordinator Marne Pastukhova for help in organizing the survey at the University Clinic of Freiburg. Remained very satisfied!

What patients like

  1. Parkinson's disease treatment efficacy. Germany uses innovative treatment methods for Parkinson's disease, which are not even heard in some countries. Many patients have reported an improvement in their quality of life after treatment.
  2. Doctor's professionalism. The clinicians in Germany meet all global standards in terms of medical qualifications and expertise. Their work is characterized by efficiency and clarity.
  3. Cost. The Parkinson's disease treatment cost in Germany varies widely depending on the specific case and can be higher compared to other countries. However, the high cost is often justified by the quality of care and innovative treatment methods used.
  4. Service level. Patients appreciate the friendly and professional attitude of the medical staff, from nurses to chief doctors.
  5. Logistics. The organization of work in the German clinics is highly efficient, providing a complete clinical and laboratory study in a short time.

What patients don't like

  1. Despite the high level of care, the cost of treatment can be quite expensive and may not be affordable for everyone.
  2. The disease is incurable, so the focus of the treatment is mostly on improving the quality of life, which might not be the preferred approach for some patients.
  3. Logistically, as the clinics are in Germany, the travel and accommodation costs can add to the overall expenses for international patients.

What's the Cost of Parkinson's disease Diagnostic and Treatment Procedures in Germany?

The cost of parkinson's disease treatment can range from $13,820 to $23,530:

The clinic operated on the father (oncology and urology). Excellent chamber, a wonderful surgeon Dr. Wolfgang Dillenburg and head. Department of prof. Edward Becht. Protocol examination on good equipment, friendly doctors, excellent postoperative care. Most of all I was surprised that Prof. Bekht personally made a detour twice a day: in the morning with medical staff, in the afternoon one. But in general, everything is sharpened by a long full life. I am very pleased. What else I liked: the patient is explained everything in detail, offering several ways to solve the problem. It's great!

We are discharging from the hospital, we will keep in touch with this doctor. The procedures go terribly, there is no specific treatment prescribed yet, there is no diagnosis. Besides the fact that my daughter eats, has lunch, has dinner as in a usual sanatorium, they just rip off 600-700 euros per night - a lot of money when you don’t see the result, why stay, just overnight to pay money. I am not happy with the visit.

My mother was diagnosed in Russia with a terrible diagnosis - breast cancer stage 4. The doctors' actions were not credible, so we turned to Bookimed for the selection of a clinic and a doctor. We were offered a Park-Klinik Weißensee, Dr. Ursula Makowiec. Mom passed a 3-day examination in the hospital, in a separate ward. Friendly atmosphere, professionalism, respect for the elderly patient - all this allowed us to relax, not to try to control every step of the medical staff, to read the articles on the Internet. I was sure that we made the right choice. And most importantly - the diagnosis was not confirmed! My mother was not breast cancer with metastases, but a sweat cancer in the armpit without any signs of metastases, the prognosis is much more favorable. The doctor told us - you came here with a fatal diagnosis, but you came out as a healthy person! We plan to be observed further in this clinic with this doctor. I would also like to thank the translator Marina Wernke. She was not only an excellent professional, but also a very pleasant conversationalist, we were very comfortable with her. I also want to thank the curators who helped a lot all the time while mom was in the clinic.
