After that, I reported that I had recommendations from a pulmonologist to undergo an annual examination for changes in the lungs. I do not know for what reason, but it was my lungs that interested both my coordinator and the doctor in Gabburg. As a result, I received an assurance that my lungs are in perfect order and there is no reason for an annual CT scan. Departing from the generally negative style of my storytelling, I express my gratitude for this recommendation. And I really hope that I can trust her. Returning to the main topic. The doctor familiarized himself with the results of lung examinations, and in great detail, I would say in more detail than the results of examinations of my joints. Namely, MRI - a study of the hip joints - which came to the radiologist, in the last days before leaving. This fact confused me extremely. I come with a joint problem. But the main bias is, oddly enough, absolutely not on the joints. As I wrote above, the MRI results of the hip joints reached the doctor a few days before my departure. After examination, MRI examination of the joints. I was told that most likely the necrotic changes were caused by the intake of hormonal drugs that relieve the symptoms of arthritis. I refused any non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and as a result A) Symptoms of inflammation of the joints worsened B) My right hand has lost sensitivity in 3 fingers C) From time to time it is difficult for me to move due to increased discomfort from necrosis When I left, the coordinator Lydia said to just do an MRI examination brushes to see if there are any changes at all. Accordingly, I contacted the coordinator in my country of residence in order to receive a referral. It took me an extremely long time to receive the referral. After the next promises “today or tomorrow” and when after the fact more than 2-3 days have passed. I wrote again to the bookimed chatbot and to Inge personally and finally received a referral. Due to difficulties with passing examinations during the quarantine period. The examination took more than 2 weeks due to the wait for my turn. After passing, I wrote to Inge on New Year's Eve saying that after the holidays I would like to begin to find out the cause of my arthritis, and with the question of what to do with necrosis and, as it turned out, with synovitis and tenosynovitis of the wrist joint. To which I received an answer - that Inga is on vacation and I will receive my answer immediately on January 4, 2021. I was expecting both on the 4th and today on the 5th. As a result, I did not receive an answer or any proposals to solve the problem. I sat down to write this review. I consider this attitude towards clients who, according to your organization, did not receive either a solution to the problem or a diagnosis for which they were going, but at the same time received a worsening of symptoms and general condition - at the very least, extremely unprofessional. Perhaps this review will help you organize future trips for your clients at a more decent level. I would just like to receive adequate consultation and check-up not only for rheumatological problems, but also possibly for other reasons that can cause arthritis. As well as recommendations on how, if possible, to stop the progression of the process.

I took my mother (Halimo Ileye) to see Dr Baris at Okan's rheumatology clinic as was arranged by you. He only saw her for 25 mins then asked her to come back the following day for blood tests. He saw my mother for another 25 mins on the next day briefly explaining her blood tests' results, then prescribed some osteoarthritis drugs for her and recommended some physical therapy tips and told us that we would get the full report in a day or two. However, when we received the report on Thursday, I asked his secretary to go back to him and ask him to send us a full report and not just her laboratory results and to include all the medications he prescribed for my mother, their commercial names, frequency and length of use, as this was verbally explained during the session and not in writing

Admittedly, when I booked the surgery, I was a little sceptical that everything would go well. After all, everything was done online. However, I was very impressed with how good and friendly the constant communication was. I was already feeling increasingly confident here. I also received very good, uninterrupted and professional treatment and care on site. My doctor Dr Burak and my contact person Olivia were very friendly and incredibly helpful. The transfers - to/from the airport or to follow up appointments at the clinic - were very good and reliable. The contact persons at Bookimed also contacted me regularly and enquired about my well-being. I am very pleased with the outcome of the surgery and am pleased to be recovering quickly and well. Dr Burak continues to monitor me now and I feel I am being very well looked after. His instructions are clear and very helpful. The clinic is wonderful, everything is modern and clean. People are kind and helpful, they will help and advise you in everything. Excellent experience. I traveled from Mexico to have cochlear implant surgery. First of all, I found this hospital thanks to the attention of Bookimed, they attended me very well, got the best option and started the whole process. At the beginning I was obviously a little bit afraid that everything was real and correct and with good results, it was the first time I used this kind of medical tourism. I searched many countries and options and found the best deal through Bookimed at Hisar Hospital in Istanbul at the best price. Now that it's all over, I am pleasantly surprised and grateful to everyone who took care of me. I am impressed with how well they have organized everything for international patients. From the transportation, to the airport-hotel-airport, hotel-hospital-hotel, in all the appointments I had, more than 3 times in two weeks. The international department assigned me one and sometimes two translators, all were very well behaved, Dr. Yabuz Selim very attentive and professional, the hospital was excellent, the package included two nights accommodation in a room with two rooms, and meals for patient and companion. Pre-operative studies, post-operative follow-up, and only the agreed amount was paid from the beginning, not a dollar more we had to pay. I had never had this experience in a hospital before. The whole procedure was fast and without complications, they checked me 3 more times without any problem. They helped me resolve all my doubts and concerns, always with excellent response through whatsapp. I sincerely recommend and thank everyone involved in Hisar Hospital. I hope I never have to go back, but if I need to, I will not even look elsewhere.

Bookimed specialists recommended an experienced doctor in a good clinic, without them it was difficult to determine the place for consultation. Since personal examination is expensive, I decided to find out the feasibility of such a survey in the format of consultation by phone (via Skype), which is about 4 times cheaper. The well-known doctor competently and professionally held a consultation, no questions left. What you liked: - bookimed themselves translated downloaded analysis results and any conclusions that I received from myself in Moscow; - Skype offered a translator (I did not need it); What did not like: - It was not possible to schedule a video call on the day I needed because of discoordination, but then they figured out; Total: in my opinion, a hangout with a doctor is appropriate in those cases when it is necessary to make a decision on a transaction with a high cost, it is faster, cheaper and organizationally simpler than a flight. In general, I liked how bookimed fulfilled the request.
