I would absolutely recommend Bookimed to everyone
I was very satisfied with the overall service. The medical team was top. Everything clear, the medical was fluent in English which made our understanding of the problem much better. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Absolutely satisfied with Bookimed services. Both Angelina and Daria were very helpful, eager to assist. The Bookimed agent that waited for us at the clinic was very polite and also very dedicated. We had a fluid situation in requirement to see another doctor after the one that we had planned and the agent helped us and made it possible within 30 minutes. "What he said, none of the other doctors in our homeland in Kyrgyzstan or in Kazakhstan said, so I am very glad that we came to Professor Thomas Cech, heard his opinion about our situation and made no mistake trusting local doctors
We met us well, the barrier is the language, even taking into account the fact that there is a translator, I still did not understand the professor, so I advise everyone who comes to the blade to go with their translator so that there is time to discuss and understand everything, since time everyone has very few and the translator immediately ran away after the visit and not everything was clear. What he said, none of the other doctors in our homeland in Kyrgyzstan or in Kazakhstan said, so I am very glad that we came to Professor Thomas Cech, heard his opinion about our situation and made no mistake trusting local doctors. What is important to know about discectomy?

  • A discectomy is the partial or complete removal of an intervertebral disc. The procedure allows you to get rid of a hernia of the spine.
  • The operation is safe due to the use of special surgical robots. These units calculate the optimal access to the damaged disc based on examination data and monitor the location of surgical instruments in real time. Such an operation minimizes the possibility of medical errors and subsequent complications.
  • The patient can return to normal life after discectomy in a week , if doctors perform the operation using modern sparing techniques: endoscopy and microsurgery. These methods allow you to remove the disc through 3-4 thin punctures up to 2 cm in size. In order not to damage the nerve endings and blood vessels, doctors use special optical devices that create an accurate magnified image of the structures of the spine. This discectomy is performed with minimal risk of side effects. The next day after the operation, the patient moves freely.
  • The success of discectomy depends on the experience of doctors. In the CIS countries, doctors began to perform endoscopic and microsurgical operations only a few years ago. They have been held in Europe and Israel for more than 10 years.

Bookimed has collected clinics around the world where world-class discectomy is available. The rating is formed based on the choice of our patients. You can ask all additional questions to our coordinator, who will contact you after you leave a request on the site. He will guide you on the cost of the procedure, help you choose a clinic, make an appointment with a doctor or an examination. You do not pay for Bookimed services. Find out how we work
