Professor Keil received his medical degree from the Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg, where he graduated with honors in 2004.His professional career began in Hamburg, where he gained primary experience and brilliantly defended his doctoral thesis in the Department of Radiology at the Hamburg-Alton Clinic, at that time one of the most advanced radiology centers in Germany and Europe. In 2006, Professor Kail moved to the University Hospital of Aachen, where he deepened his knowledge and skills under the guidance of the renowned Professor Rolf W. Günther.In Professor Günther's team and later under the guidance of the clinic director, Professor Christian K. Kuhl, Professor Sebastian Keil successfully applied modern imaging techniques such as ultrasound, CT and MRI to perform complex medical interventions.
