The effectiveness of kidney cancer treatment in Sourasky
- the curability of patients at the stage 1-2 of renal cell carcinoma is 70%;
- the survival rate for the stage 3A is 66%;
- the survival rate for the stages 3-B and 4 is more than 20%.
Methods of kidney cancer treatment of in Ichilov (Sourasky)
- Laparoscopic removal, cryoablation (freezing) of the tumor (at the stage 1-A);
- sectoral resection, including the da Vinci robotic-assisted system (at stage 1-2A );
- Nephrectomy, i.e. removal of affected kidney with other concerned structures;
- Embolization of target renal artery. Embolus (artificial blood clot) is introduced to restrict the blood supply to the tumor. Reduced (and weakened) colony of atypical cells are removed in a while.

The staff is great. At the moment, we are waiting for the results of the tests, since the wrong diagnosis was made in Ukraine. In Ukraine, sarcoma was treated for 7 months and it is gone. We are not saying that there is no oncology, but the fact that there is no sarcoma is already pleasing. Received very nicely and politely. The coordinators are Russian-speaking. Every day they keep track of all matters. Those who passed the tests were not left alone for a single minute. Currently, we are waiting for a meeting with an oncologist and a radiologist. I recommend
