I would thoroughly recommend this service and the Kardiolitos Clinic
The healthcare and equipment were superb. The clinic is very impressive and the staff were professional, patient and extremely attentive. All the consultants we saw provided thorough examinations, and where needed, arranged immediate tests which were either conducted on site or we were transported and escorted by the reception staff to other facilities for more complex tests. Having spent 6 frustrating years trying to get a diagnosis in the UK, we came away after 5 days at Kardiolitos finally knowing what the problems are, and how the management of those medical issues could be managed in the future. This was all made possible by Anna at Bookimed who arranged the entire trip from start to finish, together with the help of the wonderful medical coordinator, Jolita, at the clinic. They were more than happy to help with information about local accommodation and local logistics. I would thoroughly recommend this service and the Kardiolitos Clinic. Read more less

Criteria for choosing an orthopedic clinic

  • World leading orthopedists

Of great importance in the treatment of orthopedic diseases abroad is the experience of the doctor and the number of operations performed by him. It is worth paying attention to the percentage of success of surgical treatment by a particular specialist and what methods he uses. Foreign patients in foreign clinics, as a rule, are accepted by the heads of orthopedic departments.

  • Unique orthopedic equipment

Some clinics are equipped with unique technologies that are not available in other medical centers. For example, at Liv Hospital in Turkey, doctors use MakoPlasty, a robotic assistant, to replace a knee joint. And the Italian clinic Galeazzi has an EOS imaging system that allows you to create 3D full-length images of the skeleton.

  • The presence of a rehabilitation department

The advantage for a medical institution is the presence of a rehabilitation department. Almost all diseases of the musculoskeletal system require rehabilitation, regardless of whether the treatment was surgical or conservative.

I am happy with everything, the reception and everything. I didn’t get what I wanted, but in principle, everything that was possible from this reception was done to me, so I have no complaints against the doctors, except that the situation did not resolve as I wanted. In principle, I am very pleased with the reception and attention. They took a blood test from me and did it during the day and the doctor’s reception is very attentive. Bookimed always calls back, asks. Initially advised by friends and very satisfied.
