"I was extremely satisfied with everything that happened to me at this wonderful hospital"
I was extremely satisfied with everything that happened to me at this wonderful hospital. I don't think that there is a hospital in Asia which can compare with this one. From the doctors to the nurses and all other personell in this hospital ALL are competent, very polite and friendly - the only small criticism that I have is that unfortunately many don't speak English very well, that's a great shame.

Lung cancer treatment is performed at Bumrungrad Pulmonary Center. Before the assigning treatment tactic, a patient needs to undergo complete diagnostics. It takes approx. 7 days on in- or outpatient basis. Only then a team of specialists decides what treatment option is the most effective.

Such therapies can be applied: surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, targeted therapy. The most preferable is a combination therapy when several treatment variants are applied.

The treatment duration depends on the cancer stage. On average, the chemotherapy takes 2-3 months. In case of surgical intervention, a patient is hospitalized for 5-14 days. The surgery (removal of the lung part) takes up to 3 hours.
