Bookimed.com is a very good platform, and I am happy that I have found this platform. About my experience it wasnt what I was expecting, not for bookimed fault, but mostly from hospital, medical staff and assistants. Somehow I can sum it up as I was part of a very strange experience, where everything is beautiful in words, but not in reality. In the end all I have are words, maybe a little improvement on my health condition - but not a real fix, and no documents at all about my medical treatment. Read more less

Everything was organized according to time, the translator was very helpful and translated everything. But! The prices for medical services differed significantly; the translator told me one amount, but in fact they charged more in a couple of minutes. The gynecologist also promised to comment on the tests that I took on different days, but no comment was forthcoming, nor was there a response by phone.

The first time they flew to the clinic for a checkup back in March. And already at the end of May they flew in for an operation. Literally half a day to prepare for the operation, hospitalization early in the morning, European-level ward (5 star hotel). They brought a bathrobe and slippers. I just managed to put on the issued stockings, and I was already invited to the operation. The operation took 4 hours, brought immediately to the ward. Well, as usual, a departure from anesthesia, but by the evening she was already moving around. She stayed in the hospital for 2 days after the operation. This is constant monitoring by medical, middle and junior staff. There are many translators, which is very convenient. They fed not only me, but also my husband, who was nearby. Water, tea and coffee were constantly replenished. Discharged 2 days after the operation. So far so good, I'm following the doctor's recommendations. I think I made the right choice by choosing this clinic. I recommend to everyone.

Excellent experience. I traveled from Mexico to have cochlear implant surgery. First of all, I found this hospital thanks to the attention of Bookimed, they attended me very well, got the best option and started the whole process. At the beginning I was obviously a little bit afraid that everything was real and correct and with good results, it was the first time I used this kind of medical tourism. I searched many countries and options and found the best deal through Bookimed at Hisar Hospital in Istanbul at the best price. Now that it's all over, I am pleasantly surprised and grateful to everyone who took care of me. I am impressed with how well they have organized everything for international patients. From the transportation, to the airport-hotel-airport, hotel-hospital-hotel, in all the appointments I had, more than 3 times in two weeks. The international department assigned me one and sometimes two translators, all were very well behaved, Dr. Yabuz Selim very attentive and professional, the hospital was excellent, the package included two nights accommodation in a room with two rooms, and meals for patient and companion. Pre-operative studies, post-operative follow-up, and only the agreed amount was paid from the beginning, not a dollar more we had to pay. I had never had this experience in a hospital before. The whole procedure was fast and without complications, they checked me 3 more times without any problem. They helped me resolve all my doubts and concerns, always with excellent response through whatsapp. I sincerely recommend and thank everyone involved in Hisar Hospital. I hope I never have to go back, but if I need to, I will not even look elsewhere.

I would like to express my gratitude to all the staff of the clinic for their professionalism, care and attention! From the moment of the first consultation to the discharge, I felt I was in safe hands. The doctors explained in detail all the stages of the operation, answered all my questions and supported me morally. The operation was successful and the recovery was much easier than I expected thanks to the competent recommendations of the specialists. The medical staff was always there to help and monitor my condition. I would especially like to note the individual approach and friendly attitude - in such an atmosphere you feel like a dear guest rather than a patient. Now I feel much better and I am already starting to see the first positive results. Thank you for my new life! I recommend the clinic to everyone who wants to solve the problem of excess weight safely and effectively. I would like to thank the coordinator Olga and Dr Alaattin Ozturk for their incredible professionalism and support! Olga was in touch with me from the very beginning and helped me with the organisation of all stages - from consultations to rehabilitation. Thanks to her attentiveness and care I felt calm and confident. All questions were solved promptly, and her friendliness and helpfulness made the preparation process comfortable. Dr Alaattin Ozturk is a true master of his craft! His confidence, professional approach and attentive attitude inspired full confidence. The operation went perfectly and the post-operative period was carefully monitored. He was always ready to give advice and support on the way to a new life. Thank you so much for your care, warmth and professionalism! Thanks to you, this important step became easier and more confident for me!

Hi, I'm Cella, and I’m living in Bali, Indonesia. I’d like to share an honest review based on my experience of finding a medical coordinator, a doctor, and a hospital for my case. I was recently diagnosed with an ovarian cyst and stage 4 endometriosis, which required surgery as soon as possible. I was initially hospitalized in Bali, but the doctor there suggested I look for a better-equipped hospital as they didn’t have the necessary facilities to perform my surgery. It wasn’t easy to find the right care on a small island like Bali. Thankfully, my best friend helped me connect with a medical manager from Bookimed. That’s how we found Alisher, the medical manager and Prof. Dr. A Cem Iyibozkurt from Florence Nightingale Hospital in Istanbul. We arranged an online consultation with the doctor, which was free of charge, I already have all my medical records and MRI results before an online consultation, I’ve prepared everything to speed up the process. and within a week, they scheduled my laparoscopic robotic surgery. Alisher did an excellent job coordinating everything, and I couldn’t be happier with him. Prof. Dr. Cem Iyibozkurt is an amazing doctor, highly experienced, and well-known for his expertise in the field. The hospital itself was fantastic—the nurses and staff took great care of me. I’m really grateful for the smooth process, and I highly recommend them to anyone who may be in a similar situation and looking for this kind of care and has similar situation as mine.

Smart automatic ranking system

We form our listings of clinics and doctors with strict regulations of our smart automatic ranking system. The system is based on real Bookimed patient rates to provide the most objective and transparent information about clinics and medical services there.

Our experienced data scientist collects data daily, monitors and optimizes the ranking system using machine learning and artificial intelligence to ensure that the ranking system is up-to-date and provides accurate results.

Real people's experience only

We collect the opinions of Bookimed clients only after getting medical experience with the clinic — so everyone on the platform can trust the facility they choose. We strive to make the content on our platform as useful as possible and ensure the freedom to express critical opinions. Thus, we publish positive and negative reviews, aiming at being a source for informed decision-making for our future clients.

Topics with high levels of expertise, authority, and trustworthiness

On Bookimed.com you may find choice and convenience to find the best medical solutions from top medical services providers just in one place, and often at competitive prices. Making sure to deliver the freshest information, the clinic’s representatives update doctors’ CVs, clinics’ capacities, before-after pictures, prices, packages, and specials by themselves shortly. You may meet the clinic’s representative and check the date of updated content at every clinic’s page to make sure of its trustworthiness.

Our blog and supportive pieces are created by professional authors with at least 3-year experience in medical writing and edited by medical specialists with relevant clinical and research expertise — all carefully recruited to the team. We strive to enhance patient access to health information, making it expert but easy to understand. All pieces follow the Bookimed’s Editorial Guidelines.
