I am 60 years old, and I travelled to Istanbul for a Deep Plane Facelift and a lower and upper Blepharoplasty.

Turkey is a safe place to travel, it is safer than Paris, Milan or Manhattan. I never felt in danger in Istanbul.
From the moment I arrived at Lokman Hekim Hospital, everything was taken care of by Ismael Ali, who is an easy going and friendly translator.
The pre-operative test were done as soon as I arrived.
The day after I met Doctor Murat Yaman who is a friendly and open person. Before travelling to Istanbul I checked his background and found him to be a very good and competent surgeon. So, on that day I was relaxed for the surgery because I knew I was going to be in good hands.
The work he did on me was outstanding. I am still in the healing process. My eyes are a bit irritated, but that is normal. My face is still a bit swollen but it no longer hangs. My face has changed expression from appearing to be sad or angry to reflecting a normal emotion.
A big thanks to the Lokman Hekim Hospital staff some of them spoke a little bit of English others were fluent but all of them were caring, kind, super friendly and always ready to help.

If I had a choice, I would contact the same surgeon and the same clinic
I had plastic surgery on the upper and lower eyelids. I can describe my experience as follows: an absolute feeling of safety and comfort throughout the provision of the service. Compassionate staff, talented surgeon, modern equipment and techniques. And subsequent support, which is also very important. If I had a choice, I would contact the same surgeon and the same clinic. On the upper eyelids the seams are very neat, on the lower eyelids I couldn’t find them at all. I was surprised that manipulations with blood (taking analyses, treatment of stitches after surgery) are carried out without disposable gloves, for this a huge minus. Consultations with the doctor were also very fast, he was always in a hurry. I had a lot of questions, but half of them remained unanswered. He does his job, but especially does not explain or tell anything. For me this is also a disadvantage.

The staff at the hospital where I was operated on was terrible, they didn’t even give me water on the day after the operation, the next day the translator told me that water was paid, that’s why they didn’t give me water, it’s terrible, the consultation with the doctor lasted a total of 5 minutes and 5 minutes before the operation. After the operation, I was left alone in the hospital, there was no support from the hospital staff, after the anesthesia, the translator asked me 15 times if I wanted to go to the hotel, but I could barely lift my head from the pillow, in the morning I was somehow able to get up, I was very dizzy, I was in a terrible state for 3 days, no one asked about my well-being, 2 weeks had passed since the day of the operation, after leaving home, the doctor was no longer interested in how my nose was, whether I was okay. I don’t like the result so far, the doctor only removed the hump, but the nose remained just as big, I’ll see after some time, maybe it will shrink, which I doubt. I signed almost all the documents in Turkish and English, they gave me recommendations for care on the day of departure when they were no longer needed, when I asked why they answered me in English, so you’ll just learn it.

While I am still on the rehabilitation period at home, tomorrow is a week after the operation and check-up with the doctor. I had liposuction of the abdomen and sides + Brazilian buttocks lift + breast lift, all in one day. The first 3-4 days of rehabilitation are the hardest, but then much easier, the staff / help / service at the highest level, doctor Ergin Er - a doctor from God, I advise everyone, a professional of his work!!!!. I will post photos after at least a month, but the forms are visually visible and pleasing to the eye!!!! I came here to enlarge my breasts by transferring fat from my legs to my breasts. They increased but not as much as I wanted ( They were beautiful when there was swelling after the surgery. But after three days everything was gone and I saw the final result. Although in two weeks they may not become even smaller…)
I highly recommend girls to do implants and not waste their time and money on fat that may eventually disappear completely if you do gym etc .

I was nervous travelling to a different country where I don’t know the language for this operation. Also this surgeon and hospital was about 20% cheaper than other offers and I hoped that wouldn’t be reflected in the quality of care. I shouldn’t have worried! I felt taken care of the whole time. Good evening. My name is Anna. I will start my story with the fact that I am not the first time I come to Turkey to correct some nuances in myself. That is, there is something to compare!
The first person I want to talk about is Dr Aykut. He is a professional, I would say a fan, he lives and breathes his work. From the first meeting with a banal Hallo to the marking before surgery from Dr Aykut one positive and kindness. He has incredible energy and love for his work. My plans for the operation were global on this visit, but they were not to be fulfilled. During the operation my blood pressure jumped to 150 and fluctuated during 3 hours from 90 to 150 - it was decided by the anaesthesiologist and the doctor to stop the operation. As a result, only liposuction of the abdomen 360 degrees and chin correction was performed.
Secondly is of course the company Dr Mad and his staff. Everything was organised initially through Bookingmed, prices and conditions were agreed with them at the beginning. As soon as we arrived in Turkey we were organised a comfortable transfer to the hotel. In the morning we had a lovely interpreter, Lara, who was with us for the whole 7 days of our stay in Turkey. Very competent staff, the night after the operation I was cared for by two nurses who every hour I put a drip of different medicines and brought me food and water. It was very nice to see Larochka who was on call 24/7.
In the third hotel and hotel staff, very attentive and responsive. At any request it was always, quickly and without unnecessary conversations. I had breakfast in the room the first 4 days as it was hard to walk me. Even on the second day they brought me soup in my room in the evening in the hotel, which was especially nice. Thank you to your team DOCTOR MED for your professional approach. RECOMMEND.

I am leaving a detailed review covering four procedures I’m from the U.K. I had a Rhinoplasty, Blepharoplasty, deep plane neck and lower face lift on 29th December 2024 with Dr Ali SADIOGLU.
Whilst my overall results can’t yet be seen I would like to tell you what I can for now. Dr Ali SADIOGLU has a professional approach to his work but remains compassionate, empathetic and respectful to your needs and wishes. He listens to what you are saying and discusses any concerns, issues and questions that you have about your procedure. He advises you. He is truthful about the results that you could achieve.
The pre procedure coordinator, Defne, was invaluable. Her services before arriving in Istanbul were excellent. Fluent English is spoken and no question was too much for her to deal with and answer promptly. Without Defne and her attention to the detail of my potential booking I would not have booked. Well done Defne.
My procedure coordinator and my English speaking contact in Istanbul was Elif. The wonderful, professional, never tiring, always available Elif. She was amazing. Elif attended all my appointments with me. Travelled in the taxis with me but remained professional. She ensured that there were no issues with translation (despite my surgeon speaking excellent English) 5*’s for service and patience.
*RHINOPLASTY*
Having a Rhinoplasty at 57yrs old concerned me. Dr Ali SADIOGLU Explained in detail exactly what he thought would look best for my face. I put my entire trust in him and the end product was AMAZING. My new nose was unveiled a week after surgery. IT WAS PERFECT. I can’t thank Dr Ali SADIOGLU enough. Since arriving back in the U.K. friends and family have described my nose as beautiful and whilst I would not use that word usually about myself, it’s a truly beautiful nose.
*BLEPHAROPLASTY*
Dr Ali SADIOGLU explained how he could improve the look of my eyes with a small procedure. The micro detail in this small area needed the skills of Dr Ali SADIOGLU. I no longer look tired. Again, I am so pleased that I put my trust in him.
*DEEP PLANE NECK AMD LOWER FACE LIFT*
My research lead me to Dr Ali SADIOGLU and I am pleased that it did. My final outcome won’t be seen for a few months so I will review the first two weeks.
Prior to meeting Dr Ali SADIOGLU I sent photos and a description of what I thought I wanted to achieve and he carried out a remote consultation. When I met Dr Ali SADIOGLU, we went through a detailed consultation in person. He answered all my questions and addressed all my concerns. He explained where the incision lines would be and described the deep plane process in detail. I was confident the I was Dr Ali SADIOGLU‘s next patient.
Surgery went well. Dr Ali SADIOGLU visited me after surgery and also the next day. The care by him and his team was exceptional. All the aftercare was explained clearly. Moving on to the result…. I write this review at 2 weeks post op. My stitches are where Dr Ali SADIOGLU said they would be and are healing nicely. Whilst my face is swollen still, I can see its new tighter, younger and smoother look. Everything is as it should be at this stage. People have told me that I already look 15 years younger.
I’m sorry for the length of the review but Dr Ali SADIOGLU deserves this review. He is an amazing surgeon. Someone previously described him as having ‘magic hands’. He most certainly has.
I promise to you that I will update this review as time goes by so you have the full picture.

I liked the ease of getting things in order for surgery. I had any question I had answered in a timely manor. The translator was very helpful and personable. I never had to worry about getting a question answered or a response from my assistant. The dr was amazing and very professional and great expertise. The only thing I was uncomfortable with is the pain. I’m considered by several drs to have a high pain tolerance and I was in a lot of pain. Let’s consider though I did have multiple surgeries but they are very stingy with any pain meds. The first day was torture. The rest of my experience was amazing outside of that one day though.

My Dear Anastasia and Amed ( sorry if I speak wrong ) they are great ! Anastasia , kind , professional abs she was my first contact with this great clinic ! From the first contact she was looking after me so well ! Airport transfer , communication , tips , looking after me at the clinic until my last minute at the airport making sure that everything was well ! I have to say that I am so please that I choose the best clinic with all those good professionals ! I am feeling great , everything went so well and I am keeping in touch sending my photos progress ! I liked the systematic approach to work in the clinic, the attitude of the doctor, interpreters, nurses, organisation of meals and accuracy in repeat appointments, organisation of airport transfers, etc.

Dr. Leyla Arvas was graduated from Istanbul University Medical Faculty in 1998 and started her Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery specialization. During her educational period she worked in well-known clinics and hospitals in different countries.
She had studied microsurgery (reconstruction of head and neck, breast) in Taiwan Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, which is one of the best microsurgery centers in the world.
She worked in TWMU Hospital in Tokyo, and experienced about Laser treatments for acne, hyperpigmentations, wound scars, wrinkles and acne scars.
She had been a fellow in IDB (Instituto Javier de Benito) in Barcelona, Spain and actively studied in the clinic especially on face and breast aesthetics. She attended the Silhouette Lift and Silhouette Soft meetings several times in Barcelona and has been using the technique for four years.
After she finished the speciality as a plastic surgeon she began to work in Yeditepe University Hospital as an Assistant Professor of Plastic Surgery in Istanbul.
She worked in Fulya Jinemed Hospital and performed aesthetic operations especially for international patients.
She became a plastic surgery consultant in Bosphorus Anatomica Plastic Surgery Center in 2011 and performed different aesthetic operations and minimal invasive procedures like Botox, filler injections, mesotherapies, Laser treatments, chemical peelings and thread lifts.
She worked in her private office at Cosmed Clinic in Istanbul from 2012 to 2015 and then she has launched her own office in 2015 at Quartz Clinic. She has been performing surgeries in well-qualified hospitals like Taksim Acıbadem Hospital in the europian side of Istanbul.
She is expert in Rhinoplasty, Bepharoplasty, Face Lifts (endoscopic face lifts), Liposuction, Breast Lift-Augmentation-Reduction and Tummy Tuck procedures named as body shaping procedures.
