A huge thank you to the doctors
The crown fell on vacation. I had to think about going to the dentist. In addition, she knew about two teeth waiting for their seals. But I did not want to waste time on treatment. I contacted Bookimed. And within a couple of days their coordinator, Dmitry Belik, found a suitable option - the Dentakademi clinic in Istanbul. Dmitry contacted the clinic and agreed on everything. I have only to fly. The coordinator of the clinic arranged for me a free transfer from the airport and back, and this is neither more nor less, more than an hour by car. In the clinic, too, I was not left for a minute, everything was organized clearly and without unnecessary red tape - first an x-ray, a visit to the orthodontist, where I was slightly upset that the root should be removed. Then a visit to the surgeon, who told his opinion about the fate of the tooth - pull out the root, later the implant and the crown. Then go to the doctor who sealed all the holes. There were six of them! At the same time, in conclusion, he still cleaned the stones and bleached them. The whole procedure took an hour - ten, no more. Then a heart-wrenching visit back to the surgeon to leave the root of the tooth. As a result, it became clear that an infection was starting to develop, which was not visible either on the x-ray or in the visual examination. And that's all. Airport transfer. All the time in the clinic took about four hours. Very pleased with the qualifications of doctors. For some reason, when I think about their work, I remember a video on the Internet about the virtuoso cooks. So sharp, fast and precise movements were with my doctors. A huge thank you to them. Thanks to the coordinator of the clinic. I did not feel abandoned for a single minute and not wanted in a foreign country! I am from Denmark. I am visiting the clinic for the second time with various dental problems and also aesthetics. I was always met at the airport on time and even with flowers. I was accommodated in a good hotel with breakfast included and paid for - this is also important. Transportation from the hotel to the clinic and back or, if desired, to any point in Izmir. In the clinic, translators are always nearby who participate in the treatment process and answer all questions. Doctors (young) work quickly and efficiently. There are also dental technicians who quickly make crowns - literally before your eyes. Teeth scanning is also done in the clinic. The atmosphere is very friendly, relaxed. There are a lot of clients from different countries with whom it is pleasant to discuss common problems. After completing the work, clients receive a quality guarantee - for 5 years in my case. I rate the organisation of the treatment five points out of five! I have no complaints about the medical staff and the quality of treatment so far and I hope I will not have any later. The only thing that marred the overall good impression was that initially I was promised a jaw of 14 teeth and the price was calculated accordingly. When taking impressions, I specified how many teeth I was told 14, and silently put 12 and did not inform me, I immediately noticed myself and I was refunded the money for the missing teeth. In addition, in the process of treatment it turned out that I need to install 2 implants and three crowns in another place and I paid for this work, but only at home I found out that I instead of 3 teeth installed only 2. I informed the administrator Natalia about this two days ago, but I still haven't received any answer from her and no refund of the overpaid amount. It is a pity that the good work of specialists is overshadowed by such circumstances. And if the administration of the clinic behaved differently, I would recommend this clinic to all my friends all over the world, of whom I have many, with a clean soul and a great desire. For me this was worth every penny
I visited the clinic from the UK to have 28 crowns. I have to admit I was sceptical. Mavidenta clinic stood out to me for fairness and reviews so I followed this through with them. Bookimed was consistent and answered all my questions prior offering support. The clinic connected me and made all the arrangements including transfers from the airport to the clinic and hotel. I booked my hotel separately as I wanted self catering and an apartment. I made sure I was within a close travel distance to the clinic. When I arrived at the clinic I was met by a translator who explained everything. I met with the Dr who was truly an expert in her field. The clinic was spotlessly clean , modern and staff were also the same. I discussed my treatment plan again at the clinic as it appeared I would need some root canal work and filling which were additional. I also upgraded the quality of the crowns. I paid half of the treatment up front and reserved the rest for the end. The treatment took 6 days and I was at the clinic 5 of the days. Total time at the clinic each day would range from 1hr too 5hrs. I was given prescriptions for antibiotics and pain relief. The entire process was reflective of the cost and quality. The clinic was not the cheapest nor the most expensive but it was and did deliver a high quality finish and service. I don't believe you could get much better. If your hesitant about visiting don't be. For me this was worth every penny. Tips and things to be aware of: If your paying by debit or credit card you will need to pay local tax. If you pay cash you don't. Don't expect this to be a pain free process. It's dental work. However the clinic and staff are super professional and your given pain relief. Allow yourself a few days extra at the end of the treatment so if there are any complications you can sort them out and allow yourself time to enjoy parts of the city at the same time. Try and book accommodation close to the rail network or within a 30 min walk. I express my sincere gratitude to Bookimed, in particular to the medical coordinator on the Bookimed platform Christina and the coordinator of the SoracaMed clinic in Antalya and translator Valeria. I went to Antalya on a tourist trip to Turkey. I only had 2 days in Antalya. And Christina was able to quickly find me a dental clinic in Antalya. I needed a crown placed on an implant. And Valeria, many thanks to her, was able to quickly come to an agreement with Dr. Göksel Kalyaz. Our tourist group arrived in Antalya in the evening of March 20th. At a time convenient for me, a term was immediately assigned that same evening. By the time I arrived, the abutment needed for the implant I had installed had been found. I arrived at the clinic late, but Valeria and the doctor were waiting for me. All procedures necessary to make the crown were performed. And on March 21, at 15:00, the crown was made and I was assigned a term at that time. I had a crown installed. There was no inflammation or pain after the crown was installed. Everything is simply amazing. Once again, many thanks to Christina, Valeria and Dr. Göksel Kalyaz for their professionalism. The organization of the transfer from the hotel to the clinic is also very well established (no need to wait for a bunch of people) finished and you were taken. My doctor was very meticulous and did his job painlessly. I communicated with the doctor through the translator Dinara, who was 24/7 for me. I really liked it, I advise. I am satisfied with the result.

Excellent experience. I traveled from Mexico to have cochlear implant surgery. First of all, I found this hospital thanks to the attention of Bookimed, they attended me very well, got the best option and started the whole process. At the beginning I was obviously a little bit afraid that everything was real and correct and with good results, it was the first time I used this kind of medical tourism. I searched many countries and options and found the best deal through Bookimed at Hisar Hospital in Istanbul at the best price. Now that it's all over, I am pleasantly surprised and grateful to everyone who took care of me. I am impressed with how well they have organized everything for international patients. From the transportation, to the airport-hotel-airport, hotel-hospital-hotel, in all the appointments I had, more than 3 times in two weeks. The international department assigned me one and sometimes two translators, all were very well behaved, Dr. Yabuz Selim very attentive and professional, the hospital was excellent, the package included two nights accommodation in a room with two rooms, and meals for patient and companion. Pre-operative studies, post-operative follow-up, and only the agreed amount was paid from the beginning, not a dollar more we had to pay. I had never had this experience in a hospital before. The whole procedure was fast and without complications, they checked me 3 more times without any problem. They helped me resolve all my doubts and concerns, always with excellent response through whatsapp. I sincerely recommend and thank everyone involved in Hisar Hospital. I hope I never have to go back, but if I need to, I will not even look elsewhere.

Surgery in Turkey, I am 60 years old, and I travelled to Istanbul for a Deep Plane Facelift and a lower and upper Blepharoplasty. Bookimed, I am so grateful to you, I could not have made this journey without your assistance. Thank you very much for your guidance and patience. I hope I did not give you a hard time. Turkey is a safe place to travel, it is safer than Paris, Milan or Manhattan. I never felt in danger in Istanbul. From the moment I arrived at Lokman Hekim Hospital, everything was taken care of by Ismael Ali, who is an easy going and friendly translator. The pre-operative test were done as soon as I arrived. The day after I met Doctor Murat Yaman who is a friendly and open person. Before travelling to Istanbul I checked his background and found him to be a very good and competent surgeon. So, on that day I was relaxed for the surgery because I knew I was going to be in good hands. The work he did on me was outstanding. I am still in the healing process. My eyes are a bit irritated, but that is normal. My face is still a bit swollen but it no longer hangs. My face has changed expression from appearing to be sad or angry to reflecting a normal emotion. A big thanks to the Lokman Hekim Hospital staff some of them spoke a little bit of English others were fluent but all of them were caring, kind, super friendly and always ready to help.

My experience at turkeyana was traumatic, which is why I'm just now sharing my experience, 4 months after the surgery. I went there for a breast reduction and would never do it again. The medical team was the worst. Unfriendly, unprofessional und unkind. I woke up from the surgery right away in the op room, because I have a naturally high tolerance in narcotics (which I told them in advance). When I woke up I tried to sit up, as I wasn't remembering why I was there, I tried 3 times, they would push me down and the third time on of the nurses gave me a hard slap in my face. I was not taken seriously at any time, later nurses would laugh at me when I asked for more pain meds, due to me metabolizing such faster than other patients, I was in enormous pain for 24h straight. Crying and screaming out of pain. Nobody of the care team in the hospital spoke english, they understood the word pain meds tho, but instead they simply gave me a hidrating solution and told me it was morphins, even tho I could read on the bag that it wasn't.When I left the clinic I got no instructions on how to clean the wounds, nor did I get an antibioticscream. They said to just leave the bandaids on until the check up. I had my check up 5 days after the surgery, on a Monday and they didn't even check the doctor who operated on me didn't even show up. so another woman appeared, she didn't check the wounds, only touched the boobs. She left me with the bandaids on, said everything was fine and left the room. The younger too women who were with me in the room, case managers I guess, then asked me to take the bandaids off, so I did. They wanted to take pictures of the result. Afterwards I asked them to clean the wounds. The woman who did it wasn't going to put on gloves if I hadn't told her, and even I could tell she was doing a poor job at cleaning the wounds. When I got back to Switzerland two days later, on Wednesday, I ran straight to my doctor and she told me that my wounds were heavily infected, which eventually resulted in ugly scaring. at turkeyana they told me the threads would come out after 2 weeks, which they didn't. My Swiss doctor had to take them out manually because they were still there after 4 weeks, impeding the healing and maintaining the infection. I was walking around with bandaids and infected wounds until 5 weeks after the surgery. In the sixth week the wounds had finally closed, if you can call it that, because ghrough the infection ghey had grown wide open. I also got a bichetomia done there, on which they also told me the threads would dissolve, but they didn't. I had to go to a dentist to cut them open because they were cutting into the flesh in my mouth. and causing an infection on the inside of my cheeks, which I also had to get treated in Switzerland. Turkeyana is a poor lead, money hungry company who doesn't care about the wellbeing of their patients. they act nice until you've paid and had the surgery, and after that they treat you like trash. 0/10, don't recommend. If you don't want to traumatized, don't go there. I wan't my money back.

We thank Fizyomer Clinic for the attention to our family, for the kind and responsive staff, for the professional approach to the treatment of our baby Michelle, we thank every employee of the hospital for their invaluable work, for choosing the profession of helping disabled people, for the organisation of everything: daily transfer, excellent hotel in the room kitchen where you can prepare home-cooked food for your child, as well as excellent two meals a day with delivery to the ward in the hospital, but most importantly it is an attitude of love to your child and the experience of the physiotherapists: D The most important thing is that it brought us great joy to see the progress in the treatment of our baby Michelle. All the staff work as one friendly team. The hospital also offers various cosmetic procedures as well as the installation of implants in a short period of time with the help of laser technology.
