Pediatric Cardiovascular Surgeon Born in 1961, Prof. Emin Tireli, M.D., completed secondary and high school educations in İzmir Atatürk High School. He started medical education in School of Medicine, Ege University in 1980. He was awarded the title “Medical Doctor” in 1986. He started specialty education in Cardiovascular Surgery Department, Istanbul School of Medicine, Istanbul University in 1987. He was awarded the title “Cardiovascular Surgeon” in 1993. He was awarded the title “Associate Professor” in 1997 following his studies on the same chair. Dr. Emin Tireli was awarded the title “Professor” in 2005 and he still works as a faculty member in Cardiovascular Surgery Department, Istanbul School of Medicine.
