We would strongly recommend this team to any foreigner visiting Turkey for treatment
I landed on Bookimed while searching for further treatment.. One Dr.Hilal got in touch with me and guided me through the different options available to us. We eventually settled on Florence nightingale hospital and immediately got in touch with Alişer, who walked with us through our preparation and arrival in Turkey as well as the hospital visits. He was kind enough to guide us on what was expected and was always available even at odd hours . The doctors at the Hosp led by Prof Elle and Prof Yusef, treated us with utmost professionalism. They calmly guided us through the process and made us understand what we are dealing with. They were not quick to rush into any interventions.. we felt very safe in their hands. A special thanks to Simaza our interpreter, you are a wonderful human being. Blessings lady. To The Professors, all medical professionals at the hospital, we are grateful. Hilal, Alişer and Simaza you the best. We would strongly recommend this team to any foreigner visiting Turkey for treatment.. we were happy! Blessings Read more less

I had a very positive experience throughout my whole journey to get surgery in BCN. I was led to Dr. Conesa who was professional, attentive, caring, and . I felt completely confident in his skills and ability. He made himself available to speak to me at anytime before and after surgery, which was so appreciated. The hospital care was exemplary, it was impressive how quickly I moved through the preoperative visits, blood work, X-rays, anesthesia visit etc. Post op care was great. I had a very positive experience all the way through. I can recommend, BookiMed 100% who helped navigate the process . Read more less

They brought our boy back to life
From the bottom of our hearts we would like to express our gratitude to our doctor Ilhan Elmachi and his whole team. We are from Uzbekistan and when we were diagnosed with arteriovenous malformation we realised that this is the most complicated pathology of brain neurosurgery. Our boy is only 17 years old and therefore it is understandable what grief fell on us. But thanks to the clinic manager Florence Alisher, we came across our respected doctor. The operation lasted 17 hours. Two days later our boy was already in the ward. 15 days later we were home. Our boy is healthy Ilhan Elmachi is a high professional. THANK YOU for the sensitive and caring attitude to us doctor and his team and nurses They brought our boy back to life. Such people are like stars in the desert gave us hope. All health and success in science. May Allah protect you. Read more less

I had some logistical problems leading up to my arrival, but i got great help from translator whom helped me throughout my stay, with translations as well as guiding me through the stepps by Wassim. He really did a great job with helping me understand and setting up everything as much as possible to enable me to have as much of a successful productive visit as I could, which I very much appreciate. Never come to the Artemis Clinic, treating patients is not worth the money paid, especially beware of an interpreter named Zhey. Firstly, he has very poor Russian language, never translates as it should, moreover, he was not present after the operation, while the patient was in intensive care, appeared three days after the operation with an invoice for payment in excess of the previously agreed amount. When we told him that his work did not suit us, he replied that these were our problems and we could go to another clinic, and the hospital would not fully refund the money paid to us. By the way, before we paid $ 6000 to the cash desk of the hospital, everyone was very polite with us including the interpreter Jay, and promised that they would take us to the operation the next day, but after payment it was as if everyone had changed, they started to be rude and rude especially to Zhey. They pulled the operation as best they could despite the terrible pain of the patient. Another translator, Ishvar, was a pleasant person with good knowledge of the Russian language. We wanted him, but for some reason we were not allowed, besides we heard that he was forbidden to help us and he already stopped answering our calls. So if you came to India for treatment it’s better to go to another clinic, but if you did come to Artemis when they will provide you with an interpreter, in no case do you agree to the services of an interpreter JAY! All consultations were organised in a highly professional manner with the necessary preparation
We received several counselling sessions and a proposal for treatment. All consultations were organised in a highly professional manner with the necessary preparation. We liked very much the approach of the counsellors. Convenient way of providing the necessary information and documentation, constant communication with the consultants and prompt responses, as well as the organisation of online meetings. All submitted documents were analysed by the doctor before the consultation, we received comprehensive answers to all the questions we had, as well as very important recommendations for additional examination. Only one minor disadvantage: during one of the consultations the connection was interrupted several times, but it did not affect the final result, the connection was restored and all unclear related issues were solved by repeated discussion. In childhood and old age you perceive reality as a fairy tale. A fairy tale as a reality. In these ages, and the pain is felt somehow completely unbearable. Yesterday, I still suffered, but today, at least on the wall. In old age you become overgrown with connections in every sense. For any reason there is the best-inventor specialist. But suddenly, it helps everyone, and alas, you. The pain devastates the pockets and turns the soul. All life is reduced to overcoming its Luminaries of medicine shrug And you understand, while you are still sitting, the pain is silent. Having exhausted our local professional resource, the son turned to Bookimed It turns out that there is such a wonderful organization that finds the best specialist in the fairy tale, who once again inspires you. If I had been told this, I would have laughed. But the whole last year I was sick. The pain followed everywhere And that organization finds a clinic in Barcelona, in the clinic of a surgeon with an ancient Spanish name and with the latest approaches He talked to me on Skype And then - the road And then 6 hours of picking at me Yes, so that after waking up from anesthesia, I worried about when they start the operation Doctors and nurses work as a well-established mechanism I know that a bad comparison, but the impression that you are in production. I understand, "the Soviet have their own pride" But pain pah-pah gone And for me, the patient, the main thing so she doesn't Returned. Now I know who will find the one who will relieve from pain-bookimed! I can only say thank you for organizing the trip, for the clinic, for the doctors .... for all the wonderful people who know how to understand and sympathize, and do their work with dignity. And Dr. Oliver Abadan Bartolomeo is just a magician. Thank you again. As long as it hurts, you can’t think about anything, but once you let it go, you are a public unit. I hats off to professionals. I am always grateful. Alexander Katsev, Doctor of Philology, Professor, Academician

Hello, my name is Vladislav Ivanov, Ukraine, Odessa city. In February 2021, my daughter Vlada was diagnosed with anaplastic ependymoma, we went to the doctors for a week trying to find out why the child started having severe headaches. They went through examinations, did an MRI, and as a fact, they found a brain tumor. That's when the ground slipped from under my feet. Realization has come - this has already happened, which means you need to quickly take action. The first thing we did was go to the children's hospital in Kyiv, the child was given a shunt. But unfortunately, fluid began to collect in my head and my vision began to fall sharply. The doctors explained that an operation was urgently needed. We did not have a large accumulated amount, and we decided to complete the operation abroad. We contacted Bookmed. We contacted the employee Marina. Marina quickly found a clinic for us in Turkey, organized a trip for us, flew to Turkey in a matter of days. The hospital was already waiting for us. Examined, took blood for tests and the next day an operation was scheduled. Everything went well. Then they underwent a course of radiotherapy. The results are positive, we were sent home to Ukraine (August 2021). Every 3 months they underwent MRI, the pictures were good .. But a year later, in March 2022, we heard the terrible words “relapse”, “war”. Hastily collected the necessary documents and left for Lviv. From there, by large buses, all children with cancer began to be taken out along the humanitarian corridor from Ukraine to Europe. The daughter and his wife were assigned to France. A second operation was performed, the tumor was removed, and after that a course of chemotherapy was prescribed. After a month of taking the course, the doctor said that chemotherapy was not helping. The doctor suggested experimental chemotherapy, but that didn't help either. As a result, the daughter is getting worse and worse every day. The child began to walk badly, the right leg and handle practically do not work. The child melted before my eyes. It's all very scary, but it's worse to leave Vlad without an opportunity for treatment. I again turned to Marina Bookmed Marina again very quickly found us a hospital in Turkey, helped us with the flight Paris Istanbul. Arrived at the hospital 2 days later, the operation was successful!!! After the operation, the child began to talk, swallow, and after a couple of days to walk. What I want to say Bookmed in particular Marina Provided us with moral support documentary for the second time at the highest level. Marina many thanks to you and your team THANK YOU.

Good afternoon! We are from Kyrgyzstan! We applied to the clinic through the bookimed website. The coordinator Anastasia was very helpful, everything was organised very clearly, we were never disappointed. The clinic itself is impressive in terms of scale, cleanliness and quality of service, the staff is friendly and attentive. Our interpreter Lamia worked with us, coordinated our logistics around the clinic, tried to ensure timely appointments with doctors, she was very comfortable and easy to communicate with. But, there was a moment with the examination: we were referred to MRI, the procedure was quite long, the room was quite cold, so I was very cold. As a recommendation - it would be good to warn patients about the need to maintain a certain temperature regime in this room and somehow provide comfort as much as possible. Overall, we are very satisfied with our visit to this clinic, the patient management tactics and we have a follow-up visit planned in 3 months.

My Mum had a neurological check-up. We are very grateful that finally the problem with headaches has been solved! For more than two years, doctors of clinics in Europe and Ukraine, could not solve this issue, prescribing antidepressants, etc. Arrived at the clinic at 8:50 am, without delay was provided, very nice interpreter Irada. We promptly took analyses, MRI, ultrasound, consultation with a competent neurologist who paid attention to the problem that was causing the headaches for a long time. I was very satisfied with the overall service. The medical team was top. Everything clear, the medical was fluent in English which made our understanding of the problem much better. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Absolutely satisfied with Bookimed services. Both Angelina and Daria were very helpful, eager to assist. The Bookimed agent that waited for us at the clinic was very polite and also very dedicated. We had a fluid situation in requirement to see another doctor after the one that we had planned and the agent helped us and made it possible within 30 minutes. I would absolutely recommend Bookimed to everyone.

I'll start my review with Bookimed. Indeed, the guys helped a lot, in particular, Anton, Barbara, Nazrin. From the moment I turned to them, they tirelessly contacted me and provided all third-party support. Meeting, doctor's consultation and after. Really guys thank you! We agreed with Anton that we would go for a consultation at Liv Hospital. Special thanks to you. Now for the Liv Hospital itself. We turned to this hospital with an MRI scan - signs of osteochondrosis of the thoracic spine. The central protrusion of the VTh3 - VTh4 disk and vertebral bodies with marginal suspensions, the height of the vertebral bodies is preserved. End plates of vertebral bodies with clear, even contours. In the vertebral bodies Th2 (10mm), Th5 (10mm), Th10 (23mm), Th11 (3mm) and L1 (5mm), round sections with hyper-intense T1 and T2 HI signal characteristics (hemangiomas) are determined. We were prescribed a doctor Chagatai Ozturk. From acquaintances, from reviews and after talking with the doctor, I realized that the doctor is quite a professional in his field. Pros: 1. Modern hospital 2. Attention to the patient is good. 3. Amiable doctor 4. Well done consultants. Cons: 1. Very, well, very expensive treatment in relation to other hospitals in Turkey. For example, Memorial, Azhibadem, Medicana 2. Careful attention to the patient is a maximum of 10-15 minutes. After this time has passed, it seems that the doctor has lost interest in you and begins to engage in others on his computer. (at least I noticed this in relation to us) 3. Does not give other variations of the treatment although this could be given. Since having looked at our MRI remotely, Liv hospital sent us an invoice, we expected that after a live examination, the doctor would offer us other treatment options. 4. The doctor is very honest with the patient. He directly told us that after the operation does not guarantee that we will return to our previous health and will feel like an 18 year old healthy person. I do not know how much this psychologically affects the patient. For example, it negatively affected us or not. 5. We were offered to have an operation the amount of which amounted to $ 23,000 plus treatment and stay in Turkey for 15 days would cost us all this about $ 30,000. For this amount we were offered in Israel and Germany, and in India 3 times cheaper. We asked for a breakdown of this amount, which is included here. Unfortunately, they said they could not give it. I could not understand why. Then we asked to give us a price for hemorrhage vertebroplasty, after a two-day wait they said $ 7,000, although other hospitals asked for $ 3,000- $ 3,500 for vertebroplasty, and after they found out that we would only do vertebroplasty, and we won’t do the spinal surgery, interest our person at the hospital completely disappeared and they did not contact us even though we were there about 10 days after consulting with them. So the next day we went to several other hospitals in Turkey and stayed at the Sisli Momorial Hospital. I want to note that the Memorial is no different from Liv Hospital in terms of modernity and attention to the patient. Doctors are very kind prices are acceptable, the neurosurgeon in whom we were an expert in their field listened without being lazy. We were able to ask him all the questions we were interested in, both during the consultation and after treatment, and he was in contact with us all the time before and after the radio frequency denervation that we had with him. Something like this. All health and goodness

And so I would like to share my experience with people who wish to use the services of this service. As well as the services of 2 "Specialists" Inga and Lydia. To begin with, I contacted the service with the problem of undifferentiated arthritis. Previously, in the country of residence, I underwent more than detailed laboratory blood tests for the rheumatological factor of my disease. Given that any rheumatologic examinations were negative. I turned to bookimed - in order to undergo an additional examination, establish a diagnosis and receive adequate medical therapy. In my naivety, I assumed that when a patient has lameness due to necrosis of 2 heads of the hip joint. And a painful syndrome that causes more than unpleasant sensations both when walking and at rest. Can count on LOOKING FOR RECOMMENDATIONS on this issue - I was extremely mistaken. Also, by my naivety, I assumed that if all the results of rheumatological examinations were negative. And if they are negative for 2 years, it is possible that medical specialists will take possible steps in the other direction to establish the cause of the disease. But alas, upon arrival and at the first consultation with a doctor in Hamburg, I heard that most likely my problem lies in rheumatism or its analogues. After that I once again passed the expanded rheumatological panel. And he got an extremely "unexpected" result. The test results for rheumatologic factor were again negative. Then I told the coordinator Lydia about my medical history starting in 2013. After that, I reported that I had recommendations from a pulmonologist to undergo an annual examination for changes in the lungs. I do not know for what reason, but it was my lungs that interested both my coordinator and the doctor in Gabburg. As a result, I received an assurance that my lungs are in perfect order and there is no reason for an annual CT scan. Departing from the generally negative style of my storytelling, I express my gratitude for this recommendation. And I really hope that I can trust her. Returning to the main topic. The doctor familiarized himself with the results of lung examinations, and in great detail, I would say in more detail than the results of examinations of my joints. Namely, MRI - a study of the hip joints - which came to the radiologist, in the last days before leaving. This fact confused me extremely. I come with a joint problem. But the main bias is, oddly enough, absolutely not on the joints. As I wrote above, the MRI results of the hip joints reached the doctor a few days before my departure. After examination, MRI examination of the joints. I was told that most likely the necrotic changes were caused by the intake of hormonal drugs that relieve the symptoms of arthritis. Due to the fact that my blood tests did not reveal rheumatological problems and signs of an inflammatory process in the blood. I received a verdict - you are healthy, all the best. Like any person, I was extremely happy with this conclusion. But bad luck, the joints of the hands were also swollen in the morning, which I introduced to the local coordinator Lydia. Well, the signs of necrotic changes made themselves felt by extremely unpleasant physical sensations when walking. But according to the verbal conclusion of the local coordinator Lydia, the whole problem was that the doctors at the place of residence A) Prescribed drugs that led to necrotic changes B) I just pay too much attention to my symptoms C) Almost literally “You are healthy, live a normal life” You know I was would be glad to follow your recommendations. And he certainly turned to bookimed clearly not for the purpose of "tourism" during quarantine. Now a few words about the bookimed coordinator Inge who, as far as I understand, is my direct coordinator in the country of residence. Initially, Inga made an extremely pleasant impression on me and offered several options for examination at once. I want to emphasize that before my arrival in Germany there were no problems contacting Inga. But alas, as soon as I was in Germany, the situation changed not for the better. After the verdict of the coordinator Lydia about my infallible health, I obviously turned to Inga with the question of whether problems with joints could cause another problem, well, assuming that this is not a rheumatological problem. Well, and accordingly began to expect an answer. And here began something that left an extremely negative impression of Bookimed's work in principle. Coordinator Inga, receiving my messages due to personal employment or any other of her problems, simply does not answer them for several days in a row. The only thing that provoked her to answer on the day of contact was when I immediately wrote to the bookimed chat bot

I would like to share my experience in the clinic. The most important thing about the operation, I had a huge hernia and before the operation I was warned about the possible difficulties of removal by the endoscopic method, but the doctor advised me to start with it. A very good doctor - Stanislaw Kwiek, has over 16 years of experience in minimally invasive surgery. The operation was successful. The rehabilitologist is a good woman, she told and showed the exercises and a rough rehabilitation plan. Most of all I didn't like the managers. Before the operation, they assured that it was enough for them to show the tickets, that I was flying to them, and you could pay on the spot. As soon as I showed the tickets, they told me that now I need to pay 20% in advance ... Also, the entire price list was thrown off to me only after I threw off the tickets to them. Part of the expenses was covered by the insurance and the clinic had to return the difference. If before the operation they picked up the phone immediately, then after that I could not get through. The money was returned after 2 weeks, but not the entire amount, I did not understand why, as I think it is useless. In general, if you forget about those who make money and talk only about the honey side, then everything is fine. Good doctor.

Blessings

The ward is excellent, the attentive staff, the surgeon is a master of his craft, testing, organization, time accuracy at a high level. It’s bad that there is a lack of Russian-speaking staff, without English knowledge it can be difficult to explain what is needed, the Russian-speaking Yako-coordinator is busy and it is difficult to find it urgently. The kitchen could to be more European, but enough food and quite tolerable. I ordered the interpreter when I met at the airport and departure separately.
