Alisher was very helpful with the choice and full support during the treatment. He gave us confidence in choosing Dr Bora Basharan by telling us about his professionalism and humanity. The most important thing for Alisher was the patient's health and to organise the diagnosis/surgery so that the patient gets the best results. We are very happy about this. We could not decide on the treatment (we were waiting for answers from South Korea) and Alisher did not give up to provide us with doctor's answers, answer our many questions and help with organisation. His ability to speak excellent Russian helped a lot in communication.
The first meeting organised by Alisher went well. The doctor explained everything about the surgery and gave us peace of mind due to his experience as a highly specialised ENT surgeon in oncology. The operation went well and the follow up health checks. The recovery is good.

My name is Sergey, I am undergoing treatment at the oncology department of the Nordwest Clinic in Frankfurt am Main. I would like to note the high professional level of doctors, the technical equipment of the clinic at the proper level. I want to express special gratitude to Professor Elka Yeager, senior doctor Kiselichki, Dr. Weber, the highest level of professionalism, are very friendly and attentive, the junior staff are smart, everything is super, I’m very pleased with the treatment, if not for one “but” ... Because of ignorance language had to contact the company "Phoenix Service", which is an intermediary for the provision of medical services, led by Radislav. My communication with them began with the fact that before arrival they demanded a significant prepayment, which was timely transferred to their account. I persistently asked the company’s employees to conclude an agreement with me on the provision of services by Phoenix Service, in order to specifically understand which services and for what specific payment the services will be provided. Only two months later I received the clinic’s bills (with which I completely agree) and separately a bill from Phoenix Service for the services rendered, after viewing which there were simply no words ... As it turned out, being treated in Germany was not expensive, it was expensive to pay for the services of Phoenix invoiced, which either didn’t turn out at all, or turned out to be in the wrong amount and at very high prices. I tried to talk with the head of the company Radislav, saying that I did not agree with the bill, to which I received the answer "if something does not suit you, you can refuse our services further." I officially wrote an appeal to the clinic about the detachment from this dishonest company, to which I received a positive response. He also wrote an official letter to Phoenix with a request to review the account, to which he still has not received an answer. My dad, radiation therapy, 40 sessions, about 2 months of stay in Istanbul were treated in the clinic. It's still early to speak about the results, therefore the review is exclusively about the process (!) For now.
The choice helped to make bookimed, and I highly recommend using this excellent service. As a user, I would like to name the most basic plus. First and foremost, it is time saving, and in some cases it is equivalent to the preservation of health and life. And what is important, without costs for the patient, there is simply no payment for the company's service.
Moreover, service coordinators are a huge resource for patients. We had Konstantin, and we are very grateful for the help and the choice of the best medical solution (at the price / quality / reputation of the doctor / clinic) and great help in solving logistical issues. When we have to deal with "medical tourism", there are no tourism patients for the patients there: (In addition to the medical problem, there are many practical, financial, coordination issues. It is important to have support on the side of the patient, we are very grateful.
Now about the clinic: in general, the clinic liked, very modern and good equipment (so it was chosen), a good price-quality ratio. .
From the pros: the doctor radiologist and the staff of the radiological department were attentive and in matters of medicine, and just a relationship. 40 sessions are 40 visits to the clinic, it is difficult, both physically and morally. The benevolent staff really helped make this experience less painful in all respects.
I will not write much about the interior of the clinic, but for whom the aesthetics are important, yes, everything is excellent, modern, clean, often more like a hotel.
As elsewhere, there is a large team of translators. To communicate with doctors used English directly, there certainly are many advantages. But all 40 sessions and not only were always assisted by translators in communicating with junior honey. personnel, coordination issues, medical records to the doctor, analyzes, transfers, etc.
From the minuses:
The clinic is in a very expensive and difficult physically accessible area (on a hill). Despite the fact that we lived side by side (significantly overpaying compared to other areas of Istanbul), we had to use motor transport every day. For a short stay, this is not a problem, but when a longer period is still an inconvenience.
Some translators of the clinic introduced the category of "minuses" of the clinic. People are different, qualification, too, but it was still in a significant minority (our main interpreter was both professional and human).
Again in the minority (!), But for the objectivity to mention, some doctors offered super expensive tests in very standard situations. For example, oh, well, if you want, in addition to the X-ray, we can do another CT scan (when coughing), which besides doubtful honey. values (not to mention money) was recently and so done. Again, our main doctor is very intelligible and enthusiastically explained the essence of the treatment, the expected effect, side effects, prescribed drugs on time to eliminate them, which of course, most important!
As a conclusion, the minuses will always and everywhere, but in general, from our experience, we are satisfied with the process of treatment in the LIV hospital. Thank you hospital and bukimed team.

From the bottom of my heart I want to thank Professor Gross, as well as all the staff of the Asclepios clinic in Hamburg for their high professionalism, efficiency, sensitivity and attention to patients.
About a month ago left an application on the site bookimed, within an hour I was contacted by coordinator Katerina, immediately offered several clinics specializing in oncourology. The choice fell on Asclepios in Hamburg, in particular, Professor Gross.
Within a week, thanks to Katerina's efforts, prof. Gross, determined the tactics of treatment and already in a week there was immediate operation. There were some doubts that the nephrectomy could be performed laparoscopically, but the golden hands of prof. Gross know their business. The postoperative period went smoothly, recovered quickly.
During the week of the stay, there were no complaints about the work of the staff: attentive, sensitive and affable. Conditions are more than comfortable. The language barrier was not a problem due to the well-coordinated work of the translators Lydia Goncharenko and Vladimir Fissenko.
Separately, I want to once again express my gratitude to coordinator Katerina, who was always in touch, quickly resolved all sorts of difficulties.

I went to Turkey for diagnostics at the Istinye clinic, there are many impressions and, unfortunately, they are not very good. To begin with, the clinic itself is good and the equipment is also at the level, everything went quickly and waited for the result. Because quarantine began in Turkey, flew home, and here it began, although the coordinators promised to keep in touch with me. In short, they discouraged all the desire to go there again and do the operation there! Because it all depends on your coordinator and translator. They only work well with people who pay a lot and no questions asked. I was very disappointed, because I was working a lot to translate all the documentation into English, and finally I was discussing with doctor only 10 minutes, and the level of the discussion was very poor. Practically I did not get anything for 400 EUR.
