The new treatment for hearing loss is provided in the Otolaryngology Department at Campus Benjamin Franklin of Charité Hospital. Over 2,000 inpatients and 3,000 outpatients receive treatment here every year.
Specialists of the Department conduct conservative and surgical therapies of the middle and the inner ear. Hearing loss specialists perform bone-anchored hearing aids, hearing restoration and hearing improvement middle ear surgery, auricle surgery, and so on for children and adults.
Hearing tests for adults, children, and neonates are available in the Department. ENT doctors recommend undergoing the full examination to determine the best treatment for hearing loss. Diagnostics contains audiometry, audioghrapy, otoscopy, etc.
