Hello! My husband was treated at the University Hospital Hadassah. He has liver cancer. He is extremely impressed with the quality of medical care, the attention of professors Daniel Shuval, Alan Bloom, Ayal Hubert and their colleagues. He is grateful for the care of him. We had the opportunity to choose treatment in 5 leading hospitals in the world. And we are glad that by choosing HADASS we made the best and the right choice. Because this hospital has world-class medical care. But this would not have happened if it had not been for the wonderful organization and work of the specialists from the International Department who have been helping us all the time. With all my heart I thank everyone who helped and continues to help Pavel Kalchev in his fight against cancer. I wish all HADASS specialists health. Health for their families. Specialist Aleksey helped me very carefully, personally and for sure. Dad successfully underwent prostatectomy in the Czech Republic. I thank all the people involved in organizing Bookimed !!! Testimonial from patient Sergey: Dear visitors of the site "Bookimed", hello. I want to share my story with you. My name is Sergey, St. Petersburg, I am 65 years old and I have had prostate cancer. 03/19. 19 I got a PSA 6.26 analysis result. (I periodically donated blood for PSA, as there were some problems of a urological nature, besides, I was at risk, my father had prostate cancer) I turned to an oncologist, did an MRI of the pelvis, which showed that I in the left lobe of the gland, a capsule of 20x8 mm, conclusion: PIRADS 5, as bad as possible, as the doctor said. Next, the biopsy that confirmed the cancer, “Acinar Adenocarcinoma of the Prostate,” the total score for Gleason 6. Of course it was a hit! Although I understood that this is quite possible. My relatives helped me a lot: wife, children (I have two sons), wife of the eldest son (I do not like the word daughter-in-law). And then the question, "where to do the operation?" His son was told about the existence of the Bookimed company, which helps people in finding the best treatment option for various diseases around the world. He turned to this company, where he was immediately answered and offered two, the most acceptable options, the Czech Republic or Germany, the operation on the Da Vinci robot. Frankly, I was inclined to have surgery in St. Petersburg (three clinics have Da Vinci robots), but after talking with our doctors and the organizer of the operation at St. Zdislava Hospital in the Czech Republic, Irina Korchminskaya, I came to the conclusion that the operation should be done in Czech Republic !!! About a second, later did not regret it! As soon as I agreed to the operation, (previously I sent the results of the examination), on May 17, I was immediately scheduled for surgery on June 3. They immediately told me that the operation will be done by an assistant professor Dolezhal (experience, more than 2000 operations on prostate cancer on a robot !!!), assisted by Professor Tvaruzhek. All information about the clinic and doctors in the public domain on the website of the hospital of St. Zdislava. This is one of the many reasons why I had surgery there, and not in Russia, I could not get information on the statistics of operations performed by doctors in St. Petersburg. I flew to Prague 05/01/19, I was met at the airport and taken to the hospital, there I was met by the translator Otakar Peshek, speaks excellent Russian. 05/03/19 I had surgery, everything went well. I want to thank the entire staff of the hospital, all the great professionals, have been working in this hospital for many years, starting from nurses. Of course, many thanks to Professor Tvarujek, he is a great professional and a wonderful person! For all my busyness, whenever I had questions, I found time to answer them and give recommendations. I am also immensely grateful to Associate Professor Dolezhal, he directly operated on me and subsequently observed the recovery process. Special thanks to Dr. Khamzin! He did not participate in the operation and was not my attending physician. He graduated from the Leningrad Medical Institute, but for about twenty years he has been living and working in the Czech Republic, he stopped by several times, asked how he was doing and made recommendations for further recovery after being discharged from the hospital (gymnastics, etc.). While in the hospital, I contacted the employees of Bookimed three times. , on issues that have arisen with me and now, two months after the operation, I keep in touch with them, as well as with the St. Zdislava hospital, thank you all very much! Now everything is fine with me, almost completely recovered. 08/01/19 donated blood for PSA, the result is 0.026. I want to tell everyone who is faced with the same problem as mine, do not despair! Cancer, this is just a diagnosis! He can be defeated! You just need to turn to the professionals on time! And in the hospital of St. Zdislava wonderful doctors and nurses work! During my stay in the hospital, people underwent surgery: from Latvia, Belarus, Azerbaijan, Croatia, Mexico, Russia !! While in the hospital, I met one person from Riga, with the same problem as mine. We arrived with him on the same day, we performed operations with him on the same day, and on the same day we headed home. While walking in the surroundings (after the operation you need to walk as much as possible, and the hospital is located in the reserve!), We had the idea to travel across Europe from the hospital of St. Zdislava to the Spanish city of Santiago de Compostela on kickbike scooters under the slogan "we beat cancer!". We want to help people who for the first time encounter the same problem as ours understand that cancer can be defeated! We know how important support and faith are for such people, we have come this way! Perhaps this run will draw someone's attention to the existence of this problem and it will reveal this disease in time! The sooner a person turns to specialists with this problem, the easier it will be to win! If someone has questions, I will try to answer everyone, write

I have breast cancer and I went through chemotherapy in Moscow. Six sessions have passed. It was very difficult to tolerate these procedures. A doctor in Kazakhstan said that this is enough, it is necessary to switch to tableted chemistry. And Moscow offered to continue doing chemotherapy. Opinions are divided. It was necessary to find a third party. I accidentally found your site on the Internet. Ekaterina Koliko wrote very quickly. The benevolence of Katyusha was immediately arranged towards her. She asked me what I would like to go to. I said that I want to go to the Severance clinic in Korea. Katyusha approved my choice. I sent all the necessary documents and Katyusha quickly redirected everything to the clinic. They began to wait for the invitation. For some reason (and for what I already knew in the clinic), there was no invitation. I am very grateful to Katyusha that she was in touch all the time, supported me, gave me hope. We arrived in Seoul in the morning, we were met by a transfer, brought to the hotel. After lunch, they were already in the clinic, I began to take tests. Constantly with me was one of the translators. Girls translators are great fellows, these are Lida, Olesya, Sofia, Tatyana, Alena. Any question could be addressed, they always prompted. They are professionals. Always with a smile, polite, with enormous patience, and most importantly, they understand that they work with a special audience, with people who did not come to rest. Someone to find out the diagnosis, and someone to do the operation. Thank you so much to the girls. The clinic was impressive. Doctors are professionals. The equipment is super. I got the opinion of a third party, it coincided with the opinion of a doctor from Kazakhstan. I was prescribed a prescription, I bought medicines at the pharmacy and started drinking on arrival home. I also want to write about Darina, who was engaged in transfer (the transfer to the clinic was very convenient and met and carried out), the selection of the hotel was also always in touch, and if I had any questions, she quickly answered them. I want to say that I am very happy for getting to know BOOKIMED, professionals really work there, and most importantly, they are not indifferent people. I am grateful to the Almighty and all who were near me. And the words of the doctor gave me inspiration and inspired great hope, for the sake of these words it was worth a long way to go. Once again, many thanks to all.

The hospital is big. This has both positive and negative points . Due to the number of people, sometimes it resembles a shopping center. And it adds a bit of chaos, both to the logistics of finding the right department or office, and to the general atmosphere. Doctors and staff are most friendly and helpful.

Before reading this review I want to make is completely clear that Dr. Ozenlap did a fantastic job. He was always present for anything that happened before and after the surgery. His team are amazing and kind. They take the time to help you. After leaving I have contacted him a few times and he responds right away with voice messages. Returning to Canada my post op nurse said my tummy tuck was one of the best she has seen done in Turkey. I would recommend contacting his clinic directly to arrange a consult and/or surgery as I will when I come for additional services. I highly recommend him. I had dealt with Zeneyp through the entire process and she was really helpful but as the date of my arrival approached it was just a bit more difficult. I did land in Istanbul on April 21st to do some traveling beforehand. A few days before I was to leave I followed up with her about my transportation from the airport. She told me it was too early (4 days) to set up the group chat. I then checked in with her the night before I flew out where I got the information. During our messages I confirmed with Zeneyp what my check in and out days would be since I was there a few days before hand. She confirmed I would check out April 24th and return on April 27th to the hotel (as outlined in my iteintery) I messaged the group chat on the 23rd asking when I would be picked up and was told I was not being picked up until the day of surgery of April 25th. I was ultimately charged for this date. When being admitted to the hospital on the 25th I was informed that the anesthesiologist would not go ahead because of the Lithium I take without it being in my system. One of my first messages with Zeneyp was the medications that I take. I was even asked to clarify my use of another medication so I know thought these would be recorded during the intake. While Canada will operate I understand that Turkey does not. If I had been made aware of this I would have received guidance from my doctor if I needed to stop the medication before I left for Turkey. Brining this up to Zeneyp she said that the anesthesiologist doesn’t know beforehand and this is how it works. I am certain that a surgeon and anesthesiologist would look at a file before preforming a surgery, like when it gets approved by the surgeon. Not when they’re walking into the hospital. Notifying the surgeon, etc of meds would have been her job and I Would be pretty confident that she erred in this. I would make sure that all your medications are checked before you leave for the long travel to Turkey so you are not delayed or worse yet, turned away. I was originally scheduled for a tummy tuck with Dr. Emre Ozanlap on April 25th, which was then delayed to April 28th because information about medication I take was not given to him prior to my arrival in Turkey. I was not provided with any reason on why there is no discussion between medical professionals prior to a decent size surgery. No matter how I tried to get a better explanation she would not give me one. This ended up with me having to pay an extra 3 days for the hotel (6 if we include both of the hospital arrival dates that were outlined) and a new flight home. **surgery happens** A couple days after my operation I go for my check up and your medical coordinator, Hisham, asked me about if I was getting lymphatic massages and was surprised I hadn’t been offered any. I was then contacted by Zenyep afterwards and set one up. During my initial massage the nurse was getting my incision tape contaminated (proper health measures were taken by her). I asked if this was ok and she said yes. I scheduled one for the next day and when the nurse saw the dirty tape she got on the phone with Zenyep. They spoke in Turkish so I don’t know what was said. The nurse fully took off my tape and told me Zeneyp would come by sometime with tape and I agreed I could re tape it once I got it. I waited a while and touched base with her with no response so I went and found a pharmacy for the tape because I flew out in a couple hours and did not want my incision just open. I later received a message that it was Sunday and the pharmacy’s were closed. Upon me telling her I just left a pharmacy she told me it was her day off. She was prepared to have me leave with an open incision while traveling over 18 hours. That was my last interaction with her. During the whole entire time she was never was accountable, apologetic or even empathetic. Always dodging any questions for clarification but basically saying “this is the way” The lack of due diligence by her or Doctor K Clinic as a whole could have left me in a worse situation physically than the inconvenience of the financial situation I find myself in. I do not recommend using their service for booking your surgeries. PLEASE MAKE NOTE OF THE ABOVE REVIEW OF DR. OZENLAP.

I'm 32 years. Left-sided coxarthrosis. I was looking for options for superficial endoprosthetics. I turned to bookimed and I was offered a clinic in Austria. The operation was estimated at about 30-32 thousand euros, but since the technique is innovative (ceramic surface prosthesis for young patients), I agreed. Before that, I several times discussed what kind of operation we are talking about with the contact person from bookimed (Roman) and the doctor. Upon arrival in Austria, Roman met me. A very pleasant and caring person, I am very grateful to him for his help and a warm welcome. The next day after arriving in the morning, I ended up in the clinic. I went through all the necessary tests, and they brought me 2 contracts for signing, 1 from an anesthesiologist, the second for prosthetics. I noticed that the contract for Hip Replacement (replacement of the hip joint), and I was going to the Hip Resurfacing procedure and I had doubts. Two nurses forced me to sign a contract, but without communicating with the doctor, I refused. After Dr. Stefan Malkowitz came, I started a conversation with him about the procedure, as it turned out the doctor deceived me and wanted to do a regular total arthroplasty. He skillfully tried to manipulate on the patient's weaknesses (you will quickly recover, you will not have any pain, etc.) in every possible way, avoiding a direct answer about the prosthesis. As a result, it turned out that he did not do such a procedure (Hip Resurfacing) and began to move out, that he did not understand me. In fact, he was given all the information about the procedure that I wanted to do, the doctor apparently thought he could do it. In fact, I spent 2 days of which 11 hours spent on the road. A bunch of stress and pain nerves in the leg. From here I learned several lessons: 1. Read the contracts that are slipped to you for signature. 2. Discuss all the details several times before the trip. 3. In Europe, people are deceived in the same way as elsewhere

I went to Turkey for diagnostics at the Istinye clinic, there are many impressions and, unfortunately, they are not very good. To begin with, the clinic itself is good and the equipment is also at the level, everything went quickly and waited for the result. Because quarantine began in Turkey, flew home, and here it began, although the coordinators promised to keep in touch with me. In short, they discouraged all the desire to go there again and do the operation there! Because it all depends on your coordinator and translator. They only work well with people who pay a lot and no questions asked. I do not advise you to go there, just because everything is decided not by the doctor, but by the coordinator, he even provides you with the prices !!!! There is only one negative left !!!!
