The experience for me, in general, was excellent, I would go back to the Dr
I was very pleased with the attention I received from the first day I arrived at the clinic. The interpreter was able to communicate perfectly to the surgeon what I wanted to be done and what my expectations were.
I loved the hospitality of the Medical Team, all very attentive, very concerned about whether I was feeling well or not, reminding me of my check-ups, cleaning, suture removal, giving me all the information for the post-operative period, giving me light and oxygen therapy sessions to improve and accelerate the results of my recovery. The clinic is located in a very central place in Gangnam, it is easy to get there. It is very close to the flat that the clinic provides during your stay until the first check-up. The clinic is spacious, well-lit, very clean, with flexible opening hours for post-operative care. The real estate is very comfortable, they have coffee and tea so that you can help yourself. And, they don't keep you waiting. Everything works as scheduled. And, additionally, they provided me with help on how to get around the city, how to get to the tourist attractions, to the shops where they sell skin care products, etc. The experience for me, in general, was excellent, I would go back to the Dr. and I recommend him 100% to those people who are looking for a good clinic where they can have surgery with the full confidence that everything will go very well.
I loved that the Dr. was very patient in understanding exactly what I wanted, thanks to the interpreter I was able to make the Dr. understand everything perfectly. I also liked very much the attention of the medical team that continued to see me the days after the surgery and the warmth and kindness of each one of them. As well as giving me all the instructions I had to follow, they gave me the creams I had to use so that the swelling and bruising would disappear more quickly.
I have nothing to complain about the Clinic, the Dr., the medical team, the interpreter and the care I received before, during and after my surgery. I just think that I should have stayed longer in South Korea to get to see more beautiful places.

When I had already decided on the clinic I wanted to go to, the person who assisted me very kindly answered all the questions I had after I had made my choice. She sent me all the information I asked for about the clinic, the background of the Dr. who was going to operate on me, health permits, health registration of the Dr., validity of his professional title, etc. Everything I needed to make sure I made a very informed decision and knew everything about the clinic, the Dr, the place where I would be operated on, where the clinic was located, where I would be staying from the day of the surgery until a week later and, obviously, how much I was going to be charged.
There was only one difference with respect to the initial budget, but it was because once I was in the clinic I added a part of my face that had not been contemplated before. I came to turkey on my own. The staff were lovely and so supportive. I felt secure and well cared for. I was treated at Hospital. My appointment with Dr suggested a few tweaks to the initial treatment plan and I was reassured by this that he had my best outcome in mind. He was very professional and gave you lots of confidence. I met my anaesthesiologist and the chief medical director. There was not one time I felt that I did not know what was going on. I wish all the staff Akylay who helped me through this a big thank you. It is only 5 days post surgery. But my checkup with Dr MED today went well. Very little pain and swelling going down nicely. A special mention to the staff at hotel Modus who looked after me with bags of ice for swelling and lovely food and to Akilay who was my guide through all this and made sure that not only did I get everything I needed…….but I made the most of my time here in Istanbul, which is a beautiful city.

Two thirds of the face lift, neck platysmaplasty, temporal lift, lower laser eye resurfacing and not a single bruise, it is impressive!
Excellent medical staff. Very positive and friendly attitude to patients. Kudos to the surgeon for his jewellery work. The only thing I would like to improve is the communication between the interpreters, which would improve the organisation in some issues. It is too early to say about the final result, but two thirds of the face lift, neck platysmaplasty, temporal lift, lower laser eye resurfacing and not a single bruise, it is impressive!

I am leaving a detailed review covering four procedures I’m from the U.K. I had a Rhinoplasty, Blepharoplasty, deep plane neck and lower face lift on 29th December 2024 with Dr Ali SADIOGLU.
Whilst my overall results can’t yet be seen I would like to tell you what I can for now. Dr Ali SADIOGLU has a professional approach to his work but remains compassionate, empathetic and respectful to your needs and wishes. He listens to what you are saying and discusses any concerns, issues and questions that you have about your procedure. He advises you. He is truthful about the results that you could achieve.
The pre procedure coordinator, Defne, was invaluable. Her services before arriving in Istanbul were excellent. Fluent English is spoken and no question was too much for her to deal with and answer promptly. Without Defne and her attention to the detail of my potential booking I would not have booked. Well done Defne.
My procedure coordinator and my English speaking contact in Istanbul was Elif. The wonderful, professional, never tiring, always available Elif. She was amazing. Elif attended all my appointments with me. Travelled in the taxis with me but remained professional. She ensured that there were no issues with translation (despite my surgeon speaking excellent English) 5*’s for service and patience.
*RHINOPLASTY*
Having a Rhinoplasty at 57yrs old concerned me. Dr Ali SADIOGLU Explained in detail exactly what he thought would look best for my face. I put my entire trust in him and the end product was AMAZING. My new nose was unveiled a week after surgery. IT WAS PERFECT. I can’t thank Dr Ali SADIOGLU enough. Since arriving back in the U.K. friends and family have described my nose as beautiful and whilst I would not use that word usually about myself, it’s a truly beautiful nose.
*BLEPHAROPLASTY*
Dr Ali SADIOGLU explained how he could improve the look of my eyes with a small procedure. The micro detail in this small area needed the skills of Dr Ali SADIOGLU. I no longer look tired. Again, I am so pleased that I put my trust in him.
*DEEP PLANE NECK AMD LOWER FACE LIFT*
My research lead me to Dr Ali SADIOGLU and I am pleased that it did. My final outcome won’t be seen for a few months so I will review the first two weeks.
Prior to meeting Dr Ali SADIOGLU I sent photos and a description of what I thought I wanted to achieve and he carried out a remote consultation. When I met Dr Ali SADIOGLU, we went through a detailed consultation in person. He answered all my questions and addressed all my concerns. He explained where the incision lines would be and described the deep plane process in detail. I was confident the I was Dr Ali SADIOGLU‘s next patient.
Surgery went well. Dr Ali SADIOGLU visited me after surgery and also the next day. The care by him and his team was exceptional. All the aftercare was explained clearly. Moving on to the result…. I write this review at 2 weeks post op. My stitches are where Dr Ali SADIOGLU said they would be and are healing nicely. Whilst my face is swollen still, I can see its new tighter, younger and smoother look. Everything is as it should be at this stage. People have told me that I already look 15 years younger.
I’m sorry for the length of the review but Dr Ali SADIOGLU deserves this review. He is an amazing surgeon. Someone previously described him as having ‘magic hands’. He most certainly has.
I promise to you that I will update this review as time goes by so you have the full picture.
You don’t have to pick the surgeon that has the most 5* reviews to find the best. Dr Ali SADIOGLU Is a hidden Turkish Gem.

The beginning of surgery was tough, doing the upper and lower Blepharplasty with shots and some pain reliever in my IV and I needed something a little stronger but I understand how careful the Dr was because I was under full anesthesia the minute the eye surgeries were done. The results are looking amazing and the swelling decreased daily. I’m not sure what oral pain meds I was on after surgery but it was perfect for me because I don’t like to be on very many pain meds and when the meds ended it was the time I usually stop taking any pain meds. I’m pleased with the results I’m seeing so far and it’s only 3 weeks post-op. Lilith and the the girls were amazing, Lilith helped be to the hotel nearby after my 2 day stay at the surgical hospital and she helped me with exchanging my money to pay my hotel bill because my Credit Union was blocking my use of my credit card. I recommend anyone from outside of Korea to make sure they have an account with a larger bank before getting surgery in another country. I can’t say how much I needed and got reassurance from the staff with removal of my stitches and just how conscientious the staff was that I would be as comfortable as possible. Dr Kim Yong Woo always asked if I had any questions and spend the time before and after surgery to make sure all my questions were answered. He did a good job on my surgery and I recommend him for anyone seeking plastic surgery in Korea.

I went to this clinic to get medical care. The very high price could be justified by this type of treatment.
The medical team were present, but no parameters were taken either before or after the treatment. I don't think that customer satisfaction is the objective, the aim is above all to make people spend money unnecessarily.

It was a terrible experience which I never want to go through again. Upon arrival at the hospital, the consultant , Jeab who led me there was not present to receive me. Instead I was attended by the medical sstaff who flatly shot down the agreed quotations offered by Jeab and even said they do not need the VDO anymore so they could not offer me what Jeab did and I was told I had to pay 3 times the proce of what I was offered before. Consequent to the price dispute, there were lots of bleak moments between the consultant and the medical staff internally then I was made to wait for over two hours then they suddenly reversed to ask for VDO compromised on an agreed price. I repeated said no to revealing my face for the VDO and the secretary Kimmy assured me my face will not be shown on camera. Prior to seeing the doctor, I was told to made payment first. For every doctor consultation, I had to go to the cashier to complete the payment and I was seeing two different doctors meant I had to repeat same process twice touring the entire medical centre so many times. What was most stupid was that I was never informed that I had to pay out of pocket for the Covid-9 test which I deem really unfair when there was konsixh prior information and they just dumped all the hidden cost on me. I only did the arm Vader+body tite along with pick laser for vaginal and I was made to go from building to building spending 7 hours there the entire day is really uncalled for!!!

As part of our first contact with your clinic, we encountered minor difficulties in navigation. However, thanks to the prompt support of the supervisors and the international department, all organisational issues were successfully resolved. The prices at the Memorial clinic indicate that it claims to be a clinic not only with highly specialized specialists, but also for a clinic of high quality service. The general impression is that it is not worth it, for such amounts you at least expect to receive test results and a conclusion. I received the following services at the clinic: - tests One nurse took tests from me and another patient at the same time, and almost mixed up the labels on the test tubes. - doctor's consultations (gynecologist, dermatologist) The appointment of a dermatologist was not issued either digitally or in paper form, which caused problems during the subsequent treatment. In gynecology, there were two parts of the tests, some told me that they were good, but I didn’t receive any conclusion, nothing. The second told me that they would inform me by phone, but no one contacted me. - medical procedures I was signed up for medical procedures, but when they arrived, the nurses began to ask me how much the medicine cost, the price for which they wrote to me on a piece of paper a week before. A very strange way of determining which drug to inject a patient. I expected the assignment to be stored in an internal electronic sy. - translation On the day of the consultation with the gynecologist, after waiting half an hour for a translator into Russian, they gave me an interpreter in English (post factum), in general, I made an understanding based on the results of the analysis, but unfortunately, I do not know the gynecological topic in English at the right level and ask some clarifying questions were already pointless.

Yes - overall support was brilliant. Fouad from Bookimed was so patient with me and so helpful, and not sure Teresa ever sleeps. Thank you both! However due to timing I think the initial 24 hours I assume would be better usually, but it is holiday season - I think better expectation setting there and having someone on hand at departure who could inform me of the steps and answer my questions - but despite this I am sure the follow up for me in that short window would not being the usual experience as otherwise the support was amazing and I was given time during holidays by Dr G which I value and appreciate - it is an important time of the process though so I would recommend having someone like Mercedes on hand! It’s scary seeing yourself after surgery and I was left feeling very unaware for nearly 48 hours!
I do want to highlight that everyone in the hospital was great and professional the two nurses who looked after me directly after the surgery were so lovely and obviously all involved in the surgery and end to end treatment - but extra special thanks to you Mercedes - a really special human and very valuable member and representative of the organisation and hospital! Thank you
