Excellent experience. I traveled from Mexico to have cochlear implant surgery. First of all, I found this hospital thanks to the attention of Bookimed, they attended me very well, got the best option and started the whole process. At the beginning I was obviously a little bit afraid that everything was real and correct and with good results, it was the first time I used this kind of medical tourism. I searched many countries and options and found the best deal through Bookimed at Hisar Hospital in Istanbul at the best price. Now that it's all over, I am pleasantly surprised and grateful to everyone who took care of me. I am impressed with how well they have organized everything for international patients. From the transportation, to the airport-hotel-airport, hotel-hospital-hotel, in all the appointments I had, more than 3 times in two weeks. The international department assigned me one and sometimes two translators, all were very well behaved, Dr. Yabuz Selim very attentive and professional, the hospital was excellent, the package included two nights accommodation in a room with two rooms, and meals for patient and companion. Pre-operative studies, post-operative follow-up, and only the agreed amount was paid from the beginning, not a dollar more we had to pay. I had never had this experience in a hospital before. The whole procedure was fast and without complications, they checked me 3 more times without any problem. They helped me resolve all my doubts and concerns, always with excellent response through whatsapp. I sincerely recommend and thank everyone involved in Hisar Hospital. I hope I never have to go back, but if I need to, I will not even look elsewhere.

Memorial is more than a hospital. It is home from home. Very hospitable and caring staff who show a lot of empathy. My one night stay in the hospital was a delightful experience, kind and available staff, every neat and hygienic room. The doctors are on top of their job. I was taken through a lecture in nuclear physics 101, broken in simple language. The lecturer helped allayed my initial fears about the treatment. The treatment was speedy and the results came so quickly. The doctor was by my bedside to explain the next steps. The translator was fantastic. The transportation service was superb, always on time. I got more than value for my money. I will strongly recommend Memorial Sisli Hospital for any person seeking Lu-177 therapy

I would like to share my positive impression of the clinic and bookimed.com. First of all, I was pleasantly surprised by the speed of the examination - all procedures were organised quickly and clearly, without long waits. The clinic is equipped with modern equipment, which inspires confidence and gives confidence in the accuracy of diagnosis. I would like to emphasise the responsiveness and professionalism of the staff. Each employee showed attention and care, which made the treatment process much more comfortable. A pleasant addition was the work of interpreter Gulnara and coordinator Zahida - it greatly facilitated communication with doctors and understanding of all stages of examination. I would also like to express my gratitude for the transfer and the work of the driver, which helped to save time and eliminated the need to think about the road. From visiting the clinic and undergoing examination were only negative impressions. Appointed to the doctor for 10 days at a certain time, and got an hour later! All tests were taken promptly, in 1 day and promised the results and a visit to the doctor in 2-3 days (the doctor himself said that everything needs to be done very quickly, because I needed urgent treatment), and silence .... Irada I didn’t answer calls ... We only got contact with the help of Bookimed employees! In general, we got to the doctor only after a week, and we were told that we needed to do another examination !!! (remembered) In general, we lost time in vain, which is very important for cancer patients, nerves and money ... Many thanks to the girls from Bookimed for support, help and patience Ie !!! I am grateful to Katerina, Daria, Olga and Darina for the help and support !!! I do not recommend Medipole. I am undergoing treatment in another clinic!

My Mum had a neurological check-up. We are very grateful that finally the problem with headaches has been solved! For more than two years, doctors of clinics in Europe and Ukraine, could not solve this issue, prescribing antidepressants, etc. Arrived at the clinic at 8:50 am, without delay was provided, very nice interpreter Irada. We promptly took analyses, MRI, ultrasound, consultation with a competent neurologist who paid attention to the problem that was causing the headaches for a long time. Admittedly, when I booked the surgery, I was a little sceptical that everything would go well. After all, everything was done online. However, I was very impressed with how good and friendly the constant communication was. I was already feeling increasingly confident here. I also received very good, uninterrupted and professional treatment and care on site. My doctor Dr Burak and my contact person Olivia were very friendly and incredibly helpful. The transfers - to/from the airport or to follow up appointments at the clinic - were very good and reliable. The contact persons at Bookimed also contacted me regularly and enquired about my well-being. I am very pleased with the outcome of the surgery and am pleased to be recovering quickly and well. I had initially gone to Turkey to consult with a dental clinic there. The initial clinic consultation went a direction that didn't want to go to meet my needs. Bookimed was able to quickly arrange more consultations with other clinics and Bahcelievler Memorial Hospital. I really liked the dental staff and the vision/action plan proposed by Bahcelievler. I quickly decided that they were the best option of all my consultations there in-country. Due to the severity of my dental needs, the Chief of Dentistry (Dr. Esma Sonmez) personally took my case. Her and her team were fantastic. She highly recommended the oral surgeon, part of the hospital, Dr. Celal Gondirll. I highly recommend both of them. Mr. Gondirll communicated clearly the game plan, successfully followed through with a well-performed surgery, and was available for after-care. I needed 24 crowns, with temporaries installed prior to the jaw surgery, and permanents installed post-surgery. Dr Sonmez performed all the crowns herself. In all, everything went very well. My hospital medical coordinators, Ms. Rose and Mr. Masoud, did a great job of coordinating the activities, hospital stay, hotel stay, and shuttle services. It has only been about a week and a half post-surgery, but I am very pleased with the results. I'm sure things will only improve more as the swelling subsides in the coming weeks. None of it would have been possible without my Bookimed coordinator, Winnington, quickly pivoting after my initial consultation going south and arranging the consultation with the hospital. An additional point to mention is that Bahcelievler Memorial Hospital was able to perform all the needed services at a significantly cheaper price. Dr. Sonmez is also very conservative in her approach to dental care and was able to successfully avoid 12 root canals that my initial dental clinic consultations had deemed "required." I would strongly suggest adding a consultation with the hospital prior to finalizing any action plan. Thank you!

Bookimed, I am so grateful to you, I could not have made this journey without your assistance. Thank you very much for your guidance and patience. I hope I did not give you a hard time. Turkey is a safe place to travel, it is safer than Paris, Milan or Manhattan. I never felt in danger in Istanbul. From the moment I arrived at Lokman Hekim Hospital, everything was taken care of by Ismael Ali, who is an easy going and friendly translator. The pre-operative test were done as soon as I arrived. The day after I met Doctor Murat Yaman who is a friendly and open person. Before travelling to Istanbul I checked his background and found him to be a very good and competent surgeon. So, on that day I was relaxed for the surgery because I knew I was going to be in good hands. The work he did on me was outstanding. I am still in the healing process. My eyes are a bit irritated, but that is normal. My face is still a bit swollen but it no longer hangs. My face has changed expression from appearing to be sad or angry to reflecting a normal emotion. A big thanks to the Lokman Hekim Hospital staff some of them spoke a little bit of English others were fluent but all of them were caring, kind, super friendly and always ready to help.

At first I was really nervous and I didn’t really know what I was getting myself into - I just knew I had to do something about the weight I had gained and let me tell you, my experience exceeded my expectations!! The team are AMAZING at what they do. The nurse, Madina, is absolutely phenomenal and has such a beautiful soul who genuinely cares about you physically, mentally and emotionally. The nutritionist, Nur, is such a realist and incredible at what she does, she is so informative and explains everything you need to know thoroughly. And finally the surgeon, Dr Kaplan Baha Temizgonul, is undoubtedly such a genuine man who guides and supports you throughout the process as well as answers any questions you may have regarding the surgery and aftercare. He is 100% amazing at what he does and ensures you feel comfortable the entire time. The communication is great, even when you fly back as you can always express any concerns you may have and they’ll deal with it accordingly. The pain after surgery only lasted a few hours and got better and better with the care of the wonderful hospital staff. I don’t think I would’ve felt as cared for if it weren’t for the staff. If you are interested, you NEED to go to Dr Baha as he is the best in the industry. I’m 100% convinced you won’t get a better service elsewhere. Before reading this review I want to make is completely clear that Dr. Ozenlap did a fantastic job. He was always present for anything that happened before and after the surgery. His team are amazing and kind. They take the time to help you. After leaving I have contacted him a few times and he responds right away with voice messages. Returning to Canada my post op nurse said my tummy tuck was one of the best she has seen done in Turkey. I would recommend contacting his clinic directly to arrange a consult and/or surgery as I will when I come for additional services. I highly recommend him. I had dealt with Zeneyp through the entire process and she was really helpful but as the date of my arrival approached it was just a bit more difficult. I did land in Istanbul on April 21st to do some traveling beforehand. A few days before I was to leave I followed up with her about my transportation from the airport. She told me it was too early (4 days) to set up the group chat. I then checked in with her the night before I flew out where I got the information. During our messages I confirmed with Zeneyp what my check in and out days would be since I was there a few days before hand. She confirmed I would check out April 24th and return on April 27th to the hotel (as outlined in my iteintery) I messaged the group chat on the 23rd asking when I would be picked up and was told I was not being picked up until the day of surgery of April 25th. I was ultimately charged for this date. When being admitted to the hospital on the 25th I was informed that the anesthesiologist would not go ahead because of the Lithium I take without it being in my system. One of my first messages with Zeneyp was the medications that I take. I was even asked to clarify my use of another medication so I know thought these would be recorded during the intake. While Canada will operate I understand that Turkey does not. If I had been made aware of this I would have received guidance from my doctor if I needed to stop the medication before I left for Turkey. Brining this up to Zeneyp she said that the anesthesiologist doesn’t know beforehand and this is how it works. I am certain that a surgeon and anesthesiologist would look at a file before preforming a surgery, like when it gets approved by the surgeon. Not when they’re walking into the hospital. Notifying the surgeon, etc of meds would have been her job and I Would be pretty confident that she erred in this. I would make sure that all your medications are checked before you leave for the long travel to Turkey so you are not delayed or worse yet, turned away. I was originally scheduled for a tummy tuck with Dr. Emre Ozanlap on April 25th, which was then delayed to April 28th because information about medication I take was not given to him prior to my arrival in Turkey. I was not provided with any reason on why there is no discussion between medical professionals prior to a decent size surgery. No matter how I tried to get a better explanation she would not give me one. This ended up with me having to pay an extra 3 days for the hotel (6 if we include both of the hospital arrival dates that were outlined) and a new flight home. **surgery happens** A couple days after my operation I go for my check up and your medical coordinator, Hisham, asked me about if I was getting lymphatic massages and was surprised I hadn’t been offered any. I was then contacted by Zenyep afterwards and set one up. During my initial massage the nurse was getting my incision tape contaminated (proper health measures were taken by her). I asked if this was ok and she said yes. I scheduled one for the next day and when the nurse saw the dirty tape she got on the phone with Zenyep. They spoke in Turkish so I don’t know what was said. The nurse fully took off my tape and told me Zeneyp would come by sometime with tape and I agreed I could re tape it once I got it. I waited a while and touched base with her with no response so I went and found a pharmacy for the tape because I flew out in a couple hours and did not want my incision just open. I later received a message that it was Sunday and the pharmacy’s were closed. Upon me telling her I just left a pharmacy she told me it was her day off. She was prepared to have me leave with an open incision while traveling over 18 hours. That was my last interaction with her. During the whole entire time she was never was accountable, apologetic or even empathetic. Always dodging any questions for clarification but basically saying “this is the way” The lack of due diligence by her or Doctor K Clinic as a whole could have left me in a worse situation physically than the inconvenience of the financial situation I find myself in. I do not recommend using their service for booking your surgeries. PLEASE MAKE NOTE OF THE ABOVE REVIEW OF DR. OZENLAP.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to my coordinating doctor Yaroslava from the platform. She was on call 24/7, always answered in detail, politely and with great patience. Yaroslava even enquired about my impressions after my consultation with the doctor, which was very pleasant. Her responsiveness and support helped me to make an important decision. As for the treatment and the doctor, it is too early to give a final assessment, as we are just starting to work. But I can already say that I chose Memorial Ataşehir Clinic and I was satisfied with the staff, the doctor, the interpreter and the clinic itself. We successfully operated on our daughter Nika Popova at the San Donato clinic (Italy). Thank you so much for the Bookimed service for the excellent organization of the trip. Our manager Aleksey Karaganov was always in touch and helped with all issues (visas, booking, medical and legal issues). The clinic, staff, ward are all at the highest level and the main thing is that real masters of their craft work there. Our attending physicians were delighted with the results of the most complicated heart surgery, the Ross operation. I want to share my experience. In the summer I planned a breast augmentation surgery. I thought for a long time in what country, that it would not take long to fly, price, quality, etc. Having decided on the country (Turkey), was the choice of clinic. With the coordinator Bogdana very quickly selected a clinic. There were a lot of offers from different clinics, but intuitively the choice fell on Dr Ramazan Arslan from Quartz Clinique. Then I cooperated with the coordinator Ali from the clinic. I have never met a more attentive and patient person))). As soon as we arrived in Turkey, Ali was on call 24/7. Any question was solved instantly. At the consultation, the doctor said I needed a lift of one breast, the healing process with a lift is complex and painful, so all 10 days I needed attention. I was at the clinic for 2 days, then stayed with my husband in a hotel across the street. Which was very convenient. Ali, the doctor, all the girls from the clinic were very friendly, always smiling, trying to help. I highly recommend the doctor as he did exactly the shape I wanted. The coordinator Ali, I can't imagine if he wasn't there... The clinic is very friendly staff. Kudos to the girls!

Good day! I would like to share my impressions of being in the clinic. Thanks to the coordinators, the staff of the international clinic center, all wishes were taken into account. Special thanks to the attending physician, the procedure was perfect, the staff is very attentive, courteous. They are located in a 5-bed room, but at the same time there is no discomfort, food can be chosen taking into account personal taste preferences (Korean, European cuisine) and at the same time satisfying and varied. I can say one thing, there is no limit to my gratitude, my recommendations to friends, acquaintances only this Clinic! The prices are reasonable.

Everything at Bumrungrad was above average, except the fact that they told me they d send me quotes on different procedures within 3 days and it took one full month and me pushing them 3 times in order to get these quotes. That is far from what anyone would expect from an hospital of this international standing. On the flip side though, the people from Bookimed were awesome and i was happily surprised by they re professionalism, presence and speed of response to any of my inquiry. I will recommend Bookimed's services to everyone i know that are in need. Keep it up Bookimed and all the best! :-)

But the doctor, unfortunately, did not inspire confidence in me, for 45 minutes of the conversation the doctor did not ask me any details of the disease, not about what tests were passed, what manipulations were. If I didn’t tell and didn’t ask questions for 45 minutes, then most likely the meeting would have ended in 5 minutes. In general, I didn’t see the doctor’s interest in the patient. In principle, I have not heard anything new either.
