We are from Uzbekistan and when we were diagnosed with arteriovenous malformation we realised that this is the most complicated pathology of brain neurosurgery. Our boy is only 17 years old and therefore it is understandable what grief fell on us. But thanks to the clinic manager Florence Alisher, we came across our respected doctor. The operation lasted 17 hours. Two days later our boy was already in the ward. 15 days later we were home. Our boy is healthy Ilhan Elmachi is a high professional. THANK YOU for the sensitive and caring attitude to us doctor and his team and nurses They brought our boy back to life. Such people are like stars in the desert gave us hope. I had some logistical problems leading up to my arrival, but i got great help from translator whom helped me throughout my stay, with translations as well as guiding me through the stepps by Wassim. The coordinator at the location also did a good job of trying to piece together a solution as we tried to find out if I could see some specific doctors whilst i was there which im thankful for.

If I have to use my critical eye, I would say, maybe outline the importance of having all the documents of MRI and scans available and underscore the importance of certain time frames when it comes to meeting certain doctors as some can be very busy if one meeting is missed.. And also maybe get all the information from the manager to the local manager about case, because I for example had a problem earlier with getting diagnosed, and would like to give that information to the local manager that earlier, I have had problems with that exact step, so we know to check extra well to see how we can get around finding a solution to my problem with that in mind, knowing it can be hard to find a diagnose, and to be a little extra prepared to navigate this problem.

Never come to the Artemis Clinic, treating patients is not worth the money paid, especially beware of an interpreter named Zhey. Firstly, he has very poor Russian language, never translates as it should, moreover, he was not present after the operation, while the patient was in intensive care, appeared three days after the operation with an invoice for payment in excess of the previously agreed amount. When we told him that his work did not suit us, he replied that these were our problems and we could go to another clinic, and the hospital would not fully refund the money paid to us. By the way, before we paid $ 6000 to the cash desk of the hospital, everyone was very polite with us including the interpreter Jay, and promised that they would take us to the operation the next day, but after payment it was as if everyone had changed, they started to be rude and rude especially to Zhey. They pulled the operation as best they could despite the terrible pain of the patient. Another translator, Ishvar, was a pleasant person with good knowledge of the Russian language. We wanted him, but for some reason we were not allowed, besides we heard that he was forbidden to help us and he already stopped answering our calls. So if you came to India for treatment it’s better to go to another clinic, but if you did come to Artemis when they will provide you with an interpreter, in no case do you agree to the services of an interpreter JAY!

From the moment I turned to them, they tirelessly contacted me and provided all third-party support. Meeting, doctor's consultation and after. Really guys thank you! We agreed with Anton that we would go for a consultation at Liv Hospital. Special thanks to you. Now for the Liv Hospital itself. We turned to this hospital with an MRI scan - signs of osteochondrosis of the thoracic spine. The central protrusion of the VTh3 - VTh4 disk and vertebral bodies with marginal suspensions, the height of the vertebral bodies is preserved. End plates of vertebral bodies with clear, even contours. In the vertebral bodies Th2 (10mm), Th5 (10mm), Th10 (23mm), Th11 (3mm) and L1 (5mm), round sections with hyper-intense T1 and T2 HI signal characteristics (hemangiomas) are determined. We were prescribed a doctor Chagatai Ozturk. From acquaintances, from reviews and after talking with the doctor, I realized that the doctor is quite a professional in his field. Pros: 1. Modern hospital 2. Attention to the patient is good. 3. Amiable doctor 4. Well done consultants. Cons: 1. Very, well, very expensive treatment in relation to other hospitals in Turkey. For example, Memorial, Azhibadem, Medicana 2. Careful attention to the patient is a maximum of 10-15 minutes. After this time has passed, it seems that the doctor has lost interest in you and begins to engage in others on his computer. (at least I noticed this in relation to us) 3. Does not give other variations of the treatment although this could be given. Since having looked at our MRI remotely, Liv hospital sent us an invoice, we expected that after a live examination, the doctor would offer us other treatment options. 4. The doctor is very honest with the patient. He directly told us that after the operation does not guarantee that we will return to our previous health and will feel like an 18 year old healthy person. I do not know how much this psychologically affects the patient. For example, it negatively affected us or not. 5. We were offered to have an operation the amount of which amounted to $ 23,000 plus treatment and stay in Turkey for 15 days would cost us all this about $ 30,000. For this amount we were offered in Israel and Germany, and in India 3 times cheaper. We asked for a breakdown of this amount, which is included here. Unfortunately, they said they could not give it. I could not understand why. Then we asked to give us a price for hemorrhage vertebroplasty, after a two-day wait they said $ 7,000, although other hospitals asked for $ 3,000- $ 3,500 for vertebroplasty, and after they found out that we would only do vertebroplasty, and we won’t do the spinal surgery, interest our person at the hospital completely disappeared and they did not contact us even though we were there about 10 days after consulting with them. So the next day we went to several other hospitals in Turkey and stayed at the Sisli Momorial Hospital. I want to note that the Memorial is no different from Liv Hospital in terms of modernity and attention to the patient. Doctors are very kind prices are acceptable, the neurosurgeon in whom we were an expert in their field listened without being lazy. We were able to ask him all the questions we were interested in, both during the consultation and after treatment, and he was in contact with us all the time before and after the radio frequency denervation that we had with him. Hello, my name is Vladislav Ivanov, Ukraine, Odessa city. In February 2021, my daughter Vlada was diagnosed with anaplastic ependymoma, we went to the doctors for a week trying to find out why the child started having severe headaches. They went through examinations, did an MRI, and as a fact, they found a brain tumor. That's when the ground slipped from under my feet. Realization has come - this has already happened, which means you need to quickly take action. The first thing we did was go to the children's hospital in Kyiv, the child was given a shunt. But unfortunately, fluid began to collect in my head and my vision began to fall sharply. The doctors explained that an operation was urgently needed. We did not have a large accumulated amount, and we decided to complete the operation abroad. We contacted Bookmed. We contacted the employee Marina. Marina quickly found a clinic for us in Turkey, organized a trip for us, flew to Turkey in a matter of days. The hospital was already waiting for us. Examined, took blood for tests and the next day an operation was scheduled. Everything went well. Then they underwent a course of radiotherapy. The results are positive, we were sent home to Ukraine (August 2021). Every 3 months they underwent MRI, the pictures were good .. But a year later, in March 2022, we heard the terrible words “relapse”, “war”. Hastily collected the necessary documents and left for Lviv. From there, by large buses, all children with cancer began to be taken out along the humanitarian corridor from Ukraine to Europe. The daughter and his wife were assigned to France. A second operation was performed, the tumor was removed, and after that a course of chemotherapy was prescribed. After a month of taking the course, the doctor said that chemotherapy was not helping. The doctor suggested experimental chemotherapy, but that didn't help either. As a result, the daughter is getting worse and worse every day. The child began to walk badly, the right leg and handle practically do not work. The child melted before my eyes. It's all very scary, but it's worse to leave Vlad without an opportunity for treatment. I again turned to Marina Bookmed Marina again very quickly found us a hospital in Turkey, helped us with the flight Paris Istanbul. Arrived at the hospital 2 days later, the operation was successful!!! After the operation, the child began to talk, swallow, and after a couple of days to walk. I'll start my review with Bookimed. Indeed, the guys helped a lot, in particular, Anton, Barbara, Nazrin. We agreed with Anton that we would go for a consultation at Liv Hospital. Special thanks to you. Now for the Liv Hospital itself. We turned to this hospital with an MRI scan - signs of osteochondrosis of the thoracic spine. The central protrusion of the VTh3 - VTh4 disk and vertebral bodies with marginal suspensions, the height of the vertebral bodies is preserved. End plates of vertebral bodies with clear, even contours. In the vertebral bodies Th2 (10mm), Th5 (10mm), Th10 (23mm), Th11 (3mm) and L1 (5mm), round sections with hyper-intense T1 and T2 HI signal characteristics (hemangiomas) are determined. We were prescribed a doctor Chagatai Ozturk. From acquaintances, from reviews and after talking with the doctor, I realized that the doctor is quite a professional in his field. Pros: 1. Modern hospital 2. Attention to the patient is good. 3. Amiable doctor 4. Well done consultants. Cons: 1. Very, well, very expensive treatment in relation to other hospitals in Turkey. For example, Memorial, Azhibadem, Medicana 2. Careful attention to the patient is a maximum of 10-15 minutes. After this time has passed, it seems that the doctor has lost interest in you and begins to engage in others on his computer. (at least I noticed this in relation to us) 3. Does not give other variations of the treatment although this could be given. Since having looked at our MRI remotely, Liv hospital sent us an invoice, we expected that after a live examination, the doctor would offer us other treatment options. 4. The doctor is very honest with the patient. He directly told us that after the operation does not guarantee that we will return to our previous health and will feel like an 18 year old healthy person. I do not know how much this psychologically affects the patient. For example, it negatively affected us or not. 5. We were offered to have an operation the amount of which amounted to $ 23,000 plus treatment and stay in Turkey for 15 days would cost us all this about $ 30,000. For this amount we were offered in Israel and Germany, and in India 3 times cheaper. We asked for a breakdown of this amount, which is included here. Unfortunately, they said they could not give it. I could not understand why. Then we asked to give us a price for hemorrhage vertebroplasty, after a two-day wait they said $ 7,000, although other hospitals asked for $ 3,000- $ 3,500 for vertebroplasty, and after they found out that we would only do vertebroplasty, and we won’t do the spinal surgery, interest our person at the hospital completely disappeared and they did not contact us even though we were there about 10 days after consulting with them. So the next day we went to several other hospitals in Turkey and stayed at the Sisli Momorial Hospital. I want to note that the Memorial is no different from Liv Hospital in terms of modernity and attention to the patient. Doctors are very kind prices are acceptable, the neurosurgeon in whom we were an expert in their field listened without being lazy. We were able to ask him all the questions we were interested in, both during the consultation and after treatment, and he was in contact with us all the time before and after the radio frequency denervation that we had with him. In addition to the excellent surgery, I received support with all my questions and concerns, so I didn’t have to worry about anything. Eldar kept everything under control. I loved absolutely everything—from the transfer to staying in the hospital in my own private room with a companion. I also appreciated the opportunity to take the physiotherapy equipment to my hotel room, allowing me to do the exercises there instead of going to the hospital. During this period, he led his clinic to become the only accredited clinic by EANS (The European Association of Neurosurgical Societies) in Turkey, with its educational and care services. During this period, he completed his endoscopic skull base training starting at the University of Pittsburgh. In 2010, he started to work for Acıbadem University Faculty of Medicine and became a Professor of Neurosurgery. He established the Neurosurgery Department in Medipol University Faculty of Medicine on 2012. He served as a Head of Neurosurgery Department in Memorial Health Group Istanbul Hospitals between 2014-2018. He served Neurosurgery Department of Maslak Hospital of Acıbadem Health Group with his team between 2018- September 2021. Since 01.10.2021, He have started to work with his team at my private clinic located in Fulya and Ulus Hospital of Liv Health Group. He served as the founding chairman of ”Skull Base Society” in Turkey. He is also a member of the Executive Committee of the European Skull Base Society (ESBS).
