We would strongly recommend this team to any foreigner visiting Turkey for treatment
I landed on Bookimed while searching for further treatment.. One Dr.Hilal got in touch with me and guided me through the different options available to us. We eventually settled on Florence nightingale hospital and immediately got in touch with Alişer, who walked with us through our preparation and arrival in Turkey as well as the hospital visits. He was kind enough to guide us on what was expected and was always available even at odd hours . The doctors at the Hosp led by Prof Elle and Prof Yusef, treated us with utmost professionalism. They calmly guided us through the process and made us understand what we are dealing with. They were not quick to rush into any interventions.. we felt very safe in their hands. A special thanks to Simaza our interpreter, you are a wonderful human being. Blessings lady. To The Professors, all medical professionals at the hospital, we are grateful. Hilal, Alişer and Simaza you the best. We would strongly recommend this team to any foreigner visiting Turkey for treatment.. we were happy! Blessings Read more less

I can recommend, BookiMed 100% who helped navigate the process
I had a very positive experience throughout my whole journey to get surgery in BCN. I was led to Dr. Conesa who was professional, attentive, caring, and . I felt completely confident in his skills and ability. He made himself available to speak to me at anytime before and after surgery, which was so appreciated. The hospital care was exemplary, it was impressive how quickly I moved through the preoperative visits, blood work, X-rays, anesthesia visit etc. Post op care was great. I had a very positive experience all the way through. I can recommend, BookiMed 100% who helped navigate the process . Read more less

They brought our boy back to life
From the bottom of our hearts we would like to express our gratitude to our doctor Ilhan Elmachi and his whole team. We are from Uzbekistan and when we were diagnosed with arteriovenous malformation we realised that this is the most complicated pathology of brain neurosurgery. Our boy is only 17 years old and therefore it is understandable what grief fell on us. But thanks to the clinic manager Florence Alisher, we came across our respected doctor. The operation lasted 17 hours. Two days later our boy was already in the ward. 15 days later we were home. Our boy is healthy Ilhan Elmachi is a high professional. THANK YOU for the sensitive and caring attitude to us doctor and his team and nurses They brought our boy back to life. Such people are like stars in the desert gave us hope. All health and success in science. May Allah protect you. Read more less

He really did a great job with helping me understand and setting up everything as much as possible to enable me to have as much of a successful productive visit as I could, which I very much appreciate
I had some logistical problems leading up to my arrival, but i got great help from translator whom helped me throughout my stay, with translations as well as guiding me through the stepps by Wassim. He really did a great job with helping me understand and setting up everything as much as possible to enable me to have as much of a successful productive visit as I could, which I very much appreciate. The coordinator at the location also did a good job of trying to piece together a solution as we tried to find out if I could see some specific doctors whilst i was there which im thankful for. Never come to the Artemis Clinic, treating patients is not worth the money paid, especially beware of an interpreter named Zhey. Firstly, he has very poor Russian language, never translates as it should, moreover, he was not present after the operation, while the patient was in intensive care, appeared three days after the operation with an invoice for payment in excess of the previously agreed amount. When we told him that his work did not suit us, he replied that these were our problems and we could go to another clinic, and the hospital would not fully refund the money paid to us. By the way, before we paid $ 6000 to the cash desk of the hospital, everyone was very polite with us including the interpreter Jay, and promised that they would take us to the operation the next day, but after payment it was as if everyone had changed, they started to be rude and rude especially to Zhey. They pulled the operation as best they could despite the terrible pain of the patient. Another translator, Ishvar, was a pleasant person with good knowledge of the Russian language. We wanted him, but for some reason we were not allowed, besides we heard that he was forbidden to help us and he already stopped answering our calls. So if you came to India for treatment it’s better to go to another clinic, but if you did come to Artemis when they will provide you with an interpreter, in no case do you agree to the services of an interpreter JAY! All consultations were organised in a highly professional manner with the necessary preparation
We received several counselling sessions and a proposal for treatment. All consultations were organised in a highly professional manner with the necessary preparation. We liked very much the approach of the counsellors. Convenient way of providing the necessary information and documentation, constant communication with the consultants and prompt responses, as well as the organisation of online meetings. All submitted documents were analysed by the doctor before the consultation, we received comprehensive answers to all the questions we had, as well as very important recommendations for additional examination. Only one minor disadvantage: during one of the consultations the connection was interrupted several times, but it did not affect the final result, the connection was restored and all unclear related issues were solved by repeated discussion. I'll start my review with Bookimed. Indeed, the guys helped a lot, in particular, Anton, Barbara, Nazrin. From the moment I turned to them, they tirelessly contacted me and provided all third-party support. Meeting, doctor's consultation and after. Really guys thank you! We agreed with Anton that we would go for a consultation at Liv Hospital. Special thanks to you. Now for the Liv Hospital itself. We turned to this hospital with an MRI scan - signs of osteochondrosis of the thoracic spine. The central protrusion of the VTh3 - VTh4 disk and vertebral bodies with marginal suspensions, the height of the vertebral bodies is preserved. End plates of vertebral bodies with clear, even contours. In the vertebral bodies Th2 (10mm), Th5 (10mm), Th10 (23mm), Th11 (3mm) and L1 (5mm), round sections with hyper-intense T1 and T2 HI signal characteristics (hemangiomas) are determined. We were prescribed a doctor Chagatai Ozturk. From acquaintances, from reviews and after talking with the doctor, I realized that the doctor is quite a professional in his field. Pros: 1. Modern hospital 2. Attention to the patient is good. 3. Amiable doctor 4. Well done consultants. Cons: 1. Very, well, very expensive treatment in relation to other hospitals in Turkey. For example, Memorial, Azhibadem, Medicana 2. Careful attention to the patient is a maximum of 10-15 minutes. After this time has passed, it seems that the doctor has lost interest in you and begins to engage in others on his computer. (at least I noticed this in relation to us) 3. Does not give other variations of the treatment although this could be given. Since having looked at our MRI remotely, Liv hospital sent us an invoice, we expected that after a live examination, the doctor would offer us other treatment options. 4. The doctor is very honest with the patient. He directly told us that after the operation does not guarantee that we will return to our previous health and will feel like an 18 year old healthy person. I do not know how much this psychologically affects the patient. For example, it negatively affected us or not. 5. We were offered to have an operation the amount of which amounted to $ 23,000 plus treatment and stay in Turkey for 15 days would cost us all this about $ 30,000. For this amount we were offered in Israel and Germany, and in India 3 times cheaper. We asked for a breakdown of this amount, which is included here. Unfortunately, they said they could not give it. I could not understand why. Then we asked to give us a price for hemorrhage vertebroplasty, after a two-day wait they said $ 7,000, although other hospitals asked for $ 3,000- $ 3,500 for vertebroplasty, and after they found out that we would only do vertebroplasty, and we won’t do the spinal surgery, interest our person at the hospital completely disappeared and they did not contact us even though we were there about 10 days after consulting with them. So the next day we went to several other hospitals in Turkey and stayed at the Sisli Momorial Hospital. I want to note that the Memorial is no different from Liv Hospital in terms of modernity and attention to the patient. Doctors are very kind prices are acceptable, the neurosurgeon in whom we were an expert in their field listened without being lazy. We were able to ask him all the questions we were interested in, both during the consultation and after treatment, and he was in contact with us all the time before and after the radio frequency denervation that we had with him. Something like this. All health and goodness
