On the 18th he underwent surgery with a vagus nerve stimulator on the 25th and it was connected. Dr Sait has worked wonders. Daytime seizures are very rare but nighttime seizures have changed completely. I am 35 years old and so far only the first connection 0.25 paediatric dose and 5 more connections. I underwent Gamma Knife surgery on my trigeminal nerve at Medical Park Clinic and I would like to express my huge gratitude to all the medical staff and especially to the professor who performed the procedure. The operation was difficult, as it involved the trigeminal nerve and there was a risk of injury to nearby nerves. However, thanks to the professionalism and high qualifications of the professor, everything went well. We are discharging from the hospital, we will keep in touch with this doctor. The procedures go terribly, there is no specific treatment prescribed yet, there is no diagnosis. Besides the fact that my daughter eats, has lunch, has dinner as in a usual sanatorium, they just rip off 600-700 euros per night - a lot of money when you don’t see the result, why stay, just overnight to pay money. Hello. We did not visit the clinic, we had a Skype conference on 05/30/19, at which Dr. A. Russi, through an interpreter, told his vision of the problem of epilepsy in children, ordered additional tests to adjust the dose of the drug (which was prescribed by Ukrainian doctors) and the purpose of treatment, assured accompanied by treatment for six months. We sent the test results on 01.06.19, today 06.06.19 treatment is not prescribed. Our questions came the answer that the doctor advises once a week and it is not clear what day. On January 21, we arrived at the Teknon clinic late at night, which pleasantly surprised us without any problems settled in the ward and the examination began in the morning. The clinic impressed us. The medical staff was incredibly polite and friendly. Everything, two days of examinations passed easily and naturally. Many thanks to the international department, Irina, who was in touch with us even at night, Olesya, who led us from September to January and reacted and responded to all my letters. Maria, who monitored all the sensors and indications during the examination and of course Dr. Antonio Russi! During the first 10 years of treatment of epilepsy, I heard a phrase from which all doctors fended off, as in Ukraine as in Russia. Need to find the CAUSE of epilepsy! It plays a crucial role in the selection of treatment. It is also worth noting that the participation of these wonderful people in the acquisition of essential drugs in Spain (we just brought them to the house) My family and I remember the time spent in Teknon with warmth and gratitude to all who were with us for this short time. From visiting the clinic and undergoing examination were only negative impressions. Appointed to the doctor for 10 days at a certain time, and got an hour later! All tests were taken promptly, in 1 day and promised the results and a visit to the doctor in 2-3 days (the doctor himself said that everything needs to be done very quickly, because I needed urgent treatment), and silence .... Irada I didn’t answer calls ... We only got contact with the help of Bookimed employees! In general, we got to the doctor only after a week, and we were told that we needed to do another examination !!! My one night stay in the hospital was a delightful experience, kind and available staff, every neat and hygienic room. The doctors are on top of their job. I was taken through a lecture in nuclear physics 101, broken in simple language. The lecturer helped allayed my initial fears about the treatment. The treatment was speedy and the results came so quickly. The doctor was by my bedside to explain the next steps. The translator was fantastic. The transportation service was superb, always on time. At the first consultation, the doctor promised us a 50% improvement in our son’s health, but on the contrary, his condition worsened. When we returned home, he began to get very sick; Perhaps the medications didn’t work and we went to the clinic. Unfortunately, they did not answer us. They did 7 sessions of ECT (Electroconvulsive therapy), which is very dangerous for epileptics, after which convulsive attacks began, which occurred several times a day. I was desperate and didn't know how to help. We had to hospitalize our son at a local clinic. Doctors requested an extract from the NP Istanbul clinic. I received the translation of the extract with difficulty after 20 days. I wrote to the translator about everything and he seemed to report to the doctors of the clinic. I waited a month, I thought that the doctors would get in touch and correct their mistakes and help in some way, but on the contrary, they again offer their services for a fee. I'm in great shock! I do not recommend this clinic to anyone!

We turned to this hospital with an MRI scan - signs of osteochondrosis of the thoracic spine. The central protrusion of the VTh3 - VTh4 disk and vertebral bodies with marginal suspensions, the height of the vertebral bodies is preserved. End plates of vertebral bodies with clear, even contours. In the vertebral bodies Th2 (10mm), Th5 (10mm), Th10 (23mm), Th11 (3mm) and L1 (5mm), round sections with hyper-intense T1 and T2 HI signal characteristics (hemangiomas) are determined. We were prescribed a doctor Chagatai Ozturk. From acquaintances, from reviews and after talking with the doctor, I realized that the doctor is quite a professional in his field. Pros: 1. Modern hospital 2. Attention to the patient is good. 3. Amiable doctor 4. Well done consultants. Cons: 1. Very, well, very expensive treatment in relation to other hospitals in Turkey. For example, Memorial, Azhibadem, Medicana 2. Careful attention to the patient is a maximum of 10-15 minutes. After this time has passed, it seems that the doctor has lost interest in you and begins to engage in others on his computer. (at least I noticed this in relation to us) 3. Does not give other variations of the treatment although this could be given. Since having looked at our MRI remotely, Liv hospital sent us an invoice, we expected that after a live examination, the doctor would offer us other treatment options. 4. The doctor is very honest with the patient. He directly told us that after the operation does not guarantee that we will return to our previous health and will feel like an 18 year old healthy person. I do not know how much this psychologically affects the patient. For example, it negatively affected us or not. 5. We were offered to have an operation the amount of which amounted to $ 23,000 plus treatment and stay in Turkey for 15 days would cost us all this about $ 30,000. For this amount we were offered in Israel and Germany, and in India 3 times cheaper. We asked for a breakdown of this amount, which is included here. Unfortunately, they said they could not give it. I could not understand why. Very pleased with the attitude towards patients. The staff was polite and courteous. They responded quickly to all my needs. They suggested the best alternative treatment and were very tactful during the operation. The operation was done under local anaesthesia, and painkillers have very little effect on me, but the doctor was very sensitive and understanding of my condition and patiently waited and increased the dose of anaesthesia until the action started. And during the whole operation constantly asked about my condition and even on small reactions of pain, which were reflected apparently in my face immediately responded. I did a similar operation 20 years ago in Germany - now it’s definitely better, now the postoperative period has been reduced to a day and it is less painful. The hospital is good, double ward and the conditions are comfortable. There is a shower in the room, it’s convenient. We spoke with Ralph Bull, a doctor before the operation. After the first consultation, there remained uncertainty whether to do the operation or not. In this regard, doctors are careful and if there is a risk of surgery with complications, they can offer injections and physiotherapy, which is cheaper and safer. Nevertheless, in my case, the doctor once again reviewed the MRI and decided to do the operation. Adequate treatment, do not inject too much, gave pain medication. In general, everything is fine, the postoperative period is small and everything is good so far. We definitely would not have such a result.

Nobody offered us a ward, and if we offered we couldn’t pay it, it’s about 500 dollars a day, the doctors’ approach is good, but I think we should warn the patient about his future expenses and give an alternative for treatment because he’s not ready for such expenses, thereby putting people in an awkward position by themselves, the procedures are very expensive or perhaps it seems to us expensive because we did not quite think about their prices like that. I think when you come to this clinic with a complex form of the disease, you need to have a good wallet, now I don’t have enough pills for treatment because it costs more than $ 1,700, I don’t have that much money, you know what to do after that. Maybe I'm complaining off topic, but it touched me during treatment, it would be nice if the clinic has its own hotel at a more affordable price. We counted on a week and stayed for a month. Before reading this review I want to make is completely clear that Dr. Ozenlap did a fantastic job. He was always present for anything that happened before and after the surgery. His team are amazing and kind. They take the time to help you. After leaving I have contacted him a few times and he responds right away with voice messages. Returning to Canada my post op nurse said my tummy tuck was one of the best she has seen done in Turkey. I would recommend contacting his clinic directly to arrange a consult and/or surgery as I will when I come for additional services. I highly recommend him. I had dealt with Zeneyp through the entire process and she was really helpful but as the date of my arrival approached it was just a bit more difficult. I did land in Istanbul on April 21st to do some traveling beforehand. A few days before I was to leave I followed up with her about my transportation from the airport. She told me it was too early (4 days) to set up the group chat. I then checked in with her the night before I flew out where I got the information. During our messages I confirmed with Zeneyp what my check in and out days would be since I was there a few days before hand. She confirmed I would check out April 24th and return on April 27th to the hotel (as outlined in my iteintery) I messaged the group chat on the 23rd asking when I would be picked up and was told I was not being picked up until the day of surgery of April 25th. I was ultimately charged for this date. When being admitted to the hospital on the 25th I was informed that the anesthesiologist would not go ahead because of the Lithium I take without it being in my system. One of my first messages with Zeneyp was the medications that I take. I was even asked to clarify my use of another medication so I know thought these would be recorded during the intake. While Canada will operate I understand that Turkey does not. If I had been made aware of this I would have received guidance from my doctor if I needed to stop the medication before I left for Turkey. Brining this up to Zeneyp she said that the anesthesiologist doesn’t know beforehand and this is how it works. I am certain that a surgeon and anesthesiologist would look at a file before preforming a surgery, like when it gets approved by the surgeon. Not when they’re walking into the hospital. Notifying the surgeon, etc of meds would have been her job and I Would be pretty confident that she erred in this. I would make sure that all your medications are checked before you leave for the long travel to Turkey so you are not delayed or worse yet, turned away. I was originally scheduled for a tummy tuck with Dr. Emre Ozanlap on April 25th, which was then delayed to April 28th because information about medication I take was not given to him prior to my arrival in Turkey. I was not provided with any reason on why there is no discussion between medical professionals prior to a decent size surgery. No matter how I tried to get a better explanation she would not give me one. This ended up with me having to pay an extra 3 days for the hotel (6 if we include both of the hospital arrival dates that were outlined) and a new flight home. **surgery happens** A couple days after my operation I go for my check up and your medical coordinator, Hisham, asked me about if I was getting lymphatic massages and was surprised I hadn’t been offered any. I was then contacted by Zenyep afterwards and set one up. During my initial massage the nurse was getting my incision tape contaminated (proper health measures were taken by her). I asked if this was ok and she said yes. I scheduled one for the next day and when the nurse saw the dirty tape she got on the phone with Zenyep. They spoke in Turkish so I don’t know what was said. The nurse fully took off my tape and told me Zeneyp would come by sometime with tape and I agreed I could re tape it once I got it. I waited a while and touched base with her with no response so I went and found a pharmacy for the tape because I flew out in a couple hours and did not want my incision just open. I later received a message that it was Sunday and the pharmacy’s were closed. Upon me telling her I just left a pharmacy she told me it was her day off. She was prepared to have me leave with an open incision while traveling over 18 hours. That was my last interaction with her. During the whole entire time she was never was accountable, apologetic or even empathetic. Always dodging any questions for clarification but basically saying “this is the way” The lack of due diligence by her or Doctor K Clinic as a whole could have left me in a worse situation physically than the inconvenience of the financial situation I find myself in. I do not recommend using their service for booking your surgeries. PLEASE MAKE NOTE OF THE ABOVE REVIEW OF DR. OZENLAP.
