Everything is high. The doctor came before the operation (did ablation) and said that it gives 99%, which will be a good result. Chamber for one person, everything you need is there, everything is thought out. Coordinator Pavel answered all my questions very promptly.
Met well, went to a consultation with a heart surgeon and took a cardiologist. There were clear questions that the surgeon could answer precisely. admission fee just to the wind.

My husband and I traveled from New Zealand to both get eye lens replacement surgery. From the start we have had print and effient communication. With every question answered. We liked Emsey clinic very much. we were met from the airport with an interpreter and a driver. then placed in a very good hotel. delicious food was served 2 times at the hotel. The hotel had spacious comfortable rooms with all amenities. On the 1st day we were brought for analysis, on the 2nd day they made a diagnosis, started treatment and we were placed in a ward. Within 5 days, we received the necessary treatment and good service. The doctors were very skilled and experienced. The coordinator Janseit was with us for 1 week and was very helpful in creating all the necessary amenities for us. Thanks to all the staff at Emsey Clinic.

Everything went quite well....first of all, of course, thanks to the girl Natalia Bruyaka, who was always in touch and helped solve all the questions that I had along the way...Thank you very much to her for her timely and quick help on throughout the entire period... Everything was organized well... we were met at the airport, a VIP transfer, a black Mercedes, the driver, unfortunately, I don’t remember his name - a great guy, just an ace, took him to the hotel... Everything in the hotel super, 5 stars, good finishing, excellent staff, we were accommodated on the 8th floor, with a beautiful view of the city.... The next day we arrived at the clinic... They paid there, and without delay, they invited us to the operating room... The team is excellent , young guys and girls, cheerful and relaxed, (they even sang songs during the transplant)... the transplant went quite quickly, they got it done in 5 hours, because the people know their stuff, they are all true professionals, both the doctor and the guy, who drew the hair line, and the girls who were assistants....Everything is at the highest level..The transplant itself is painless, only at the very beginning, when the painkiller was administered, it was a little painful, but it lasted about 10 minutes.. In general, I am satisfied with the transplant itself , I hope that the result will not be good, we’ll see in a year.. Then we were taken back to the hotel, and I spent that day in the room, did not go anywhere.... The next day I had a rest day, and the hotel staff organized a tour for us to the historical center of Istanbul... We had a great time there, and a day later they took me back to the clinic, showed me and washed my hair, and the ace driver took us to the airport... Bottom line: without much strain, I had a hair transplant and my wife and I had a great time in Istanbul, trying different dishes, making excursions and having the opportunity to shop... High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) is a non-invasive treatment option for prostate cancer. It uses focused ultrasound waves to heat and destroy cancer cells without damaging surrounding healthy tissue. This minimally invasive procedure offers several advantages over traditional treatments like surgery or radiation therapy:
Minimally invasive. HIFU involves minimal discomfort and no cuts to the skin.
Precise targeting of cancer areas preserves healthy tissues.
Short hospital stay. Most patients can go home on the same day as the procedure.
Rapid recovery. Recovery is typically quick, allowing patients to resume normal activities within two weeks.
Reduced side effects. HIFU is less likely to cause erectile or urinary problems compared to other prostate cancer treatments.
Retreatment options. HIFU can be repeated if the cancer returns, and it can be combined with other treatments as needed.
Who Is a Candidate for HIFU?
HIFU is typically considered for patients with:
Localized prostate cancer that has not spread beyond the prostate tissue. The most suitable patients have prostate cancer in stage T1 or T2 and with a Gleason Score under 7.
Low-grade or intermediate-risk prostate cancer, which is regarded as slow-growing. Patients undergo active surveillance and may be considered for HIFU once the tumor starts growing.
Previous treatment failure occurs when patients experience a recurrence after radiation therapy.
Contraindications to other treatments due to health reasons.
HIFU may be less effective for men with enlarged prostate glands (BPH) or calcifications. These conditions can limit the energy's reach and cause urinary problems due to increased swelling of the targeted tissue.
What Does the Procedure Involve?
The HIFU procedure typically involves the following steps:
Preparation with general anesthesia. The doctor will also insert the catheter to remove any liquids from the gallbladder.
Ultrasound imaging. The doctor inserts a transrectal ultrasound probe to visualize the prostate gland.
Focused ultrasound involves directing high-intensity ultrasound beams at the cancerous area. High-frequency ultrasound for prostate cancer heats the cancer cells at up to 110 С° temperature, destroying them.
Recovery iswhen the patient is monitored in a recovery room and discharged on the same day. Most patients can return to their everyday lives for a few weeks after the procedure.
While focused ultrasound for prostate cancer is generally considered a safe procedure with minimal side effects, some patients may experience:
Urinary incontinence is expected in the first days after. It will stabilize in 1 month-period maximum.
Blood in the urine may occur for a short period after tumor destruction. Doctors recommend higher water intake at this time to speed up the recovery process.
Erectile dysfunction is a potential long-term side effect, but the risk is lower compared to some other prostate cancer treatments (like chemotherapy or radiation therapy).
Incontinence is less common but may occur in some cases.
