Never come to the Artemis Clinic, treating patients is not worth the money paid, especially beware of an interpreter named Zhey. Firstly, he has very poor Russian language, never translates as it should, moreover, he was not present after the operation, while the patient was in intensive care, appeared three days after the operation with an invoice for payment in excess of the previously agreed amount. When we told him that his work did not suit us, he replied that these were our problems and we could go to another clinic, and the hospital would not fully refund the money paid to us. By the way, before we paid $ 6000 to the cash desk of the hospital, everyone was very polite with us including the interpreter Jay, and promised that they would take us to the operation the next day, but after payment it was as if everyone had changed, they started to be rude and rude especially to Zhey. They pulled the operation as best they could despite the terrible pain of the patient. Another translator, Ishvar, was a pleasant person with good knowledge of the Russian language. We wanted him, but for some reason we were not allowed, besides we heard that he was forbidden to help us and he already stopped answering our calls. So if you came to India for treatment it’s better to go to another clinic, but if you did come to Artemis when they will provide you with an interpreter, in no case do you agree to the services of an interpreter JAY!

The ward is excellent, the attentive staff, the surgeon is a master of his craft, testing, organization, time accuracy at a high level. It’s bad that there is a lack of Russian-speaking staff, without English knowledge it can be difficult to explain what is needed, the Russian-speaking Yako-coordinator is busy and it is difficult to find it urgently. The kitchen could to be more European, but enough food and quite tolerable. I ordered the interpreter when I met at the airport and departure separately.

My whole family against me coming to turkey for this operation from the Us they were very scared and I was a little nervous as well . I really liked the clinic. Logistics. Transfer. The doctors are competent. Competent. The equipment in the clinic is new and excellent. But the translators were very upset, it spoiled my impression of the clinic. This made me very sad! Dr lux , quality , no bruising after rhinoplasty , good doctor .
I was hungry, the hotel can be found better for such money. The nurse after the operation pricked 3 times hands not qualitatively. Who has fear to needles, blood, and I have this fear, on my request to call a specialist, I was refused.

Hospital fine, clean decent staff
Got gynecomastia surgery, emintha into healing moderately okay results, had maybe grade one maybe grade 2 gyno, got glands removed as I was very lean,
Surgeon made long incisions, along my chest, have two ling 3 Inch scars on either side of my nipples on both side of my chest
Fland wasn't fully removed on my left side so have recurring gyno,
Need steriod injection to help with scaring, surgeon isn't competent enough to go through the nipples to leave no scarring,
Pictures they send of before and after are a lie,
Probably look worse than before cant take my top off after,
The response to this was get laser treatment or steriod injections
Sub par save your money go somewhere else
Probably the same for most procedures they do

Many thanks to Sabina, Nigina - coordinators / translators, they did a great job, we could contact them at any time of the day and they supported the patient with all their hearts. Please note that everything here is based on Turkish, only doctors can communicate in English. It can be seen how much Turkey has advanced and is self-sufficient. I am grateful to fate that I met the professor - neurosurgeon Chagatay Ozturk. Easy to communicate, concise, it is immediately clear that the highest level specialist, after the examination, identified the problem and showed it on the MRI scan and explained what was to come. An operation was performed to remove the hernia on L5-S1 and a titanium disc was installed. The atmosphere of the team was very favorable and cozy, there was a high level of coherence and discipline. The concern was such that I did not feel any pain or heaviness, although they say that the operation was not an easy one. On the second day after the operation, I already walked and on the sixth day I was already discharged. Finally I got rid of pain and sleepless nights over the years! I did a similar operation 20 years ago in Germany - now it’s definitely better, now the postoperative period has been reduced to a day and it is less painful. The hospital is good, double ward and the conditions are comfortable. There is a shower in the room, it’s convenient. We spoke with Ralph Bull, a doctor before the operation. After the first consultation, there remained uncertainty whether to do the operation or not. In this regard, doctors are careful and if there is a risk of surgery with complications, they can offer injections and physiotherapy, which is cheaper and safer. Nevertheless, in my case, the doctor once again reviewed the MRI and decided to do the operation. Adequate treatment, do not inject too much, gave pain medication. In general, everything is fine, the postoperative period is small and everything is good so far. We definitely would not have such a result.

Laminectomy or open decompression of the spine is a low-traumatic operation during which the neurosurgeon removes part of the vertebra - the arch. The doctor prescribes it for intervertebral hernia, injuries and degenerative changes in the spine.
The main advantages of this treatment are a small blood loss during the operation and a quick recovery.
What are the types of open spinal decompression?
There are several types of operation:
- interlaminar - resection of the arches of two adjacent vertebrae;
- osteoplastic - after resection of the vertebral arch, the doctor closes the hole with a special implant;

What are the indications and contraindications for the procedure?
Indications:
- narrowing of the spinal canal;
- hernia of one or more intervertebral discs;
- bone growths (osteophytes) of the spine;

- disorders caused by pinching of the spinal cord (disorders of urination and digestion, loss of sensation and impaired mobility of the limbs).
Main contraindications:
- inflammatory or infectious diseases;
- pregnancy;
- acute or chronic disorders of the heart;
- respiratory failure;
- blood clotting disorders;
- diabetes;
- severe conditions caused by another disease.
What does preparation for surgery include?
Before the operation, the patient must undergo an examination:
- blood test;
- Analysis of urine;
- coagulogram;
- electrocardiogram (ECG);
- checking liver function;
- chest x-ray;
- CT or MRI of the spine
How is the procedure and recovery going?
During the procedure, the patient is under general anesthesia. The neurosurgeon makes a small longitudinal incision (up to 3 cm), removes the vertebral arches and sutures.

Full recovery period takes up to 6 weeks , during which you can not bend over sharply, lift weights and sit for a long time.
