Overall I have to give the bookimed team a top rating
The staff at Bookimed from the initial off-set answered all my questions, queries promptly. I was nervous with feelings swaying about my treatment. Upon arrival in Turkey from the airport transfer onwards, I have got to say all doubts were a contrast as to what I witnessed and to the treatment I received. On the first day the hotel staff were welcoming by the way I stayed local to VMH University Hospital Istanbul Besyol, at a budget I chose the World Point Hotel 700 meters away (Ramada Hotel was even closer.) I'm not arguing with what I paid, hygiene, cleanliness, manners, availability of staff, room, I got and witnessed. The transfer to the Hospital l walked with my translator, who put all my nerves and questions I had to bed, I must say I felt alot better. On arrival I was astounded, the smell of freshness, clean, I had to ask the translator how many floors 9 was the reply, Big, busy different ethnicities different cultures, vast array of people from all parts of the world, I felt comfortable. The level of equipment, the Doctors, staff members would not go amiss in any Country. The treatment I received the interaction which you have with the Doctor was of great effect to me as the knowledge about my treatment gained was instrumental in what was to happen. Overall I have to give the bookimed team a top rating. I would recommend anyone who is thinking of surgery abroad of any kind to get in touch with them, I can assure you, you will not be disappointed. Thank you.

The clinic itself is good, doctors are very wonderful specialists, but the work of the translator girl named Tanya is terrible, she met me well, during the operation she was with me for translation, but after she came only the next morning and said "I will check with the doctor for a second examination" and disappeared for 2 days, I could not get in touch with her, on the 4th last day she came in and we went to the doctor for the last check-up, where she said she would give me special protective glasses to wear, but she never did, she did not organise a transfer to the airport, she said she would call a taxi for which I would have to pay, as all the cars were occupied. She also accused me that I did not tell her in advance when I had a flight, but on the 1st day after the inspection I said that I had a ticket for the evening of the 6th. This is such an employee in a really good clinic.

Unfortunately, I had to deal with absolute chaos and incompetent staff for the first time. The nurses forgot to inject anaesthetic, which made me go through all the circles of hell immediately after the operation. To put the patient's health or even life at risk is an absolutely unacceptable mistake. They deviated from the surgeon's treatment plan. The staff simply do not understand how to mobilise the patient after the operation. I was pulled on both sides by hands from the bed, while I had stitches under my breasts and drains under my armpits. The drains were on the floor, to the indignation of the surgeon himself - the nurses were bickering. The clinic positions itself as international, but not a single person from the staff did not speak any other language than Turkish. On phone calls - the nurses were unresponsive. When you are in pain, money doesn't matter. I wanted to stay a couple more days in the clinic for $650 a day, not including medication. But after one night and forgotten medications by the staff, I realised I was better off checking out. The staff ran to a pharmacy three nine lands away for medication that should initially be on hand, the clinic does not have its own pharmacy. Head's interpreter, in a hostile posture reprimanded me for my dissatisfaction with the staff. The absolute unprofessionalism was astounding to me. The doctors are top, the clinic is not. I advise you to seek out Medicare doctors at other more professional clinics.

My impressions of the trip were extremely positive. From the organisation of the trip with the manager Ekaterina, to the transfer to the airport. I had the operation on the day of my arrival. I was accompanied by an interpreter at all stages. The procedure itself was quick and painless. The attending doctor Dr İBRAHİM YAŞAR was very pleased. Competent specialist, pleasant and communicative. After the operation I had two more days for recovery. The ward was very comfortable and clean, the staff was friendly and attentive. 3 meals a day. In general, I can safely recommend this clinic for such procedures, the attending doctor and Bookimrd service.
Competence of doctors, attentiveness of staff. Work of the interpreter. Quick solution of all organisational issues.
Slight delay in receiving invoices and documentation. Minor errors in completion.

Rude staff. And the trip turned out to be in vain. So much time, effort and money was spent. Documents were preliminarily sent, and extracts available at that time, treatment passed, etc. They invited me to the examination and obtain a preliminary treatment plan, although it was clear to the provided procurers that treatment was impossible. I had an extremely frustrating experience at the hospital . None of the staff spoke English, which made it nearly impossible to communicate my concerns and questions. To make matters worse, they refused to accept card payments, and instead, they provided third-party payment details, which raised a huge financial red flag for me. To add insult to injury, I was required to pay a deposit of $200 in cash, which I later found out was non-refundable. This is completely unfair and unacceptable. It left me feeling both financially and emotionally distressed, and I wouldn't recommend this hospital to anyone. Clear communication and fair payment practices are fundamental aspects of any healthcare facility, and this hospital failed miserably in both regards. In addition to the communication and payment issues, I must mention that the hospital was located in a completely unsuitable area for tourists. This made the overall experience even more distressing. Visitors to a foreign country expect medical facilities to be accessible and accommodating, but this hospital was situated in a place that made it extremely inconvenient and uncomfortable for travelers. It's an important factor to consider for anyone planning to visit the area and needing medical care.

I liked everything, I was a little scared when my son was taken to the mrt, but thank you everything went well, the analyses did not reveal autism in the child, we are happy, the cause of zprr is not known. Speech therapy and vitamins are prescribed. Further time will show. The clinic is clean and comfortable. However, the price for pulling a tooth was significantly high compared to other clinics because at that moment I had a toothache. Significantly high is 10 times more expensive, but in principle, the clinic is large, clean, and the devices are new.

I have retina detachments issues therefore I applied this group of individuals. When we agreed there was one professor the one week prior to my arrival we retired and I was offered Dr. Shaudig whom i eventually never met. On meeting in the reception I was advised that said professor was ill today. So I was routinely and e consumer,inglese inspected by a couple of young 1doctors who told me nothing new in the end. The story cost me min 1000 Euros. For just nothing. It could look funny that such cases still occur in the 21 sr century in Western Europe. I was promised a report on my case from the Professor but I’m still looking forward to enjoy it. This circus took places in a Hamburg 28.11.17. Think twice everyone. Not all the gold that glitters
