Coordination is very poor. At first, my mother was not met at the airport, she waited half an hour until the driver found her. Then at the hotel, which was booked for one price, they gave another, more expensive. It’s good that the transfer arrived at the clinic on time and the clinic did all the examinations. Before departure we managed to give the results of the surveys, but the overall impression is bad.

The rest I liked everything
Good evening! In the Severance clinic itself, I liked everything. Everything is very organized. Polite clinic staff. There was one caveat. Nobody told me that preparations for a colonoscopy will be delivered to the hotel. If I hadn’t come to Severance hospital the day before, I’ve found a girl who speaks Russian. She phoned the clinic and explained that the package should wait at the hotel. A. So I would not be prepared on the appointed day. The rest I liked everything. I plan to come to you in a year. Thanks for all !!

Relation to patients, regardless of the nation , equally kind and attentive. Certainly expensive. Sometimes tens of times than would cost the house, but it is better to go through the examination there once in three years than to wander from doctor to doctor for weeks at a time here and as a result get vague diagnoses and an incomprehensible treatment e. Successfully myomectomy Surgery
My uterus, my decision: First of all, I am genuinely grateful to Prof Cem Iyibozkurt of Florence Nightingale Istanbul for saving my uterus, which doctors in the UK have declared damaged and useless and saying that the only option for me was a hysterectomy, and I was totally against it. I recently had a successful myomectomy at the end of March 2025, which removed 81 fibroids, and the largest fibroid was a size 21x20 cm.
I was diagnosed with multiple fibroids in August 2023, which were in different locations. I had a protruded stomach, and I looked like 6 months pregnant. The fibroids also pressed on my pelvic nerves, causing my left leg to swell and causing excruciating pain. They were also pressing on my internal organs, causing my kidneys to swell, and I became incontinent because they were pressing on my bladder, and I could not empty the bladder. My menstrual blood was so heavy I had to request my employer to work remotely during my menstrual month as I needed to change pads regularly or change clothes in case they had overflowed.
I researched and came across Prof Cem Iyibozkurt with the help of Bookemed medical coordinator Olha and medical coordinator Alisher, who arranged my first video consultation with Prof Cem Iyibozkurt.
After a video consultation, I agreed on the date for my surgery, and then Olha and Alisher arranged all my appointments, hospital transportation, and airport pick-up.
I am genuinely grateful that my surgery went successfully. I spent 3 days in the hospital. On the discharge day, I felt good and confident enough to walk and had less pain around the stomach area.
Today is week 4, past surgery; my scar is healing beautifully and is invisible. You won't even know that I just had a myomectomy surgery. All the discomfort I used to have is gone. No more incontinence pads and my left leg no longer causes pain or gets swollen. I feel renewed.
I would recommend Prof Cem Iyibozkurt and Florence Nightingale Istanbul Hospital to any woman looking for the best doctor and hospital for myomectomy surgery.

In the questionnaire, there was a question regarding my health concerns which I responded to. I feel that those concerns were not visited with any doctors.
I liked the speed of the procedures and professionalism of the program staff. But it felt like I was on a factory line, too robot-like.
Wish I had known that I could keep my phone with me. I saw others using phones while waiting to get in to exam rooms but I did not now we were allowed to have phone on us.

I was in Severance on May 27, 2019 at a reception by the oncologist's homolog, and on the same day mammography and ultrasound of the mammary glands were done. For the conclusion they said to come on June 5th. I want to say a big thank you to my coordinator Lydia, I went everywhere, translated, sat and waited in queues with me. Service at the highest level! Today, on June 5, I came back to the homologue and she looked at the pictures and said that all is not well worry. And in Russia, they saw a tumor from somewhere. I was hungry, the hotel can be found better for such money. The nurse after the operation pricked 3 times hands not qualitatively. Who has fear to needles, blood, and I have this fear, on my request to call a specialist, I was refused.

I would like to express my gratitude to all the staff of the clinic for their professionalism, care and attention! From the moment of the first consultation to the discharge, I felt I was in safe hands. The doctors explained in detail all the stages of the operation, answered all my questions and supported me morally.
The operation was successful and the recovery was much easier than I expected thanks to the competent recommendations of the specialists. I liked the doctor's professionalism, competence, ability to explain the causes of pain in an accessible way, to show clearly the planned treatment, and also to warn about the need for further "self-doctor" behaviour for further recovery of health. The attitude of the staff is excellent.

With the organization of medical services, everything went clearly according to the previous plan. Tatyana, the representative of the company, is very communicative, explains everything, no complaints, even came at 7.30 for the procedure, although there was no translation. I made a slight remark, the price for some services was not announced to me , but in fact it was added... These side effects must also be voiced before the trip...... The hospital is on the level, I felt calm there, I have complete trust in the doctors, you can calmly go for treatment.....

Overall, the experience was very much worth. It’s so world changing to be able to see clearly again! The cost was so much better than in the US, and I was also able to get the lens I wanted that is not available in the US yet. Other than a false assumption about where my hotel was located, and the drivers having difficulty finding me, the only perimeter went pretty smoothly. I’m happy with the outcome. I would only suggest that there be at least one nurse or medical staff besides the doctor who speaks English. Many more paranoid, or less traveled Americans would have a hard time going through that honestly. I feel the service is very worth iit overall, those are just some recommendations to make the service excellent and a no-brainer for Americans who need medical procedures.
