To say that I was shocked by the doctor's approach to treatment is to say nothing. My impressions to you, just do not wish to experience. The operation was agreed in advance counselling and my wishes. The day of the operation came. In the morning I was picked up from the hotel and with an interpreter, I went through all the analyses. On the question when I will have a meeting with the doctor I was told at 9 am then I pointed out that I am allergic to one drug. But they wouldn't give me any medication before the operation without the doctor's consent. When I was already changed clothes for the operation ( I apologise myself in underwear, in an operating gown ) came the doctor and began to explain to me on his hands that it can not be like this, as I want and he sees it all differently. He began to explain to me with his fingers how it will be. Interrupting the interpreter. The interpreter couldn't keep up with the translation. Hurrying me to make a decision. I replied that I couldn't make a decision without seeing any pictures of what was waiting for me. Then after about an hour of dialogue, the doctor corrected the curvature of my nose on the telephoto in front of me and said here's what awaits you and covered the tip of my nose with his hand. Again we heard my refusal, to which I was told there is no time and I have to make a decision. They told me there was no time and I had to make a decision. My wishes were ignored. What was agreed upon before the operation was changed. My wishes were to correct the curvature and to change and reduce the tip of the nose. The result of the operation is that the curvature was not corrected and the septum remained the same. But the cartilage was grown on the side, which I did not ask for at all, and the nose was visually enlarged and the tip was corrected. Now I'm just shocked with my appearance to say the least. Everything was done at the discretion of the doctor. He ignored all my wishes. Putting me in front of the fact. Without showing me a single photo of what's in store for me. Explaining it to me on my fingers.

My son (17 years old) underwent septoplasty, correction of nasal septum. Dr Selman Sarica was very attentive, friendly and professional! All the staff of the clinic, above and beyond praise! Nurses, interpreters and of course Dr Selman, all worked professionally, quickly and smoothly. The clinic itself is very large, works in different areas, clean spacious rooms, the room has a shower, toilet, all bathroom accessories. I accompanied my son, for me also in the ward was a full place to sleep and rest, with bed linen, also provided meals. Thank you for your work! Elena)))

I can safely advise to interact with Bookimed.com and RHINOPLASTY CLINIC ISTANBUL DIRECTED BY OP. DR. CEM ALTINDAG. Had a septoplasty in Turkey (first surgery ever). Everything is quite efficient and client orientated and organised. Currently still in the process of recovery, but the effect in my case 3 weeks after the operation is there. I am grateful to the team of Bookimed.com and DR. CEM ALTINDAG.

The organisation and the journey itself in as well as customer focus.

This is my first operation, perhaps it should be, but it was a bit strange for me to have my first consultation with the doctor and subsequent payment just before the operation in the hospital room. It was a bit stressful.

Before finding you, I had experience communicating with two organizations that provide services in the field of medical tourism, but unfortunately, commerce and the desire to sell specific specialists without options is alarming and does not inspire confidence at all. On the other hand, I’m even glad that I had such a short communication experience, especially since I was able to evaluate the capabilities of Bookimed! In brief I can say that this Bookimed.com from my side does not deserve a lot of trust they have changed the price two or three times, and especially offensive that the last time it was changed before the operation in 20 minutes is when you have not eaten almost since 18.00 yesterday came to the clinic already lunch waiting for the operation. and you say the price has increased by 15% you agree, well where to go, to look for a new clinic time is needed and accommodation, if for example they said for a day I 100% refused and so run with things not everyone wants. Plus after the operation and with them to contact was difficult they responded to messages if possible and the next day or even a day later if it was a day off. And I will add that at the end you got a bigger nose than you wanted, although they assured it was swelling. Well, it's been more than a month and you can see not a big curvature even, as it was before. I don't know if it'll go away in a year, but that's a long time. I know that people in other clinics have had rhinoplasty and are happy with their nose after a week and every day more and more, but here, according to them, the nose will become like the photo only in a year.

That they do their job is not bad, but why do they have to be reminded of it all the time?

It is better to listen to the client's opinion, pay more attention, do not make decisions yourself without letting the client know.

The beginning of surgery was tough, doing the upper and lower Blepharplasty with shots and some pain reliever in my IV and I needed something a little stronger but I understand how careful the Dr was because I was under full anesthesia the minute the eye surgeries were done. The results are looking amazing and the swelling decreased daily. I’m not sure what oral pain meds I was on after surgery but it was perfect for me because I don’t like to be on very many pain meds and when the meds ended it was the time I usually stop taking any pain meds. I’m pleased with the results I’m seeing so far and it’s only 3 weeks post-op. Lilith and the the girls were amazing, Lilith helped be to the hotel nearby after my 2 day stay at the surgical hospital and she helped me with exchanging my money to pay my hotel bill because my Credit Union was blocking my use of my credit card. I recommend anyone from outside of Korea to make sure they have an account with a larger bank before getting surgery in another country. I can’t say how much I needed and got reassurance from the staff with removal of my stitches and just how conscientious the staff was that I would be as comfortable as possible. Dr Kim Yong Woo always asked if I had any questions and spend the time before and after surgery to make sure all my questions were answered. He did a good job on my surgery and I recommend him for anyone seeking plastic surgery in Korea.

I was nervous travelling to a different country where I don’t know the language for this operation. Also this surgeon and hospital was about 20% cheaper than other offers and I hoped that wouldn’t be reflected in the quality of care. I shouldn’t have worried! I felt taken care of the whole time. They went above and beyond to make sure I was Ok. Ismael my co-ordinator and translator was lovely and professional. The doctor did an amazing job with my nose and I am so happy with the results. I can 100% recommend this clinic and surgeon.

It's a nice small clinic. I will start with the supervisor: Karina, a wonderful girl, very friendly and professional, I was delighted with her. The nurses are mostly adult women with a lot of experience. The night after the operation I was pleasantly surprised that after pressing the call button I did not have to wait for them to come at all. The surgeon and anaesthetist are professionals.

For me, Memorial Antayla is the best hospital in Turkey. The care is phenomenal and better than I've ever had at home .
