"Clinic definitely recommend
When they learned what was needed in the clinic, they didn’t even know where to run and whom to contact. Coordinators helped to select a clinic. They gave us a doctor. Everything went great, the doctor is a true professional.  Separately, I want to note the attitude to patients. We were met at the airport, brought to the clinic and there was already a translator waiting. Literally "by the hand" we were taken to the doctors, everyone translated. Then they provided a taxi to the hotel.   During the operation, the ward was provided for two people - for the patient and the attendant; both of them were included in the cost of the operation.   After surgery, the doctor held a consultation, making sure that you can fly back. And only then answered questions remotely that arose.  Clinic definitely recommend

Doctors seemed professional. Low quality translation from Turkish to Russian and vice versa. For some reason, after PET KT (perhaps a coincidence), upon returning home, it was sharply worse. We had to urgently operate, although Turkish oncologists did not see the need for an operation, but offered to wait a month.

Hello, my name is Vladislav Ivanov, Ukraine, Odessa city. In February 2021, my daughter Vlada was diagnosed with anaplastic ependymoma, we went to the doctors for a week trying to find out why the child started having severe headaches. They went through examinations, did an MRI, and as a fact, they found a brain tumor. That's when the ground slipped from under my feet. Realization has come - this has already happened, which means you need to quickly take action. The first thing we did was go to the children's hospital in Kyiv, the child was given a shunt. But unfortunately, fluid began to collect in my head and my vision began to fall sharply. The doctors explained that an operation was urgently needed. We did not have a large accumulated amount, and we decided to complete the operation abroad. We contacted Bookmed. We contacted the employee Marina. Marina quickly found a clinic for us in Turkey, organized a trip for us, flew to Turkey in a matter of days. The hospital was already waiting for us. Examined, took blood for tests and the next day an operation was scheduled. Everything went well. Then they underwent a course of radiotherapy. The results are positive, we were sent home to Ukraine (August 2021). Every 3 months they underwent MRI, the pictures were good .. But a year later, in March 2022, we heard the terrible words “relapse”, “war”. Hastily collected the necessary documents and left for Lviv. From there, by large buses, all children with cancer began to be taken out along the humanitarian corridor from Ukraine to Europe. The daughter and his wife were assigned to France. A second operation was performed, the tumor was removed, and after that a course of chemotherapy was prescribed. After a month of taking the course, the doctor said that chemotherapy was not helping. The doctor suggested experimental chemotherapy, but that didn't help either. As a result, the daughter is getting worse and worse every day. The child began to walk badly, the right leg and handle practically do not work. The child melted before my eyes. It's all very scary, but it's worse to leave Vlad without an opportunity for treatment. I again turned to Marina Bookmed Marina again very quickly found us a hospital in Turkey, helped us with the flight Paris Istanbul. Arrived at the hospital 2 days later, the operation was successful!!! After the operation, the child began to talk, swallow, and after a couple of days to walk. We got to the MEMORIAL clinic due to an urgent diagnosis. The successful outcome of the operation depended on promptness. The question was about days. The operation was carried out the next day. Good day to all! Finally we got our hands on writing about the treatment of our child at the Sant Joan de Deu Barselona hospital. I would like to say once again a huge thank you to Bookimed for the help in choosing a clinic. This is not just a hospital, THIS IS A SUPER HOSPITAL !!! To be honest, they did not even expect that medicine could be of such a high level. About the staff separately: from nurses to professors of the clinic, damn well, all simple, normal, kind people. I have never seen such attention to a child, literally everything is scheduled by the minute, everyone is smiling, joking. In general, the little one did not understand that he had undergone a complex operation on the spinal cord. After the operation and coming out of complex anesthesia, the child never even cried and did not experience any pain (except for changing the dressing, removing the adhesive plaster). The hospital itself is huge, EVERYTHING FOR CHILDREN, everything is in pictures, slides, balls, a dinosaur farm. Everything has been done so that the children would not be afraid of doctors, etc. And a special BIG THANKS to our neurosurgeon Jose Hinojosa Mena-Bernal with a capital letter. This is a man with golden hands and a kind heart (just works wonders)! The child began to walk on his own 5 days after the operation. Thanks to Mikki, the resuscitator, a young guy who looked after the little one after the operation, like his son. And also the hospital's translator, Mikhail, who, together with us, empathized with everything that happened, thanks to nurse Svetlana who helped in all matters related to caring for the little one, including as an interpreter, and just a good kind woman. Thanks to our curator of the hospital for organizing the stay in the clinic, cheerful, always cheerful with a smile on her face Valeria, deciding all issues of hospitalization and treatment. They are professionals. Always with a smile, polite, with enormous patience, and most importantly, they understand that they work with a special audience, with people who did not come to rest. Someone to find out the diagnosis, and someone to do the operation. Thank you so much to the girls. The clinic was impressive. Doctors are professionals. The equipment is super. I got the opinion of a third party, it coincided with the opinion of a doctor from Kazakhstan. I was prescribed a prescription, I bought medicines at the pharmacy and started drinking on arrival home. I also want to write about Darina, who was engaged in transfer (the transfer to the clinic was very convenient and met and carried out), the selection of the hotel was also always in touch, and if I had any questions, she quickly answered them. I want to say that I am very happy for getting to know BOOKIMED, professionals really work there, and most importantly, they are not indifferent people. Good day! I would like to share my impressions of being in the clinic. Thanks to the coordinators, the staff of the international clinic center, all wishes were taken into account. Special thanks to the attending physician, the procedure was perfect, the staff is very attentive, courteous. They are located in a 5-bed room, but at the same time there is no discomfort, food can be chosen taking into account personal taste preferences (Korean, European cuisine) and at the same time satisfying and varied. I can say one thing, there is no limit to my gratitude, my recommendations to friends, acquaintances only this Clinic! The prices are reasonable.
