Ahmet Demir

Dr. Ahmet Demir is a distinguished pediatric oncologist and oncohematologist with more than two decades dedicated to the treatment of acute leukemia, Hodgkin lymphoma, and various childhood blood diseases. Notably, he is proficient in performing transplantation. His prolific research and publications in pediatric oncology have garnered him international recognition.

Education

• Obtained his bachelor's degree from Istanbul University Cerrahpasa Medical Department (1993-2000).
• Specialized in Pediatric Oncology at Hacettepe University, Ankara (2000-2005).
• Completed his residency at the Institute of Oncology of Hacettepe University, Department of Pediatric Oncology (2005-2009).
• Holds a Master of Science degree in Pediatric Oncology.

Awards

• Awarded the title of Associate Professor in the specialty 'Health and Diseases of Children' in 2012.
• Appointed as a professor at Istanbul Gelishim University in February 2020.
