Dr. Aykut Recep Aktas is a specialist in interventional radiology. He focuses on treating varicose veins, using advanced imaging, and performing minimally invasive procedures in oncology. He has over 20 years of experience. Dr. Aktas has played a key role in developing interventional radiology units at major medical faculties.
He is a founding faculty member at Near East University. He has also supervised interventional radiology at Süleyman Demirel University. Dr. Aktas is an active member of the Turkish Radiology Association and the European Society of Radiology. He has published his research in many medical journals, showing his dedication to improving radiological practice.
Dr. Aktas's medical journey started at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine, where he completed his medical education and later specialized in interventional radiology. He has over two decades of experience in his field. Dr. Aktas was a founding faculty member at Near East University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Radiology, and supervised the Interventional Radiology Unit at Süleyman Demirel University Faculty of Medicine.
