Dr. James White is a board-certified otolaryngologist. He specializes in head and neck surgery. He was the first in Lafayette to perform cochlear implants. He also introduced transoral robotic surgery for tonsil and base of tongue cancers. These advances have improved ENT care in the region.
Dr. White treats general ENT conditions, head and neck cancer, parotid masses, and ear disorders. He performs transoral robotic surgery and cochlear implantation. He holds a faculty appointment at LSU and serves on the Lourdes Foundation Board. Dr. White has received several teaching and clinical excellence awards. He is also a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.
