Laureate of the State Prize of Ukraine in science and technology (2015). For the first time in Ukraine, Konstantin Kopchak performed the following laparoscopic surgical interventions: enucleation of a pancreatic tumor, cystoenterostomy, distal resection of the pancreas, and without splenectomy, pancreatoduodenal resection.
Dr. Konstantin Kopchak is a Senior Researcher at the National Institute of Surgery and Transplantology. He also works as a Leading Research Fellow at the National Cancer Institute. His main focus is surgical treatment and diagnostics, especially for pancreatic cystic diseases.
Dr. Kopchak has defended his thesis and written over 170 scientific papers, including 2 monographs. He has 30 publications indexed in Scopus (h-index: 2), showing his strong contribution to medical research.
Location
Konstantin Kopchak defended his thesis for the degree of Doctor of Medical Sciences on the topic “Substantiation of the diagnostic program and tactics of surgical treatment of patients with cystic pathology of the pancreas.” Has 30 scientific papers in the scientific metric base Scopus (h index-2). Senior Researcher at the National Institute of Surgery and Transplantology named after V.I. A.A. Shalimov National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine. Takes part in scientific topics of the department as a co-executor and responsible executor. Leading Research Fellow at the National Cancer Institute. Co-author of over 170 scientific papers, including 2 monographs.
