• Thoracic Surgery : Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota, and Massachusetts General Hospital, New England Deaconess Hospital (Harvard Medical School), Boston, USA (1986-1987).
• Experience at the Red Cross Hospital and Sagrat Cor de Barcelona (1988-1989).
• Career : Consultant physician (1990-1993), clinical director (1994-1999) and director of the thoracic surgery service at a private medical centre in Barcelona (2000 to date).
• Head of the Thoracic Surgery Service at the Hospital Clínic de Barcelona (March 2010 to present).
