Cardiologist, Interventional cardiologist
Dr. Lorenzo Arce is a board-certified interventional cardiologist. He is accredited by the Mexican College of Cardiology. He focuses on ischemic heart disease, atrial fibrillation, hypertension, and heart failure. Dr. Arce founded the Cardiovascular Institute of Tijuana and the Interventional Cardiology Program in Tijuana. He has played a key role in improving cardiac care in the region.
He has served as Chief of Cardiology at Hospital Regional No. 1 IMSS. He also directed the Cardiovascular Prevention Program. Dr. Arce is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC) and a member of the Mexican Council of Cardiology. He has trained many cardiologists and led programs that have improved outcomes for thousands of patients.
Dr. Lorenzo Arce has made significant contributions to cardiology, holding positions such as Chief of Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology at the Hospital Regional No. 1 of the IMSS, and director of the Cardiovascular Prevention Program. He also served as an associate professor of Cardiology at several universities.
