Dr. Petr Valis is an experienced orthopedic specialist with over 35 years at University Hospital Brno. He is the Deputy Head of the Orthopedic-Endoprosthetic Department. His main areas are sports medicine, sports injuries, and joint replacement. He focuses on treating cartilage defects in all joints.
Dr. Valis has completed advanced training in leading European centers, such as Cologne and Brussels. He has led important research projects on cartilage repair. He has given 91 lectures and published 38 scientific papers. He is an active member of the Czech Society for Orthopedics and Traumatology, the Society for Sports Traumatology and Arthroscopy, and the Czech Society for Bioimplantology.
