Onder Tan

Dr. Onder Tan is a highly skilled and respected plastic and reconstructive surgeon with over 16 years of experience in the field. He has made significant contributions to his specialty, particularly in the development of unique cleft lip repair methods - TAN I and II techniques, and the invention of a preoperative planning device, TABMA, for breast reduction and lift surgeries.

Awards

• Received the Turkish Society of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery award in 2014 for his work on sensory reconstruction of lower extremity defects.
• Won the first prize in the Expert Research Competition Clinical Category at the 34th National Turkey Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Congress in 2012.
• Awarded the International Cleft Lip & Palate Foundation Award of Merit for his research on a new technique in primary cleft repair in 2012.
• Received the third prize in the Best Poster Presentation Competition at the Selcuk University & Mayo Clinic World Plastic Surgery Joint Special Meeting in 2011.
• Received the Top International Broadcasting Academic Award from Atatürk University Faculty of Medicine in 2010.
• Received the Academician Award from Atatürk University Faculty of Medicine in 2006 and 2008.

• Graduated from Bursa Uludağ University Faculty of Medicine in 1986.
• Received his M.Sc. in Medicine from Izmir Dokuz Eylul University Faculty of Medicine in 1992.
• Specialized in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Van Yüzüncü Yıl University's Faculty of Medicine in 1997.
