Stefan Fichtner-Feigl

Univ.-Prof. Dr. Stefan Fichtner-Feigl new Medical Director of the Department of General and Visceral Surgery at the University Hospital of Freiburg. He succeeds Univ.-Prof. Dr. Ulrich Hoptwho retired. Prof. Fichtner-Feigl studied medicine in Würzburg and most recently was deputy director of the Department of Surgery at the University of Regensburg. His research interests include experimental and translational tumor immunology and chronic rejection of foreign tissue after organ transplantation.
