General surgeon
Dr. Vincenzo Tondolo is the Director of the General Surgery Unit at Mater Olbia Hospital. He earned his Medical Degree with Honors and completed his General Surgery specialization at the Catholic University of Rome.
Dr. Tondolo has performed more than 1,300 surgeries as lead surgeon. His experience includes liver, pancreas, and kidney transplants. He has also carried out over 500 oncologic operations, mainly using laparoscopic techniques. In addition, he has managed more than 370 emergency surgeries.
He is a member of the Italian Society of Surgery and the Italian Society of Oncologic Surgery. Dr. Tondolo has published work as both author and co-author in international medical journals.
