Winfried Rebhandl

Professor Winfried Rebhandl completed his studies with Professor E. Horcher at the University Hospital for Pediatric Surgery (AKH) in Vienna. In 2001, thanks to his extensive scientific work in the field of pediatric surgery, he was granted a license to teach this subject (Habilitation - Univ.Doz.) Since 2002, he becomes deputy head of the department, and in 2011, for two years, Head of the Department of the University Hospital of Pediatric Surgery at the Vienna General Hospital. In 2014, he was appointed as professor at the University of Pediatric Surgery, by Federal President. Dr. Rebhandl has over 25 years of professional experience at the renowned University Hospital (Vienna General Hospital) with extensive clinical training and experience in pediatric surgery.
