At the Carolina Medical Center I am the head of the Department of Orthopedics, Traumatology and Sports Medicine. In addition, I worked at the Sports Medicine Department of the Central Clinical Hospital of the Ministry of Interior and Administration, the Rheumorticology Clinic of the Institute of Rheumatology and the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology of the Hospital of the Ministry of Interior and Administration. I held the position of orthopedic consultant for the Legia football club, a doctor of the Polish Swimming Association and a doctor for the youth team of the Polish Basketball Association.

I specialize in meniscus transplantation, cartilage reconstruction, multi-ligament reconstruction and osteotomies within the knee joints, shoulder arthroscopy and the treatment of soft tissues, tendons and ligaments. Dr. Tomasz Kowalski is an experienced specialist in orthopedics and traumatology. He is the Deputy Head of Department at Carolina Medical Center. He focuses on sports orthopedics, regenerative medicine, arthroscopy, and surgery of the shoulder and elbow joints.

Dr. Kowalski completed advanced training at UCLA. There, he focused on sports orthopedics and research for musculoskeletal injuries. He also trained in arthroscopy and joint reconstruction at leading UK hospitals, including The Royal Orthopedic Hospital and Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

He previously led the Orthopedics and Traumatology Department at Wye Valley NHS Trust. He also trained resident doctors. Dr. Kowalski is known for his surgical skills and holds international accreditations in orthopedic surgery.

I am a specialist in Orthopedics and Traumatology of the Musculoskeletal Sy. 

For 7 years I have been cooperating with the Junior High School Youth Sports Training Centre in Lublin, taking care of young football school students. At the same time, I work closely with the players of the Górnik Łęczna football club. In 2018, I completed a prestigious internship in the field of traumatology of the musculoskeletal sy at Landeskrankenhaus-Universitätsklinikum Graz, where, under the supervision of the best specialists, I improved my surgical skills in the treatment of musculoskeletal sy injuries. I participate in many conferences and trainings both in Poland and abroad. I am actively involved in scientific development, which is manifested in scientific cooperation with the Lublin University of Technology in the development and testing of innovative medical devices. In everyday life, I am an active athlete, by which I mean the need for quick and effective treatment for both professional and amateur athletes. My interests include all dysfunctions of the musculoskeletal sy in athletes, as well as pediatric orthopedics and traumatology. I accept children from 3 years of age.
