Best pediatric oncologists in Istanbul: TOP 80 doctors

I have graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine. Motivated by the frequent cancer cases she encountered in her family and circle, Pehlivan turned to the field of Oncology and made observations in the Radiation Oncology Department at Boston University, where she spent her internship. Afterwards, she completed her Radiation Oncology specialization training at Hacettepe University and stayed abroad for a long time.

Pehlivan, who constantly renews himself by conducting research on global technologies in the fight against cancer, took part in many scientific studies in France and Switzerland between 2004 and 2009. Continuing his studies in the France European Cancerology Program, Lausanne University Radiation Oncology Department, Switzerland Villigen Paul Scherrer Institute Proton Therapy Center and France Orsay Proton Therapy Center, Pehlivan returned to Turkey to share his experiences first-hand with his own people.

Following his studies at Akdeniz University Faculty of Medicine, Başkent University established the Radiation Oncology Department of Medstar Antalya Hospital within the Memorial Health Group.

Having signed many articles, scientific publications and projects in national and international arenas, Pehlivan continued his studies at Medical Park Bahçelievler Hospital, Medical Park Göztepe Hospital and Altınbaş University until the end of 2018. He is the author of the book “Cancer in 50 Questions”. He writes articles under the name of Science Corner in the Cadde Supplement of Milliyet Newspaper.

Prof. Dr. Berrin Pehlivan currently trains future scientists as a faculty member at Bahçeşehir University, Department of Radiation Oncology.

He continues his work as a consultant physician at the MedAustron Particle Therapy Center in Vienna/Austria and at the BP Clinic, which he founded.
