Assoc. Prof. Nuri Alper Şahbaz is an experienced doctor with medical education from Istanbul University, Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine, and scientific and clinical experience from Baylor College of Medicine and The University of Texas Medical School. He graduated from Ankara Science High School and went on to complete his Internal Medicine internship at London Ealing General Hospital, as well as his compulsory service as a general practitioner in Siirt 1984-1986. He then completed his residency in Haydarpaşa Numune Hospital, Radiodiagnostics Department, and graduated from Anadolu University, Department of Business Administration. He received his titles of associate professor and professor in the field of Radiodiagnostics and has published 47 articles, 14 of which are abroad and 33 of which are domestic. He is currently working as Dean of Maltepe University Faculty of Medicine and Head of Radiology Department and is a member of the Turkish Radiology Association, Medical Imaging and Interventional Radiology Association.
