Prof. Baris Akin is a highly esteemed professor of surgery based in Istanbul, Turkey, with a specialization in kidney and pancreas transplantation. He received the 'Young Investigator Award' at the American Transplant Meeting in 2004 and has successfully conducted over 1200 kidney transplantations in Turkey.
