Dt. Elif Nurhak Erdal

She was born in Salihli, Manisa in 1975. She completed her secondary education at Salihli Sekine Evren Anatolian High School and her higher education at Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry and graduated successfully in 1999.
In the same year, she started working as an assistant professor at the I.U. Faculty of Dentistry, Department of Community Oral and Dental Health, and completed her master's degree with high honors at the I.U. Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine, Department of Public Health in 2003. During her four-year academic education, she worked as a lecturer at the Yeditepe University Faculty of Dentistry and had the opportunity to work in various private clinics.
Since 2003, he has been a practical training consultant for dentists in aesthetic dentistry and teeth whitening at Güney Diş Deposu. As the head of domestic training activities for Ultradent / Kerrhawe companies, he organized courses for local and foreign dentists, participated in many international congresses and fairs on the subject, and had the opportunity to closely follow dental technology. He started working at Cosmodent Dentistry and Implantology Center in 2005. In 2007, he founded "Gülümse Dental Clinic" with his doctor friend in Perpa Trade Center. He has been providing services in Osmanoğlu Hospital since September 2013. Skull Aesthetics
 

Skull reshaping, also known as skull reshaping, can be done using many different methods. Cranioplasty surgery and plastic surgery that involves placing a specially produced 3D implant into the skull provide the most accurate results.

Later, I had the chance to work as a clinical research fellow (observer doctor) with Prof. Dr. Mustafa Başkaya at the University of Wisconsin in the USA. After returning from the USA, I worked at Okmeydanı Education and Research Hospital for another four years and started working as a specialist doctor at Medicalpark Bahçelievler Hospital in 2020.

Prof. Dr. Süleyman Alıcı completed his medical education at Atatürk University Faculty of Medicine. (1990) He later specialized in Internal Medicine between 1991-1995 at Selçuk University Faculty of Medicine Internal Medicine Clinic. He worked as an Assistant Professor at Yüzüncü Yıl University Faculty of Medicine Internal Medicine Clinic between 1996-1997. He obtained his subspecialty training in Medical Oncology at Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine (Çapa Medicine) between 1997-2000. After that, he worked again at Yüzüncü Yıl University Faculty of Medicine between 2000-2005 and established the Medical Oncology Department. He served as the head of the relevant department, providing training services to research assistant doctors and student education. He has supervised the theses of 2 research assistants in the internal medicine clinic. Alıcı, who received the title of Associate Professor in 2004, served as the clinical chief of the Medical Oncology Clinic at Ankara Atatürk Training and Research Hospital between 2005-2008. He was responsible for the formation and establishment of the Medical Oncology Clinic at the same hospital, providing training to Medical Oncology residents. In 2007, he received training and worked as an observer at Dana Farber Cancer Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital in the fields of gastrointestinal tumors, breast cancer, and lung cancers (Thoracic Cancers).

Prof. Dr. Süleyman Alıcı, who took part in the opening and establishment of Medicalpark Göztepe Oncology Hospital (2008-2017), worked at Acıbadem Hospital/Altunizade Branch in the Medical Oncology Clinic between 2017-2023.

Alıcı has over 70 published articles in international peer-reviewed journals and over 50 scientific studies published in domestic peer-reviewed journals. He has presented over 100 papers at scientific meetings both domestically and internationally. In addition to his memberships in the European Society of Medical Oncology and the American Society of Clinical Oncology, he also has memberships in oncology associations within the country. He has received more than 10 scientific publication incentive awards from TÜBİTAK and some medical oncology associations.

Prof. Dr. Ümmügül Üyetürk completed her undergraduate and graduate education at Uludağ University Faculty of Medicine between 1988-1994. She specialized in Internal Medicine at Istanbul Training and Research Hospital from 1998 to 2003. Between 2008-2011, she received her subspecialty training in Medical Oncology at Ankara Oncology Training and Research Hospital.

After serving as the deputy chief physician at Suluova State Hospital, she established the Internal Medicine Department and Medical Oncology Science Branch at Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University between 2011-2020, where she served as the head of the science branch. During this time, she educated resident doctors and students. Üyetürk, who received the title of Associate Professor in 2014, spent 6 months in Canada/Toronto in 2019. In 2020, she was awarded the title of Professor at Abant İzzet Baysal University.

Üyetürk has published over 60 articles in international peer-reviewed journals and has more than 20 scientific works published in national peer-reviewed journals. She also has over 100 presentations that have been delivered at international and national scientific meetings and published in proceedings books. In addition to her membership in the European Society for Medical Oncology, she has memberships in medical oncology associations within the country. She has received more than 10 awards given to her at universities and congresses.

Assoc. Dr. Görkem TÜRKKAN started his medical education at Gülhane Military Medical Academy in 2003 and completed it in 2009 at Zonguldak Karaelmas (Bülent Ecevit) University Faculty of Medicine. He completed his residency in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Trakya University Faculty of Medicine and became a radiation oncology specialist in 2016.

After completing his compulsory service, he served as a Doctor Lecturer and Head of Department at Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Radiation Oncology from May 2019 to February 2021. During this period, between March and June 2020, he worked as a clinical researcher in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Maastricht University Medical Center–MAASTRO Clinic (Netherlands) on studies related to stereotactic radiotherapy, thoracic radiation therapy-associated lung toxicity, and proton therapy. Between March 2021 and April 2023, he worked at the Radiation Oncology Department of Istinye University Faculty of Medicine and Liv Hospital Ulus Radiation Oncology Clinic, where he received the title of Associate Professor in February 2023. He has been providing services to his patients at Hisar Hospital Intercontinental since May 2023.

Throughout his professional life, he has performed both traditional and advanced radiotherapy practices. Particularly, he is one of the experienced physicians in Turkey in stereotactic radiotherapy and MRI-guided radiotherapy treatments, which are gaining popularity and usage recently. So far, he has successfully completed over 2500 radiotherapy sessions using the MR-Linac device.

Since 2013, he has been a member of the Turkish Radiation Oncology Society (TROD) and since 2015 a member of the European Society for Radiotherapy and Oncology (ESTRO). He has 27 published articles in national and international journals, 31 oral-poster presentations at national and international congresses, and 5 book chapters published by national and international publishers. He has taught undergraduate courses in Period I and Period V at Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University Faculty of Medicine, master’s courses within the ENT Department Specialist training, and Radiation Therapy associate degree courses at Istinye University Health Services Vocational School. Prof. Kıvanç Derya Peker completed his medical education and general surgery specialization at Istanbul University Istanbul Faculty of Medicine (Çapa). After his major specialization, he got his Gastroenterology Surgery Specialization from the Gastroenterology Surgery Clinic of Kartal Koşuyolu Yüksek İhtisas Training and Research Hospital by entering the top 3 in the minor examination.

During his sub-branch assistantship, he received a scholarship from the Turkish Surgery Association and worked at Mayo Clinic (Rochester, USA) Hepatopancreatobiliary Surgery Clinic and Obesity-Metabolic Surgery Clinic. After returning to Turkey, He was one of the founders of the Hepatopancreatobiliary Surgery unit at Bakırköy Dr. Sadi Konuk Training and Research Hospital. Peker provided Hepatopancreatobiliary Surgery training to general surgery residents and gastroenterology surgery residents in this hospital, which is accepted as a training unit by the Turkish HPB Association.

On the other hand; In order to learn , cancer biology, cellular properties of obesity and aging, he did his doctorate and thesis on aging at Istanbul University, Istanbul Faculty of Medicine (Çapa), Department of Medical Biology. Then, he moved to Başakşehir Çam and Sakura City Hospital to establish the Gastroenterology Surgery Clinic.

Especially in his career; He is interested in Pancreatic Diseases and Surgery, Gallbladder and Bile Duct Diseases Surgery, Liver Cancer Surgery, Stomach Cancer Surgery and Obesity-Metabolic Surgery. Peker has carried out many successful operations. He has performed over 400 pancreatic and gastric cancer surgeries, over 200 liver surgeries, many surgeries related to gallbladder and biliary tract diseases, obesity – metabolic surgery and endoscopic treatments, and kidney transplants so far. He is also interested in aging and stem cell treatments.

Dr. Hilmi Aksoy received his medical education at Istanbul University, Çapa Medical Faculty, and his specialization training in Radiodiagnostics and Interventional Radiology at Istanbul University, Cerrahpaşa Medical Faculty.

Since 2014, he has been actively working as a Supervisor radiology specialist at Affidea Group, which provides radiology services in 146 centers across 16 countries in Europe.

Dr. Hilmi Aksoy has published 56 articles in national and international journals and presented 20 oral posters and papers at national and international congresses. He is also a chapter author in two books.

Since 2002, he has reported an average of 15,000 CT and MRI examinations annually and performed between 120-160 interventional radiology procedures monthly for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes.

Among the most common interventional procedures he performs are Biopsy, Drainage, Port Placement, TACE, Prostate Embolization, Thyroid Nodule Ablation, Calcific Tendinitis Treatments, RF Ablation Treatments, and Varicose Vein Treatments. He continues his academic career at Galata University as a lecturer and head of the Medical Radiology Technician Department.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tamer Aksoy graduated from Eskişehir Osmangazi University in 2000. After serving as the Management Representative of SSK Tavşanlı Hospital, he worked as a Practitioner in the Endocrinology Department of SSK Ankara Etlik Education and Research Hospital. In 2005, he began his residency training in the Nuclear Medicine Department of Hacettepe University and completed his specialization in 2009, becoming a Nuclear Medicine specialist.

After serving as an Assistant Professor in the Nuclear Medicine Department of Afyon Kocatepe University Faculty of Medicine, he started working at Haydarpaşa Numune Training and Research Hospital in 2011. In 2012, Aksoy worked as a Lecturer in the Acıbadem Hospitals Group and Acıbadem Mehmet Ali Aydınlar University Faculty of Medicine, and he ended his role at the Nuclear Medicine Clinic of Health Sciences University Istanbul Training and Research Hospital in 2023.

In 2012, he participated as an observer in studies on PET imaging, Lymphoscintigraphy, and Radiolabeled Therapies at the Nuclear Medicine Clinic of Netherlands Cancer Institute – Antoni van Leeuwenhoek (NKI) Hospital (Amsterdam/Netherlands). He received the title of Associate Professor in February 2023. Since May 2023, he has been serving his patients at Hisar Hospital Intercontinental.

Throughout his professional career, he has particularly focused on patient acceptance and follow-up regarding PET/CT examinations and Radiolabeled Therapies.

He is a member of the Turkish Medical Association, the Turkish Nuclear Medicine Society, and the European Association of Nuclear Medicine. He has published 46 articles in domestic and international journals, presented numerous oral and poster presentations at national and international congresses, and authored 2 book chapters published by national and international publishers. He has contributed to the preparation of Practice Guidelines published by the Turkish Nuclear Medicine Society and served as an Educator in the “Nuclear Medicine School” organized by the Turkish Nuclear Medicine Society. He has served as a reviewer for various international journals. He has also been an invited speaker and session chair at various national and international meetings. Three of his national and international studies have received awards for best research and publication.

He has taught Master’s, Bachelor’s, and associate degree courses in the Faculty of Medicine, Radiology, and Radiation Oncology Health Vocational Schools at Afyon Kocatepe University, Acıbadem Mehmet Ali Aydınlar University, and Hamidiye Medical Faculty of Health Sciences University, as well as the International Medical Faculty. He has served as the principal investigator in a completed multi-center study abroad on Kidney Tumors.
