Ayhan Ozcan, M.D., is a professor of pathology and worked as a faculty member in the Department of Pathology at Gülhane Military Medical Academy, School of Medicine, Ankara (2001-2016) and Yeni Yüzyil University, School of Medicine, Istanbul (2016-2018) in Turkey.

He worked as a visiting scholar in the Renal and Transplant Pathology Laboratory and also as a researcher in Renal Research Laboratory, Department of Pathology, College of Medicine, Ohio State University for 8 months in 2011. 

He active scholarly endeavors include section editor and peer-reviewer for scientific journals, and lecturer in national scientific meetings. His H-index is 24.
