The founder of Smile Academy, Dr. Dr. Yaprak Kalkan was born in Istanbul in 1988. She graduated from Marmara University Faculty of Dentistry in 2011. She went to Turku University in Finland to carry out the experiments of her studies on diabetic patients during her doctorate, which she started in the Department of Periodontology of the same university.
