Prof. Dr. Serdar Bedii Omay is a respected hematologist. He specializes in Hematology and . He graduated from Hacettepe Medical School in 1985. He completed his Internal Medicine training at Ege University in 1990. He earned his PhD in Hematology at Japan Mie Medical School in 1995.

Dr. Omay has published 65 scientific articles, 112 meeting papers, and 34 international conference presentations. He has served as a professor at Ege University and Karadeniz Technical University. He also worked as a Hematology Specialist and Molecular Hematology Doctor in Japan. His career shows strong expertise and international recognition in his field.

Prof. Dr. Birol Baytan is a respected pediatric hematologist. He focuses on diagnosing and treating childhood cancers, leukemia, anemia, and bleeding disorders. He graduated from Ankara University Medical Faculty in 1992. He completed his specialization at Uludağ University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Child Diseases.

Dr. Siret Ratip is a hematologist and oncologist with over 25 years of clinical experience. He focuses on internal medicine and hematology. He has worked as an associate professor at respected institutions, including University College Hospital in London.

Dr. Ratip is a member of the British Hematology Committee and the Hematology Federation of Turkey. He has performed many advanced procedures, such as autologous and allogenic , aspiration, and biopsy. He has made important contributions to patient care and research in thalassemia.

Prof. Dr. Songul Serefhanoglu is a leading hematologist. She is the Director and President of the Adult Hematology Department at Sisli Memorial Hospital in Istanbul, a role she has held since 2019. She also practices at ISU Medical Park. Dr. Serefhanoglu specializes in peripheral hematopoietic transplantation. Each year, she performs 100-120 transplants, including 60-70 allogenic and 40-50 autologous procedures.

Dr. Serefhanoglu earned her medical degree from Firat University. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Inonu University and her hematology training at Hacettepe University. She became an Associate Professor in 2012 and a full Professor in 2018. Dr. Serefhanoglu has held leadership positions in several major hospitals in Istanbul, demonstrating her expertise in hematology.

Dr. Yener Koç is a specialist trained in the USA. He founded the Transplant Center at Medicana International Istanbul. Dr. Koç has performed more than 1,900 transplants. His patients have long-term survival rates of 66-90% for different blood disorders. He keeps mortality rates low, between 0.5-9%.

Dr. Koç has written over 230 scientific articles. Since 2004, he has served as a JACIE Accreditation Inspector for European Transplant Centers. He has received several awards, including the Outstanding Physician Award from Boston University and the International Healthcare Professional of the Year (UK).

Prof. Dr. Osman İLHAN graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 1978. After completing his internal medicine residency at the same faculty in 1982, he served as a senior resident at the GATA Hematology Clinic during his military service. After completing his mandatory service at SSK Ulus Hospital, he returned to Ankara University Faculty of Medicine for a subspecialty. In 1990, he became an associate professor of hematology. He worked in Genoa, Italy to increase his knowledge and experience in leukemia. He was part of the team that performed the first transplant in Turkey. In 1996, he went to the MD Anderson Cancer Center in the USA to work on " Cell Mobilization, Cryopreservation, and Transplantation." In 1996, he became a professor of hematology. In 1999, he was elected as the regional president of ESFH (European Society for Hemapheresis). Dr. İlhan, who was the founder and president of the Hemapheresis Society in 2000, joined the World Apheresis Association (WAA) in 2001. He became the President of the Turkish Hematology Association in October 2001. Dr. İlhan, who is an active member of the European Hematology Association (EHA), was a member of the accreditation committee (ECAH) for education. He played a role in the accreditation of Turkish hematologists in CME credits by participating in the accreditation of congresses and courses held in Turkey as a Provider Status. He served as the founding president of the Therapy and Regenerative Medicine Association established in 2008. He became the founding president of the Geriatric Hematology Association in 2011. He is the Honorary President of the World Apheresis Congress (WAA) held in 2012. Dr. İlhan, who previously served on drug licensing and ethics committees at the Ministry of Health, has also served as the Chairman of the Photopheresis-Apheresis Commission and the Scientific Committee for , as well as the Chairman of the National Organ Tissue Cell Coordination Board, the Scientific Board of Cord Blood, and the Cell Research Board. He is the founding president of the FOUNDATION and has played an important role in the establishment of TURKOK (Turkish Cell Donor Bank). Dr. İlhan has over 300 publications in journals registered in PubMed and more than 5000 citations. He holds the Platinum CME certificate from the European Hematology Association. He owns four brands/patents named “Kökten Çözüm (Deep Solution), Telehematoloji (Telehematology), Hemaferez (Hemapheresis), Kanser Kök Hücresi (Cancer Cell)”. He is currently the President of the Ankara Medical Association. Prof. Dr. Osman İlhan, who served at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine for 50 years, began working at Özel Koru Ankara Hospital as of January 1, 2023.
