Dr. Samuray Tuncer is a specialist in eye diseases. He focuses on ocular oncology and is known for treating intraocular tumors such as choroidal melanoma and retinoblastoma. He uses advanced methods like radioactive plaque therapy. The success of this treatment often depends on the physician’s experience.

Dr. Tuncer is an active member of the Turkish Society of Ophthalmology. He serves on the executive board of its Oncology Unit. He is also a member of the International Society of Ocular Oncology and the American Academy of Ophthalmology. In addition, he is on the editorial board of the Turkish Journal of Ophthalmology.
