Dr. Cenan Oktay was born in 1965 in Plovdiv-Bulgaria. He completed his primary school education in Istanbul in 1977. He completed his secondary and high school education at Istanbul Erkek High School, which provides education in German. He graduated from Trakya University Faculty of Medicine in 1984.

Due to his interest in surgery, he completed his General Surgery internship while he was a student, Heidelberg University Head of Surgery Clinics in Germany, Prof.Dr. ch. He did it with Herfarth.

He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine with his 3rd degree in 1990 and started his General Surgery specialization training at SSK Okmeydanı Training Hospital in Istanbul in September-1991. He prepared congress publications as well as clinical and experimental studies during his residency training.

In 1993, he received training on "Microsurgery Course" and "Valtrac" rings used in GIS anastomoses at Würtzburg University, Germany, and became the first user in Turkey and used them in his specialization thesis.

He completed the "Surgical Gastroenterology Endoscopy Training Courses" at Istanbul Medical Faculty. Dr. Abdulkadir Bedirli completed his medical education at Istanbul University Istanbul Medical Faculty in 1988. He became a General Surgeon in 1997 and was appointed as Associate Professor in the Department of General Surgery at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine in 2005. He became a Professor in 2010.

In 2011, Dr. Bedirli completed the Robotic Surgery Certification Program in Strasbourg and became a console surgeon. He performed his first robotic surgery in the Department of General Surgery at Gazi University in the same year.
