Prof. Dr. Kandemir was the head of the Periodontology Department at Ege University until 2019. He has made significant contributions to dental science, particularly in periodontal disease and implantology over his dynamic career.

Dr. Kandemir holds a Doctorate in Clinical Sciences from Ege University, where he has been a full professor since 1994. He has published 14 research papers and presented at various international conferences, including the İzmir Dişhekimleri Odası and ACBID International Conference.

He has supervised numerous doctoral theses and led impactful research projects, enhancing periodontal treatment methods. Dr. Kandemir is proficient in English and continues to advance dental education and care standards at Nifa Dent Oral and Dental Health Clinic.

After graduated from Ege University, Faculty of Dentistry in 2003 he started his PhD education in the Department of Periodontology, Institute of Health in the same university. Dr. Esra Bozbay graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry in 2009. During her undergraduate studies, she was an observer student at Temple University Kornberg Faculty of Dentistry and Pennsylvania University Faculty of Dentistry in 2007 in the USA. She was an observer student at the Faculty of Dentistry of ACTA (Academisch Centrum Tandheelkunde Amsterdam) in the Netherlands in 2008.

After 3 years of her doctorate program at Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry, Department of Periodontology, she was accepted to the Department of Periodontology, Faculty of Dentistry, Rome La Sapienza University in Italy, in order to do her PhD thesis. She became a board-certified physician in 2013.

She completed her second PhD in Maxillofacial Sciences and Surgery Department at Rome La Sapienza University Faculty of Medicine between 2013 and 2017.

Between 2018-2020, she did Master of Science in Orthognathic Surgery and Temporomandibular Joint Surgery sub-branch at the Sapienza University of Rome. 

She has received many special educations about laser dentistry, face driven dentistry, digital smile design, all on four, all on six implant applications, fast&fixed implant applications and immediate implant appllications.

She became a lecturer with the title of Assistant Professor between 2014-2016, at Istanbul Aydın University Faculty of Dentistry; and at Bahçeşehir University between 2019-2021.
