Prof. Dr. Erdem Akbal was born in 1978 in Kırıkkale. In 2015, he received training at the Johns Hopkins Hospital Advanced Endoscopy Unit, focusing on Endoscopic Ultrasonography and advanced endoscopic procedures. In 2017, he trained at the Amsterdam Academic Medical Center in techniques such as endoscopic submucosal dissection, endoscopic mucosal resection, diffuse esophageal spasm, and endoscopic full-thickness resection for treating early-stage gastrointestinal sy tumors. He also received training in high-resolution manometry and POEM (Peroral Endoscopic Myotomy) for diagnosing esophageal diseases like achalasia. In 2018, he furthered his education in ESD and Balloon Enteroscopy at Jichi University.

Dr. Ufuk Önsal was born in Gelibolu in 1984. After graduating from high school at Ankara Atatürk Anatolian High School, he completed his undergraduate degree at the Faculty of Medicine at Afyon Kocatepe University. Prof. M.D. Yusuf Serdar Sakin was born in Nevşehir in 1978. After completing his primary and secondary education in Ankara, he graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Gülhane Military Medical Academy in 2002.
Following his graduation, he served in Gole/Ardahan for two years. He started his internal medicine training at the Department of Internal Medicine, Gülhane Faculty of Medicine.
After completing his training, he worked as an internal medicine specialist in Ankara. A year later, he began additional training in the Department of Gastroenterology at Gülhane Faculty of Medicine and completed his training in 2014.
After graduation, Yusuf Serdar Sakin continued to work in the same department. He also received advanced endoscopy and Motility training at AMC Center in the Netherlands in 2017.
After obtaining the title of Associate Professor in 2017, he became a Professor in 2023.
He currently provides medical services to patients at Koru Ankara Hospital. His areas of medical interest include:

Dr. Osman Krand is a general surgeon with a focus on gastrointestinal surgery. He has expertise in endoscopy, colorectal diseases, and surgery of the esophagus and stomach. He also performs procedures on the liver, pancreas, and biliary tract. Dr. Krand is known for treating abdominal tumors with surgery and hot chemotherapy.

He graduated from Istanbul University Cerrahpasa Faculty of Medicine. He completed his surgical training at Istanbul Haydarpasa Numune Hospital. Dr. Krand has served as Principal and Assistant Chair at leading hospitals in Istanbul. He has also taught as an associate professor and instructor at Yeditepe University.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Ertugrul is a gastroenterologist with experience in ERCP, liver transplant, gastroscopy, endoscopic surgery, and liver biopsy. He treats liver and bile duct diseases. Dr. Ertugrul graduated from Istanbul University, Faculty of Medicine. He completed his training in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.

He became an Associate Professor in 2010. Dr. Ertugrul is a member of the Turkish Gastroenterology Association, Turkish Liver Research Association, and Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Association. He has performed over 5,000 advanced endoscopic procedures. He has also published many articles and received several accreditations in his field.

Prof. Dr. Adil Baykan is a leading general and oncological surgeon in Turkey. He has over 28 years of clinical experience. He specializes in colorectal, endoscopic, and laparoscopic surgeries. He also treats thyroid and breast diseases.

Dr. Baykan has published several articles on colon cancer in national and international journals. He completed advanced training at St. Mark’s Hospital in London, the University of Minnesota, and the Mayo Clinic in the USA. He holds important academic and surgical roles at top hospitals in Turkey.
